When authors and their teams produce books on Publica’s platform, they’re selling digital keys to the digital edition. Real keys. That means they own the books as a digital bearer asset, and there are many implications that follow from that simple innovation on the Publica platform. Publica’s internal currency is a token called Pebbles. (PBL ticker on exchanges.) Pebbles are a new valuta that offers independence to the people working on a book project, or a derivative rights project like audio books, movies, episodic television, games, merchandise, theme park attractions, expanded editions, illustrated editions, updated editions, learning system editions, sequels, prequels, spin-offs, even songs.

Publica will make one billion PBL tokens to function as currency for payments within the Publica ecosystem. PBL is the ticker name for these tokens on third-party exchanges where they can be traded for dollars, Euros and other fiat currencies, as well as Bitcoin, Ether and other cryptocurrency coins. won’t Prices and service-provider rates will appear in their browsers and phones in the currency they choose, the same as on any ecommerce site today.

Publica have a very interesting concept. Will make it easier for people to transact using fiat currency and cryptocurrency coins .Very interesting,good luck.

They also have a great model for how to help authors that self publish earn more from their books.
And at the same time making it easier for readers to find the books they are looking for.
I think this platform is going to shake up publishing.

With alot more Artist now self publishing weather its books. music or film creators. i think this is and amazing idea.
