What can you say about bitcoin that pumped into 4115$. Do you think the goal of everyone for bitcoin will reach its value into 5000$ this 2017?
according to my research, bitcoin price is breaking its resistance level and if trading volume in South Korea, Japan, Europe and the US hold up. So it means there is chance to reach everyone's target. But there are factors that also affects bitcoin like in china, because the bitcoin industry on that country is over.

I definitely think it will surpass $5,000 usd before the year end regardless of anything that happens (or in this case doesn't happen) in China.

I also hope bitcoin will break the $ 5000 price. bitcoin has indeed shown us all that they can get through tough times without China. and I'm sure on this cycle, bitcoin will be stronger and will be more stable.

I think bitcoin will reach this value.

I think Bitcoin will reach the 5000$ by the end of this year of the first months of 2018, if it keep increasing like the few previous months. Anyway holding bitcoins for long term is always profitable.

Yeah, bitcoin has been between $3,5k and $4,2k during this week, so we can expect seeing a price of five thousand before the end of the year, or maybe before november. I really expect to see that price since i want to cashout some of my bitcoins when the price reaches that mark. But we are facing some bad news and that is what makes a big retracement on the price. Lets see how it goes on the next days.

We currently have three months to go before the year ends and just like last year, I am very certain that bitcoins is going to break new grounds during the Christmas festivities. $5000 is a moderate expectation but in my opinion, the value is going to be in the range of $5500 and $5900 or it may even go pass $6000.

I assume the price will surpass 5,000 before Christmas, we finally saw bitcoin break past $4000 this week and it climbed over $4,260 on thursday before falling again. So far it still remains over $4,100. It is the end of the month and quarter, so profit-taking is expected to come into play now.

There has been a lot of TA lately that shows that bitcoin could be rebuilding or consolidating at around $4100-$4200 then we will see a massive bull run on our way. So I'm continue to monitor the price and I saw that it broke the $4200 however, it went down to $4xxx but checking the price is spike at $4200 again. So maybe there's another consolidation that will push the price to move forward as the TA shows. We need to keep a watchful eye on this price movements because its gonna be a good sight seeing the price going up when the expected bullrun happens. If it does then we are going to see $5000 again. It just a matter of time, we may even see more than $5000. Let observe and see how things will evolve in the coming days.

I think it will reach $6000 by the end of this year. Japan issued licenses for bitcoin exchenges so we will see price go up very soon to $5000.

in early october amazon will also formalize payment options with bitcoin. so I guess that will be one of the momentum of bitcoin awakening. and $ 6000 is not impossible.

Before September it was so easy to believe in that price 5000 for 1 BTC. However so far the situation has changed so quickly that it's hard to believe in any prediction or even forecast, based on calculations

Its possible since it did really break the resistance level but somehow stabilize on these ranges which we can assume that it is fueling up of a pump. Hopefully prices would soar on this month of October and possibilities on hitting new ATH would really be always there. I dont know if China effect is still there but seeing on the prices i can say that it is not really majorly affected on the issues around.

The China story is already over. The announcement has been made weeks ago and people are done panicking. We have already seen its affect on the market, and the market has already recovered since then. We are hoping to see 5000$  USD before 2017  :)

Maybe that's the reason why we get a good pump today. 2 Japan exchanges have been granted licenses already. And this could be considered as a welcoming news to the bitcoin community. I also do believed that we can touch $5000 once more around mid October if this trend continues. And then go even higher before the end of the year. So continue to hodl because we may see the price go up once more in the range of $5000-$7000. Let all forgot China now. They have no significant impact to the price.

I think it will even break $5000 as news about bitcoins are spreading everywhere and more and more people are buying bitcoins.

Exactly, I agree with you about this point. It seems that people are still living on a cloud and believing in Santa. And there is not any green light, not any red light either. So it's quite hard to predict something about the value yet. People talking about Bitcoin will be back to 5000$ this year, are just showing their optimism but there is nothing based on fact or something they know about.

Been following bitcoins progress for a few months now. Wish I had gotten in sooner but $5000 is very reasonable IMO

That is not impossible for bitcoin to reach or break the 5000 USD barrier within next few months. Initially we had faced huge attack from the organized financial sector like JPM CEO and then from the communist government of China, which resulted the price to go down to 3000 level and market cap also gone down to 52 billion USD.

However, it is now recovering slowly but steadily. To reach the 5000 USD milestone, we need a market cap of at least 72 billion USD. I believe, the positivity around bitcoin will surely take it up to that desired level by the end of this amazing year.

At the beginning of the year, the price of bitcoin was around $ 1,000. I do not think even the most optimistic bitcoiners would have thought that the bitcoin would reach the $ 5,000 mark at any given time, as has already happened a few weeks ago. So I do not think $5,000 is the original goal that bitcoiners would have outlined earlier this year.

Even if the price fell to $ 1,300 again, this would be a great year for bitcoin, although of course we would all want to see a better price. I am optimistic about it so I think the $ 6,000 line will fall this same year.

If everything goes fine after the upcoming hard fork in November, $5000 is just the beginning of the rally. BTC already recovered from the ban in China and it might be possible, that even they are going to start government regulated exchanges in the future. Even if not, there are challenges and chances for the price to go up even higher.

I think $5000 is just around the corner for Bitcoin, I also believe that after these upcoming update, $6k for Bitcoin is reachable.  Remember we have a good news recently, amazon and goolge will accept Bitcoin as payment.  This is enough to push Bitcoin price to $5000 then the update and implementation of segwit2x mean bitcoin will be a bull in steroid.

You're right.Reaching $5000 now i think is very attainable.People are really  looking forward for that price since there is always a pump every now and then.And if ever time comes that the price drop off,no need to worry because for sure a high pump will follow and $5000 will definitely appear in the market.And after that hard fork in November,people will be more excited again just like what we had experienced last August.

It should reach $5000 before the segwit 2x hardfork happens if that is the hardfork that you are referring to. In that case, we are looking at a price of $5000 before November as of too late. I would say given current technical analysis and by looking at the Bitstamp chart right now, we  re going to be testing $4700 around next week, with some sort of correction followed by another rise and a pop to $5000+. It should be fast, people also want to stack up on BTC in order to receive Bitcoin Gold with is happening about 1 month from now.

This is possible that bitcoin value will reach to 5000$, maybe this november but when the bitcoin dumps on the target date maybe it will not reach the target 5000$

Those factors are just normal to make the market of bitcoin balance and sometimes pull it to dip but later on it will increase.

I bilieve bitcoin price will reach 5k dollars so be ready because as of now the price of bitcoin is 4200 dollars you will be happy for the result. And maybe we see before end of this year more than 5k dollars maybe the highest price is 8k dollars. So if you have bitcoin you can hold it and for sure you will earn a lot of profit in the future. I'm sure this will happen on a bitcoin because it becomes habit after a price decline then bitcoin bitcoin will experience stable with price rises on the $5000 even more in the year 2017 is as the beginning of the bitcoin to rise and increase again after falling several times this year.. Seem it is possible for bitcoin to stay at that range ($5000) this 2017.  FUD seems to loss its effectiveness now and bitcoin is being stable at the current price range for som days now.  I think this is just a bull preparing to charge for another ATH.  We have google and amazon to add on the hype of the upcoming upgrade though possible fork seems to spread FUD to holders, but I guess it will be outweighed by the benefits that we can get from the next Bitcoin update.

I think Bitcoin will be able to reach the 5000$ mark before this year end. There will be a hardfork in November and it will be a chance especially if the hardfork will be successful just like what happened last month that made Bitcoin to go skyrocket and reach 4000$ mark from 2400$ in just a month. Bitcoin didn't pumped, its price slowly increases due to one and another good news, or it's because the nature of bitcoin regarding limited supply and high demand from people around the world. Bitcoin has real usability and utility, offers so many advantages compare to traditional banking system and fiat currency which losing its value over time. Theres no doubt..bitcoin are on its way to hit again the top. certainly it will reach the 5000$ benchmark this year because of it limited supply (21million) the increasing demand will drive the price.
Even theres previous event happen made by china brutal action that made bitcoin price plunge and now followed by south korea resulting a  slowdown little it was easy for bitcoin to went back to track and stabilized.this type of situation are just temporary setback.
 

Actually bitcoin just break the $5000 mark if im not mistaken. Creating its new all time high last month. It just drops quickly to $4800 and drops again until several FUDs we've seen from the past weeks. South Korea just announced the ban on new cryptocurrencies there or ICOs. Which surprisingly didn't hurt bitcoin and back again to $4100+ a piece. I think the FUDs are done. So i think we will go again to the moon in a matter of weeks or days. But we must prepare for the next hard fork next month which big players wants to split bitcoin again. They are gonna call the split coin "bitcoin gold". Bitcoin may back down a bit after the fork.

I agree with you, there's no doubt that bitcoin was reach $5000 before end of this year 2017 due to good fluctuation of bitcoin in the market. Hoping that increasing bitcoin was continue for long term, because I just want to invest more in this coin due to I was expecting that this coming 2018 bitcoin value was increasing more.

I really think we never make it to the $5000 mark value we only reach $4900 until fake news spreads the community and the price starts to plummets down I really think a lot have learned their lesson back then that is why when Korea ban ICO's we are not experiencing the sudden drop, we might experiencing a resistance or dipping with the price but I guess after this news have subside we will see the $5000 mark value this October.

I assume also that bitcoin will reach 5000k or more in this year end . And. Also i hope china stop banning  ICO cause bitcoin value is falling and keep crashing . I recently read some topics about  their doubt if bitcoin never climbed  from falling.. but i think it will  not happened it always rise when it fall every time. I am pretty sure that the price could exceed 5000 $ at the end of 2017. look at current prices, 3 months left until the end of 2017. with that still long enough time then I am sure will be able to reach the target when the increase happens stably. Despite of the news about btc I think it will reach this year to $5000. Yes there is a big possibilities that this will be happen. Bitcoin is always pump and dump and lets be ready whatever the price would be.

We got really close about 1 and a half months back before a bear market hit us hard due to the Chinese government changing its regulations and essentially banning all ICOs and also putting pressure on exchanges to close down.

Now that all this has been settled and price seems to be climbing steadily, $5000 per coin is really no dream for this year.

It's posible for bitcoin to hit 5000+  before this year ends. Bitcoin has alot of posibilities for this year. And as always the market is just going up and down (mostly up).  Bitcoin's is getting more famous also the demand is getting higher.

All FUD is over now. Bitcoin is bullish even after the recent shutdown of few major Chinese exchanges. This shows market is not really concerned now with China's drama. Thus, price will remain bullish in Oct as I don't see negative news coming. Bitcoin can easily touch $5k in Oct itself. Price will reach $7k before the end of the year.

I think the most likely scenario is that it will surpass that mark this year but I wouldn’t bet heavy on it as there are so many things that can affect the price that we can’t know for sure. I guess it already crossed 5k USD . Just before there was a drop in price of Bitcoin, it had crossed 5k USD. Then when China boycotted Bitcoin and JP Morgan called Bitcoin fraud , it fell down to like 3k USD.

Yes one the major factor why price went down in the first place but now with all cleared is quite possible that we will see another break for 5k. Many think that this fork with bitcoin gold will be in some way factor for achiving 5k price but this will be very messy by me. target in this years should be reached for $ 5000 I dont think china end bitcoin at this years , parts of other countries have raised prices to date , I'm waiting for a hard fork breakthrough of bitcoin .

By the end of the year, I think bitkoyn will reach a mark of 5000 USD. And if everything will be fine we will see it at around 6000 in the beginning of the year.

Good to see that it was healthy and back now at $4,340 and I'm still hoping that this will not just be pulled back again any time soon. Are we getting ready for the hard fork? This is probably the reason why the price of bitcoin is pumping. Many traders and whales are now buying some more bitcoins just to make money out of thin air, when this bitcoin gold will be existing for sure there will be another pump.

I really don't know what's the reason but surely we love how the market moves and thinking that 2 or 3 weeks ago the price of bitcoin is just a shade below $3000. Maybe investors are buying more and expect that something like Segwit2x will really push the price to new levels before the end of the year.

Yes, it can reach the 5000 if all goes well with the possible fork in november. Everytime a difficulty is left behind it goes up, and we are not too far from those 5000 either.

What you mean with Segwit2x being accepted smoothly? At current point the 2MB hard fork that is part of the Segwit2x proposal is completely unnecessary. I wouldn't be surprised to see a good number of miners pull back from this agreement before the actual fork date. It's quite a mixture of miners that are in favor of this hard fork, and some that aren't - at worst we'll be seeing a chain split become reality if this hard fork gets initiated. Is that something you consider to be a smoothly accepted SW2X completion? It will do more harm than good.

It seems to me that the price of bitcoin depends on the whales that manipulate it. And if they had not intervened recently, the price would have long grown above 5000

i think bitcoin price is going to hit 5000$ next week or two, and after that it will continue increasing and hopefully that it will reach to 7000$  at the end of this year,in fact the investors are holding their bitcoin even in panic selling and are not ready to sell it. iam sure that bitcoin will continue increasing its price for a long long time and hope that at the end of 2017 the price will cross 7000$.

For sure the one goal only of the bitcoin user is to reach bitcoin price 5k dollars so they continue increase. Let say not all bitcoin user want to see 5k dollars because they want bitcoin dump so they can buy bitcoin at cheap price but most of the percentage of bitcoin user want to see bitcoin price continue to increase so they can earn a lot of money in the future. No questions with regards to the price of bitcoin because their price now in the market was straightly raising up. I was not shocked if some of these days bitcoin value is up to $5000 or either higher than I expected. Also I was less worries with that matter since I was newly in this kind of job I do expect more and more good things happen in the future.

We're making an amazing recovery. I honestly can't believe it. We'll be back to the ATH in a few weeks at this rate. I love how bitcoins are always going up in value until major fud, a big crash, then they always creep up again. That's how you know we're rock solid.

In fact, Bitcoin have almost reached 5000$ weeks before. China banned ICOs and exchanges that made all cryptomarket to fall including Bitcoin. Bitcoin is down from 4800 to 3300 which is a major downfall. And as of this moment, it is again on the 4000-dollar mark, and is continuously increasing. 3 months is still a long way for Bitcoin to reach 5000 before this year end, and I think it is possible especially if the hardfork will be successful.

Chinese exchanges back this month. Bitcoin holders receiving Bitcoin Plus this month too. I just hope that after this month rally we won't be having too much lower dips so we can reach $10,000 within this year.  ;D

More like we have a lot of people who are waiting for that dump so they can buy their lumps of bitcoin. But I think you can say that bitcoin are really stronger unlike any other. Still as you've said, it will never be hitting another ATH, I think this month since there are talks about another fork. I think it will be the November and December that we can see another and out of this world ATH.

Yes it was reached nearly on 5000$ but it was been stop by chinese Fud spreader faggots but luckily price bounce again and maybe this 5000$ price will be reachable and let see if there's another bad news will barricade it since we will became helpless if there is a big issue will came to stop again the rise for second time around.

I don't even think that we will need 3 months here. We've already hit $5000 on some exchanges before so this time round the resistance is going to be greatly lessened. I'd say that it would be probably possible for us to hit $5000 by end of the month.

Plus, markets have stabilized significantly and seems to be generally unmoved by negative news right now. When Korea banned ICOs, we didn't see as big a reaction as we saw with China banning ICOs. In fact, price barely dropped.

Yes, I think it's "safe" to say that bitcoin will reach at least $5000 until the end of this year. Apparently there are rumors from Russia, that they are changing their mind on bitcoin and ICOs, and that a ban on crypto could actually happen, or at least they could try it. It's sad to hear this, since before these rumors, they seem to be welcoming mining activities to their region. If they actually try to ban crypto, this could have an impact on it's price, if they succeed, because it could open the door for others to try and do the same. If they fail, which I think they will, it might also help the price rise. Let's see how this goes.

I believe on that, since other big countries are getting in with crypto world probably it could make it. As we observed now, after a short fall of bitcoin price and now it's back into the track. And it could be a new start, chances to everyone who are in bitcoin community to gained more profit.

Bitcoin is doing well again after all that drama. Now almost everyone is expecting to see bitcoin at that value. But don't know what is going to happen. Segwit version 2 is also expected to happen in the NOV. Maybe we will see a huge bump after that, as it was after the first segwit.

Everyone loves the volatility of bitcoin and if the price was able to make it to $5,000 earlier this year and that's a great event that is about to come. And that's what on my mind too, they are starting to keep on buying in able to make more money from thin air by buying some more bitcoin. $5,000 is really an expectation that is possible to happen on this year and it can doubled next year.

The amount,$5,000 is quite big enough to own something in return and particulary saving or buying bitcoins is true enough to reach the price more than expected to bitcoin. Of couse it will go over 5000 dollars the American's are printing the new fake dollars and it goes down and down every day. Bitcoin is not printing so it goes up. It's really a stupid question if it was real dollars like before then we could debate but with fake dollars and fake eurose they only go in one direction and that is down!!!!

It has a big possibility to reach that value before this year end and i believed in bitcoin, by continuous advertising bitcoin to more people can make the life and value of bitcoin much stronger in the future. And now as we can see after the big dump last month the value of bitcoin was start to climb and nearing to reach the $5000.

It's really big and it's beyond our expectation and what if it will start to become stable on $5,000 and then we are now expecting higher value for the next months. it is true, bitcoin can again hit 5000 usd and even exceed it, and break a new record. now that more and more people are accepting bitcoin and also a lot of countries making bitcoin legal, there is no doubt that bitcoin will rise back and have a new resistance. i think we can now safely say that bitcoin will not take another nosedive this coming months, since a lot of positive news are coming in. even financial institutions like goldman sach gives support to bitcoin, by making their own exchange, the support of japan on 11 exchanges that they endorsed, it should be no surprise that the price of bitcoin will be value over 5000 usd soon, a lot of investors as well might have learned their lesson no to doubt bitcoin, since during the banning of china, a lot of weak hands sodl, and now i think they are all coming back, hopefully no just for the fork, but to invest in bitcoin further. the rise of bitcoin back to 5000 usd should not stop us, we should still strive more, since bitcoin's price might hit 10000 usd by 2018, if the performance will be the same like this year, since it was only predicted to be 2000 usd for 2017,  yet the price is doubled.

we cant totally say it for now that it would reach that value because there still some factors that is affecting bitcoins price like the ones recently happend to china banning bitcoin and exchanges have been shut down by their government because of these crap ico's scamming people .so  i guess the best thing to do is wait on what would happen next to this bitcoin roller coaster.

Bitcoin industry in China is far from over and if Chinese regulatory agency keep attacking bitcoin for the purpose of banning it then we should expect that there is a very serious political reasons behind that, because I see no reason why they should banning cryptocurrency industry. We will surely get to $5000 as all the strong resistance level has been broken except $4650 area. I don't think China effect will affect market mush.

Recently Japan issued regulatory License to the exchanges and very soon US government is also following the Japan. So there is a chance that the price of Bitcoin will reach to 5000$ by the end of the year. I think very soon China will give green signal to the exchange by giving some Regulators to them.

I have no doubt regarding that factors, I always open my mind to the possibilities of increasing bitcoin prices up to $5000. Currently value of bitcoin was $42XX but who knows? before end of this year bitcoin value is reach the $5000 or above. For now I was continue earning bitcoin and holding it because I reserved it for the better value in the future.

We will see as time pass by when your speculation will be true or not but I think the chance of it happening is not that high but is not too low. Bitcoin IMO has tested too many highs already but if it were to go to the speculated price, I would be happy as I sell some portion of my stash by that time. For now, I speculate that it would at least get near 4600$ before the year ends.

2017 is not end yet still need a few month to hit $5000. I think it could be happen considering the currently price of bitcoin is $4,2k and also from day to day bitcoin price keep soaring.

I expect it to be at $5000 by December. We have already been there, so it should not be too hard to get back. The China FUD is over, and we're seeing good news about Bitcoins for a change. There are no speed bumps in sight. We're getting there for sure.

yes it seems that by the end of 2017 it will be a good year-end for bitcoin development even though china is no longer fully in the crypto market, but bitcoin progress will continue to increase as the population of its users grows in various countries, and I am optimistic that by the end of this year bitcoin will reach $ 5000.

I think 5k will be seen before December.  Bitcoin have an incoming upgrade that may set the price to skyrocket, why?  Because it is that foundation of the fix for bitcoin scaling.  From here Bitcoin will start to become bullish because of the fork hype and possibly reach $5000 before mid December.  I might say $6000 is much possible at the end of this year.

I'm not so sure that Bitcoin price will reach 5000$ by the end of the year. At the current situation i think that price could remain between 4000$ - 4500$ for a while. But in general 2017 was excellent year for Bitcoin and with the begininig of the next year I expected further growth of the price and we might reach 6000$.

$5000 has been reached last September. We are currently breaking the $5200 mark this October. Hoping before the fork arrives that price would be around $5000-5500. I'm really excited for the coming year!

That's true but I think investors will either feel rushed because of the up and coming fork with the promise of free coins or they will feel pressured to not invest because of the frequent hard forks

Yeah I just have time now and after seeing the price on preev.com I'm surprised to see bitcoin prices already above $5k, selling some bitcoin now it will not matter and I've gotten a nice profit, I still keep bitcoin in my wallet, because I sure at the end of the year bitcoin prices will be very high.

Probably $6000+ or $7000+ and there's a greater chance that it could that price at the end of the year. After this forks in October and November  the it will going to burst up into the sky hit that prediction price. And those Whales are going on the move so the probability is very high. That's why a lot of people wanted to invest on bitcoin and maybe some of them are starting to invest since last month.

That's probably the best option to go for. It makes no sense for anyone (aside from short term traders) to cash out now, while it's almost certain that this amazing sentiment will continue to drive the market to newer highs a few months away from now. People who usually do end up selling, will eventually buy back their coins, but then at higher levels, which is basically the same as capital destruction. Result is that if you do this long enough, you'll burn through your capital completely eventually, people don't seem to understand that yet.

That's the right thing to do as if you have bought bitcoins at low price in the past then this is the best price to sell some of your coins and grab the profits and rest should be saved for the future as at the end of the year we may see the price which no one thought of as it can even touch the price of $8k by that time so if you are in need of money then sell some of them but make sure that you have some bitcoins left in your wallet for higher profits in future.

I agree with this, selling your bitcoin may seem like a good idea for some but we know that two forks are coming and we know that bitcoin has a tendency to go up after the forks, and if we add that we will get two airdrops in less than a month that we can sell for even more bitcoin then it will be a terrible mistake to sell now, if anything, sell after the second fork and I will only sell my bitcoin to get altcoins which are undervalued and hold them until I get profits.

Bitcoin hit the milestone of 5000 dollars the day before yesterday I guess and today the value has increased to 5700 dollars. I think it will be going above 6000 dollars until the end of 2017 without any problems.

bro it's already over $5700 now. so i think before the end of 2017 bitcoin could reach $6000 since the demand of bitcoin is increasing still and soon it will be broadcast and go to the news so much better if all of us hold our bitcoin in order to get more profit than we ever feel.

Price correction have occur price reduced below 5800 and resistance is big for 6000.
But this is going to happen dont expect to be this weekend but believe if this paste is continued then think that even bigger amount is possible maybe over 7 or 8k bu this year end. We see when price goes up it not few dollars its several hundred, so with this we could expect to see price reach of not even break some very high ones that many didnt believe it could happen.

So our only thing is to accumulate as many as possible and be able to store them, cuz we wont see price going down high at least not in long term.

It is funny this topic was created few days ago and then we ended up having it even before the end of the following month and even soaring higher than the OP had imagined it to be. Some analyst have said we should expect bitcoin's price to get to $10000 before the end of this year and honestly, I won't be surprised one bit if that occurs.

At this point even that amount seems low, we were very close to reach 6000 and I have no doubts we are going to go past that amount after the hard fork and that will still give bitcoin two more months to go up an additional 1000 dollars and when we add the fact there is going to be an additional fork in November then the probabilities that we see bitcoin with an even higher price before the end of the year are very high.

Quoted price point has got surpassed. Now it's time to focus on next levels of price moves. Right now the price expected to be reached is $6000 at the earliest and possibly this might happen before the days to the fork and post fork, depending on the growth $7000 is termed to be the targeted price.

By the time the bitcoin price is pumped up to $4000 I have predicted it may be at the end of the year bitcoin prices will close at $5000, but in fact we can see $5000 even before going into november and I do not understand the exact reason to reveal this increase. Now I'm predicting again maybe $6000 is the value we see at the end of 2017.
