China ban ico  and also try to ban bitcoin.As a result bitcoin dumping and price 3000$ below.Now bitcoin again hit 4000$+ now .Bitcoin can 5000$ before november? I want to hold my bitcoin  plz give me your predict?

If wallets and services start upgrading to SegWit, yes probably otherwise It may take sometime and don't forget about SegWit2x, even though people now understand that a chain split is nothing to be afraid of (just like BitcoinCash case), I believe we will see a price decrease like in the last time, mostly due to people spreading FUD.

I'm no expert in this area, but I don't think bitcoin will reach 5000$ before November. Maybe before 2018, but I doubt anything right now. It'll be a few months. Just hold, and eventually, it will go above the 5000$ mark.

Let's wait and watch how the market evolves and how the changes that will happen because of Segwit2x will affect BTC. I believe that til the end of this year we will reach $5000 but before November, well, i may or not, because BTC is still volatile, but surely a growing currency!

When the bitcoin fall below 3000 USD I wasn't accepting that quick recovery and sold almost all bitcoin by booking loss on them, I am regretting now.
Highly possible after that fast recovery from $3000 to $4000 that it is going to touch that $5000 mark pretty soon.

Right Now it is above 4200 USD on almost all exchange.

With another chain split bound to occur in October as per sources, it's going to be a hard call to say if Bitcoin can cross the $5k mark. If everything occurs just like the previous hard fork, it will surely go beyond the mark in November as all the FUD would've disappeared to thin air.

We've already hit $5000 why not go for a more bullish figure like $7000 by January?

Personally I don't think so because the block size limit debate is going to be really tested in November with a hard fork. But you never really know. I think it's definitely going to hit a high between now and November, the question is how high.

There is a good chance that it will happen but if I am going to predict the price, 5000 USD will sit in last week of November.
But everything is possible. I am hoping also that the price will raise in the following weeks.

Personally, I am sure bitcoin will hit $5000, a few months ago the price of bitcoin didn't take long to hit $5000. let alone the next few months after segwit happens yes bitcoin can hit $5000, let's see :)

Everyone want's the price to get higher and be stable but we couldn't say if it would continue to go high or go down low.

What I know china does not prohibit the use of bitcoin but only limits its use, indeed after the rule is made bitcoin prices decreased in 2-3 days. But after that, all can be overcome. As we know now the selling price of bitcoin increases even though the price movement rises slowly but bitcoin again proves that bitcoin value will not affect Chinese regulation.
I believe the value of bitcoin in november will increase, but much news before november precisely in October there will be bitcoin split that will cause a new type of coin called BtcGold. As much as possible we must prepare for the split as happened in August yesterday, bitcoin is divided into two namely the existence of BtcCash, at the time of the split it happened all transactions were stopped at that time even bitcoin value again decreased the price.

I would say yes.We will see 5000$ now by the end of october.Panic sellers have settled down.Good news incoming.China fud is almost over for now.It's a good time to buy bitcoin.Price surely going to hit 5000$ soon but whales will probably dump again to cash out profit at that point.Breaking 5000$ barrier is a challenge now for bitcoin and will take time.

To reach bitcoin price to 5000$  is not possible. But i think it will happen more years from now and not before november. But still continue to hold your coin, so that when the time come that the price of bitcoin reach to 5000$ you can earn more profit.

I don't think bitcoin will hit 5000 USD in November since one of the major contributor of bitcoin, China , Banned ICO and Since ICOs are playing major role in bitcoin. It will be hard to gain its putting again. I think bitcoin will stay to its value for the few months but who knows, It is future that we are talking about.

Actually, it's tough to say when it will hit $5000.Bitcoin price is on a stable position from last few days.So,I don't think price will hit $5000 so soon.We have to wait until the first month of next year.In January 2018,there is certain chance's of bitcoin hitting $5000.So,I will advice to hold bitcoin for couple of months to get big profit.

oh god why would you sell at a loss?!? Bitcoin is going to be much much higher in the future there is no reason to ever sell at a loss.

And $3000 was the base of the August boom, and the peak of the May/June boom, which means if it were to get down to $3000 it was gonna shoot way back up quickly, which is exactly what happened. I can't imagine why anyone would sell down at $3000.

I think November will bring a bear market until the fork goes through, which will then turn into a bull market by December when it all settles out. I do expect gains in october, possibly above $5000, but at the very least to the high $4000s. Not sure if it will actually break $5000 before the hard fork FUD starts dampening the prospects in November, just because $5000 is bound to again have lots of sell pressure. December for sure above $5000.

No one could really tell if it'll hit $5000 before November however some experts can speculate around how much Bitcoin would cost by then. But there is a big possibility it will reach that amount before November though, we will just have to wait what happens around that time.

No one will know that, what if some one tell you that their prediction is yes bitcoin can be 5000 usd and its not really happen in november? Of course you feel sad if that happen. So lets just wait and see if what happen to the price of bitcoin in november.

Never say never. But it's hard to tell. Any new law or information about bitcoin can just cause the price to rise or fall.

Usually after the price drop comes a big climb. We see already quite a long period of decline. This means that everyone who was interested in the fact that it is cheaper to buy coins did it already, and now will be shortage of coins in the market and the price will go up. I'm sure that now bitcoin will easily overcome the barrier of 5000 dollars and maybe even more.

I'm very unsure of bitcoin going to hit 5000$ before november, even until the end of this year I guess bitcoin will not reach that value. Bitcoin is quite large in china and china has banned ICO and this is the cause of bitcoin prices will not reach 5000$ in this year.

I think it has a better chance of $3000 than $5000.  The disagreements regarding following through with the NYA are going to start heating up soon and that will have people running for the hills.

if I think $ 5000 will happen after hardfork in november, because maybe there will be bad issues again before hardfork happened as the case of August 1 ago (only in my opinion), and maybe will make panic bitcoin holder again. but hopefully this does not happen, and people have started smart not to believe the bad issues.

I guess bitcoin is now starting to pump nicely again as I check a while ago it almost reach $4200 and still going up. I think it is more likely that it will reach $5000 this october and hoping this pump will continue to grow up to the end of this year. I know there is an upcoming hardfork again but I feel positive that bitcoin will remain good abd stable after that

most of predictions are not true. so instead of asking some professional predictor, use your own prediction, you got a bitcoin, all you have to do is to believe in what decision you have to do. for me, bitcoin is constantly increasing after a deep dig so, i expected that the price of this bitcoin will reached to $5000+ even if bitcoin not reach to $5000 this year, im sure it will reached after this year.

My opinion. Not before November, but in November will be comfortable  5,000$ . At this price it can take some time. It will try 7000$ again later.

i think bitcoin can hit $5000 but i am not sure that it will happen before november. we need to wait what will happen in the end of this month because china wants to shutdown all exchanges. but if you want to hold for a long term, i am sure that you can see the price will hit $5000 and maybe it will happen before next year.

I don't think Bitcoin will reach 5k before November. Recently Bitcoin has dipped then slowly goes up. Maybe before the year is over it'll reach 5k but I don't think we'll see that price anytime soon. Let's not forget there's going to be a hard fork of Bitcoin coming up so the price is definitely going down.

As long as new investors enter the market, it will not fall below $ 3,000. Of course this is my idea. The media effect is ongoing. And it will continue until 2020.

Yes. Since we saw that only a few months ago almost half of the price was raised. And now we've also seen this with the drop of bitcoins at 3,000 $ and just a few days later it returns at 4,100 $ today. Ganon speed is up and it is not likely to cost $ 5,000 to get bitcoins especially during december many people are buying bitcoins. And in the upcoming 2nd Split where there will be a new Bitcoins live again. Did you see the result in August 1? Did you see the first split and how much does it change the price of bitcoins?

I think it mostly depends on how SegWit2x will play out. If 2x doesn't break the bitcoin, it is quite possible. But i also believe that SegWit2x has much more potential to do some real damage to the whole cryptocoin ecosystem than bitcoin cash ever had. Let's wait and see.

It might or it might not. No one really knows about it. But yeah sure, it will definitely hit $5K again but as to when exactly that I do not know. I think it's safe to say that before the year ends it will reach the 5k mark given that China is out and they can't play with the market anymore. See? I think if there wouldnt be any more bad news + everyone will stop panic. I think bitcoin can reach easily 5k even in the mid october. Also if some intresting positive news will come up bitcoin can gain even more value in November.

I think it's impossible, with a situation that is still chaotic now, bitcoin will still be very difficult to touch 5000 $ before this november, but if the end of this year may be possible, because given the bitcoin continues to rise from year to year

Yes the chances of getting at that price is really high, the only arguing issue is on what specific date. I knew that from the start the china ban and JP Morgan CEO statement will not be affecting bitcoin price in the long time. It only sated for a week or minimum 8-10 days. And only touches at dipping point up to 2800$. Isn't it ironic how bitcoin handle that so much bad news and still recovering at it. It only makes the bitcoin community more strong as we faces this kind of propaganda to ruined it. They can try but will never be successful especially those who work on corrupt  banking system.

The exchange rate was close to $5,000, when the crash happened as a result of the China ban. Seems like we are still in the recovery phase, and once it is complete the prices will jump back to 5K.

Yes i will try to answer it , as it is under my expertise. Well i will be honest to you, I am playing for the target of $5500 for sure, but yes cant make it sure how much time will it take. But i am confident with my approach that $5500 is coming in few months or few weeks. There are many reasons behind it, i will try to tell you. If you can see the Pullback (dips) it made to 61.8 Fib retracement and then it made a bounce with RSI momentum increasing with good green candle showing the start of bullish power after a downtrend, indicating the start of uptrend. So you should go for it, minimum expectation is $5000 by this year end.

Actually we cannot predict anything . Who knows some famous Economist might just call Bitcoin useless or fraud making the prices of Bitcoin to fall like it had recently fell . While those bans took place, everyone thought Bitcoins would break down under 2500 and it didn't happen but they were successful to take it to 3k.
It reverted back to 4200 once again and is playing between 4100 - 4200 currently which shows that recovery of Bitcoins doesn't take too much time.
So for Bitcoins, breaking above 5k before November just needs it to break out the 4500 price after which it will be very easy. Don't know why, but all such politics either by Government or miners is making Bitcoin more and more stronger.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were some more volatility in October based out of China. The National Congress of the Communist Party of China is happening in the latter part of October there are typically lots of edicts from this once in 5 year event. However, it is my best guess that once this is over we will get back to business as usual and end the year on a good note.

Well i don't think that price will be 5000$ before November. There's still month and few days left till November, so everything can happen... But i'm quite sure it won't, as now with china's problems and everything, it will be really hard to see 1000$ change in one month.

We will see 5000$ before 2018 though, price always rises at December.

I think that was a good news for the people who are very aware in the price of the btc but I think we must always focus on the annoumcements and news of course. Because we all know that the price of bitcoin is unpredictable so it is very hard to say if it will be going to happen. But I can feel that it will happen.

Even if it doesn't rich that price this year, you should still hold bitcoin. Bitcoin is one of the best investment, it has a lot of potential and it becomes even more famous each year. A lot of people are getting interested to it because of it's profitability, so I guess it will grow higher by next year.

There is not a lot of user support for 2x, also IMO BCash was a test case, the market chose, and the market chose Bitcoin.  We now have a precedent the future and any other forks will become new additions to the altcoin roster.

Barring any major catastrophes or all out war on crypto, we have a clear run to $5000 now and after that its all blue-sky breakout and a clear run to major all time highs.  We will reach $5000 next month, where will the top be?  That's anyone's guess.  My guess is $8000.

I believe it won't hit $5000 before November because upcoming hardfork will prevent people buying more Bitcoin. But after hardfork (may be a week later) it will start a trip to the moon, leaving $5000 behind :)

Predicting bitcoin price is extremely difficult (otherwise a lot of people would be millionares now), but I would say that $5000 is possible, if not in October, then until the end of the year. It is not that far off the current price, a jump of $800 can happen just in a few days. Nobody knows.

Welll, with an ETH update coming out BTC might rise just due to that. If ETH has a huge price incrase I think BTC will too because usually when one or the other goes up or down the others follow it.

Granted I think the price is more tied to BTC, meaning that BTCmakes everything go up or down, but ETH has some strong potential for something happening here this month or in next week or two.

I think it's safe to say BTC will reach 5000 by November.  The volatility of it has pushed it up 6% over the last day and a half.  Positive momentum could push Bitcoin to 5k by Tuesday.

I think Bitcoin will get over 5k$ at the early November right after the 2nd hard fork if everything will be the same as it was after the hard fork on 1st August when Bitcoin only more than 2k$ and rised to over 4k$ in just few days after the hard fork. Now bitcoin and all the crypto-currency in general are very unstable because of the recent events in China. If there are issues with the prohibition of circulation of crypto currency will be solved successfully for it, then there will be no obstacles for bitcoin and it will start to rise sharply in price and it is quite possible that by November it will reach $ 5,000. Otherwise, bitcoin will be restored a few more months and by November this course will not reach.

I expect to see some consolidation a few the turmoil of  the last 4 weeks. Nothing ever goes up in a straight line. As for what the price will be in Nov, no one knows and you should not even be spending your time speculating about it. It's a futile exersize.

Everyone is talking about the problems in China but who knows the specific of Chinese who felt the pressure of Chinese authorities. It seems to me that this is a fake that was intended to minimize the price of bitcoins and vozmozno the Chinese were buying up cheap bitcoins. May be they want not only to be leaders in the mining but also to be leaders among users.

If this is the beginning of a new ATH, we might not only see Bitcoin hit $5000 again, but it will probably go above it. From a technical perspective it is supposed to break the previous high.

I already read some TA that this is a consolidation leading to a new ATH. But we need to see things and they evolved. Right now its still above $4100 but its down .50-.60% So its really hard to predict then. But lets remain positive that this is an upward trend and hope that it will continue before November and see the price goes to $5000 once again or even more.

China's concern is not a reason for bitcoin price not to reached $5,000.

I considered that as a FUD and people was able to take advantage of it by riding those dips. Bitcoin price recovered many times now after a big FUD and panic so people must eye for long term than having a weak hands.

I think this is possible because a lot of people are expecting it to reach $4000 + by the end of the year. But, no matter how much it will be till the end of the year, a lot of people will still patronize bitcoin because it is so profitable. If it will not reach this price maybe by next year it will increase higher.

Bitcoin can hit $5k next week but I don't know what it will do.  Its a lot easier for it to get to $5k now that it was already there just a couple weeks ago.

I highly doubt that bitcoin will reach 5000$ mark in November or even in 2018. China is trying its best to put Bitcoin away from its banks and is resulting in reduction of the price. The Chinese miners are also scared because they are afraid to hold their Bitcoins as China can anytime consider them illegal and those who may hold the coins might face some problems. In fact, China will not allow anyone to hold Bitcoins and thus the price may be reduced drastically. Although Bitcoin is not only limited to China but still Chinese Government has adversely affected the Bitcoin.

At the end of October, the closure of the second and third biggest cryptocurrency exchange platform in China would affect negatively Bitcoin. Hence, I would preferably say it would hit 5000 dollars at the end of the year

China wont make a firm decision until the PROC annual meeting in october is over. Also I highly doubt they permanently  ban them since they are not going to miss this boat. They are not dumb. They just wanna figure out a way to control them. Even with china out thats not going to stop cryptos and bitcoin.

At this time the price of bitcoin is 4100 dollars and I think it will continue to increase again. And possible we the price of 5k dollars . But we dont know when price reach that maybe it will increase or reach 5k dollars next month or maybe in the month of november so its exact to your due date . It seems that there's no impact with the current news about South Korea's move about ICO's, they did the same thing as what China did. Yes, they did banned ICO's too but I can't any impact for now or many it will occur for the next days to come since we are now getting close to the end. I have the believe that bitcoin's price will increase and will get up to $5,000 but no idea if it can happen this November.

I personally have not been able to confirm or predict that bitcoin prices will reach $5000 before November, but i think if look at the current bitcoin price movement it's likely can be happened. China just  said they ban ico and bitcoin .But they can not do for permanently because China already earn many bitcoin for bitcoin mining and trading.I think they only stop or ban some ico who didnot get proper permission from them.

I don't think so. In the month of November, there will be a hardfork. As far as I remember, the price of Bitcoin before the recent hardfork is just 2500$ or something like that, it dumped for about a week and after the hardfork, in just 25 days Bitcoin is able to reach the 4k dollar mark. I think it won't be able to reach 5k before the hardfork, maybe after the hardfork it will be. And I think there will be dumps as the hardfork is approaching.

Agree, traders and big whales may spread misleading information about November hard fork to shake down the market and create another panic sell.
But, there is possibility that bitcoin price will tanks as people already used to it due to free bitcoin cash which create another source of income.

Yes, bitcoin proof that it can be stop by the Chinese government due to the level of how it surge up from the dip cause by the rejection of Chinese government. 1 month starting today, I don't want to say that I'm sure of saying that bitcoin can hit $5,000 before November. Why not give it a try and extend that before November into the end of this year? I think it could be possible for bitcoin to hit 5000 dollars before November. Price of bitcoin dropped when China banned ICOs and other things, because most of miners was in China. And there was panic sale, because people did not know what was going on, and they tried to minimize their loss by selling. Which led to a bigger drop in price. But so far holding bitcoin has always proven best thing to do, therefor i advise you to hold and wait for higher price.

I don't think so. It will be hard for Bitcoin to reach 5000$ mark alone without China which is one of the major investors. In fact, Bitcoin is still on its way of recovering from the downfall it suffered dure to what happened with the exchanges in China. Maybe before this year end it will be priced higher than 5000 especially if the incoming hardfork will succeed just like the recent fork which happened last month of August that positively affect its market value.

Price will hit $5K in the next week.  Hell I wouldn't be at all surprised if it hit $5K in the next few days the way it is going right now.   I am guessing 6-7K by end of OCT. IT might get somewhere around 4800$ at the end of october but still not over $5k and we'll probably see that price in the november but as we know, there's an expected fork and the 'possible' China ICO ban lifting, so if there is a correction coming after that the price might not remain above $5k all the time but still, I'd say that we'll have a $5k+ price somewhere mid november.

That 5000$ before November is too low, I may eyeing up to 5200$- 5350$ as the peak even a Segwit( November fork) will not affect at all as what happened last August 1(bitcoin cash) at that time more negative news or FUD’s. I agree totally with you. People that are in cryptocurrency world have grown mature and resistant to some level. After things like China and South Korea ban of ICO, people have seen that Bitcoin is stronger than they thought and that it is becoming currency that is used all around the world.

I do hope it reach $5000 by or after November. The things is the market already had an all time high last month amounting to $5000 and I don't see any particular reason how the market can pump it back. Since the ICO ban in China which the market already cope up with I'm optimistic that it will reach near $5000 before the year ends. With that in mind, we can hope for a new all time high for the coming year and I will be expecting it for 2nd or 3rd quarter of the year 2018.

Yes, it depends a lot on any new law and enforcement on bitcoins. Even the future for bitcoin was dark in the past but now we can hope good for bitcoin. Even Russia has now declared bitcoins as legal giving it a pump again. Bitcoins have given us huge profits and will still continue to give but if any harsh laws are implied on bitcoins then bitcoin can again fall and perhaps can fall permanently. If bitcoin will hit $5,000 before November it might because of the bitcoin gold dumps. But I doubt it that will happen before November.

My speculation is this is possible but on the mid month of November or maybe before this year ends.

Actually $10k could be really possible but only after a long journey for bitcoins but we cannot predict now as the price for bitcoin has again started growing from past few days facing the issue of china banning ICO, bitcoin again grew up giving us a good profit. I don't think bitcoin will now go much below but perhaps it may fall 100-200$ and then will again grow up like a rocket. it would be a head start for many investors and then later they can start making money via bitcoins.

Yes it can possibly reach $5000 but before that maybe there will be an upcomming crash, I guess the prediction of most can happen before the hard fork there is a sudden increase and sudden decrease and now what we experiencing is a increase in value if bitcoin will reach $5000 that would be a good thing for those investors.

I also think Bitcoin will reach $5000 before november.  Look at the current price, it goes up really quick from last week.  Just some more push then Bitcoin will be in $5000.  I think this is due to the upcoming fork and some huge company adoption.  People will buy Bitcoin because they are thinking stuff that happen last August where those who hold more Bitcoin got more coin on the minor chain.  If that happen, they will have an additional profit aside from the Bitcoin chain itself.

I think that many people now put their money in bitcoin because of the fork.
They want to get the new coin for free after the fork. Just like it happened with BCH.
These people will not sell until after the fork, so I don't see bitcoin price will bounce back in the coming weeks.

There is now 100% possibility that bitcoin will hit the speculation target of $5,000 besides it could reach more than that even the hard fork is coming again, instead of people are worrying they sell or trade their altcoins to bitcoin in order to hoard for more. If it will hits the $5,000 mark the next challenging target will be $10,000 for the next year therefore we must be on board now before its too late.

In my opinion, the price of Bitcoin will breakout this target soon. I remember when the price of Bitcoin increased to $4,900 in last month, it had passed this price and keep in few hours on Chinese exchange, but of course it had dumped by the FUDs after that.

I am sure that the price of the coming days will exceed $ 5,000. Until October 25, it will be even higher than $ 6,000. Too now strong expectations of investors. Then of course as always will be a correction but I guess the price of bitcoin will never fall below $ 5,000. Next year we can expect $ 10,000 and even higher.

The community is no longer afraid of hard forks so FUD may no longer work in this kind of situations. Forks are now seen as a way to get more free coins (Bitcoin Cash before and now BitcoinGold and B2X) and this explain the sudden demand and the price increase that we are currently seeing.

That really looks like being the case with the current price increases caused by the upcoming forks. I expect a slight crash after the forks as people get rid of their bitcoin and go back to holding whatever they were holding before.

It is hard for me to predict things that gonna be happened in the future.The unexpected changes of it's rate will happened anytime weather we like it or not. Well, lucky if the target amount will soon to be reach. What if not? I think this can be totally reach this year but I don't think this would be this month or before this coming November.

As the thread title we'll reach $5000 before November even if the situation around us were not in a state to support the growth and reach next levels of advancement. Now itself we are near to the $5000  mark, so without anything in particular the price will cross or stay within the limits and then might change the regulations.

At the rate it is going, i think it will hit the 5000$ this november. Today's range 4764.12 -4828.97. It  an even reach to s maximum of  5110$ by november 9 but will slow down at 4610 by 4619 according to prediction.

Yes I think Bitcoin could hit $5000 before November. It is possible now that Bitcoins price is soaring up high before the fork on October 25th. But we'll never know until what amount Bitcoin will reach this month.

It is almost there and I guess it is going to be there. After that almost stable price of bitcoin, now it has spiked its price already and as what many of us is expecting it has recovered quickly. So better hold and go with the flow.

I think it depends upon the investment of the people, because if a largenumber of people invest in bitcoin the rice will raise more and more in short time and may it reach or cross the limit of 5000 dollars till or before November although it seems very difficult.

I am also waiting for rise in piece because I want to do lot of big things from bitcoin like, a big house, luxury car, and business as well.

i think bitcoin will hit 5000 usd again, but i cannot say for the time frame of november, since there will e bitcoin gold this month, a lot of people are investing in bitcoins, but we cannot say that once they have bitcoin gold already that they will not do profit gaining at that point, since a lot of altcoins are showing great potential for a nice bull run, they might place their bitcoins on altcoins, however, there are still a lot of new users that still do not know how to trade on exchanges, if there will be a large percentage of new users, bitcoin's value will surely rise, but what i can see here is that, after bitcoin gold, people will still hold on to their bitcoins and wait for november's fork, and after that, the price might go down, and some will invest on altcoins. for now i think we should all just stick to our plans, some bitcoin users here in my country, suggests to keep their bitcoins, wait for the forks, still buy more bitcoins and altcoins, and keep doing it till the price of their bitcoin and altcoins doubled or have great returns, i think that's a nice strategy if all factors that affect the value of bitcoin are on the good side of bitcoin, and hopefully we'll get 5000 usd before november.

That's really interesting that the Google value of bitcoin is nearing $5150. The price has moved around $300 - $350 in a single day. If the same level of growth continues with the resistance gain, happening at certain time interval surely can reach much bigger price by Nov.

That is for sure, the price of Bitcoin need to correction of the price again before breakout new resistance price. But you must to know it still depends on the demand on the market. If most of the traders thought the price of Bitcoin will be $6,000 soon, maybe it will not dump to $4,600 again and continue the bullish trend.

It seems Bitcoin won't just reach $5000 before November but will even hit $6000.  The upcoming fork surely made the bull on steroid because lots of speculators thinks the same thing after a fork last August  might happen this coming update.  Extra chain means Extra money.  So people probably thinking they will buy more Bitcoin to have more profit from the minor chain after the fork.

Well i don't think $5000 is a big deal for bitcoin anyways it can even go higher than that i think it will be able to reach $10000 easily this year and in 2018 even higher than that.

You're right, I think people are buying into bitcoin to get extra coins from the bitcoin gold and the 2X forks.  Just wild speculation, but I think we'll have a pullback after the bitcoin gold fork then a new rally up for the 2X fork.  Either way, this a good time for making money!

Once I found out about fork I have since changed my opinion.  I would say 7K+ by Oct 25th.  There are 13 days left before fork.  It has jumped from 3500 a couple weeks ago to ATH of $5840 in the last hour.   :o

WOW.  Crazy stuff.  Maybe some people know more than I do about BTG value..  Perhaps some are thinking it will double their investment. Hard to say.  Honestly 8K by Oct 25th wouldn't surprise me at this point.

All I can say is thank god I loaded up on coins when it was 3500,  again at 4200 and 50% of my holdings are at 4800.  I only bought so much at 4800 because I could see how fast it was jumping and how fast my major
alt currencies were dumping. Clearly people are moving their money from alt coins to buy BTC.  Great buying opportunity right now for Alt coins. 

Now the tricky part is when to sell BTC. Right before fork or right after.  If it hits 7K I will strongly consider selling of half my BTC and take some profit.  Or dump it into alt coins while they are so low and BTC value is so high.  I'm already at 26% gain on BTC.

I have read an article about a family (specifically the father) sold everything including their house and lot and purchase a chalet in a camping site and other things that can be sold are up for sale. They gone all in to Bitcoin. I think he is Norweigian (not sure).

Actually, China's influence in Bitcoin's market is not that great anymore compared in the past. It is much more well distributed worldwide. On the other hand, ETH has fallen greatly maybe China's ban in ICO have hit it hard since most of it is in ETH blockhain.

I also am hoping for the bitcoin price to reach more than $8k by end of this year. I am surprised to see that what people can do for free money, the price is rising due to fork which is planned for 25th October, so the people are buying bitcoin and selling altcoins for taking a chunk of that bitgold. And I believe that after the fork is done then the price of bitcoin is gonna fall back to where it was before this pump. But this pump is gonna benefit bitcoin in the long run for sure.

What are you guys talking about? We are almost $5000 now and we are still far from the Oct. 25 split. I sure that by November the price of bitcoin could be in the range of $6000-$7000 or more. At the end of the split this October, I don't see any significant drop of the price but it will gain momentum coming to the Nov split. So I say that the price could be anywhere between $6000-$7000. I'm been very bullish lately so I'm positive that the price is heading on that direction. No significant dump will dent the price below $5000.

Correct me if I am wrong but your 5000$ prediction comes so fast and early before the month of november. It suprises each and every one of us. It is not a middle in the month of november but it already reaches 7000$. What more in december if that continue ? 10,000$ or maybe more since it is so fast. What a life changing thing. It just made me more addict to bitcoin. Yes I am already addicted to bitcoin ot is 2000$ but it double now. By this, it encourage me more to convert all my coins into bitcoin and in bitcoin I will just wait and wait for its increase since it is so fast. True, $5K is already exceeded. We are no longer talking about it, but about $8K in this november. However, seems that soon will also be hit. We realize that optimism of bitcoin holders a few years ago has yielded very satisfying results.

The price had been exceeded long back, but it might fall back. We cannot conclude anything in the cryptocurrency. Though the possibility is low, based on the upcoming effect on the fork things might change. Let's hope to experience further price increase to cross $10000 than falling back to $5000.

Bitcoin already cross 6900$ and now 1 Bitcoin equals 6928.06 US Dollar.  Always believe in bitcoin and the price of bitcoin is raising so fast and if the price continue to growing in this way then  i think  bitcoin obviously can hit 10,000$ or more in the next 5-6 months
