how to implement the protocol zk-SNARKs in bitcoin

Has anyone already thought about this?

I'm looking for developers to work on this idea for money...2000-5000$\month

Zcash is essentially Bitcoin with zSnarks. ZSnarks require a Common-Reference-String which has to be generated by someone and thats there inherent weakness, not an easy problem to solve

It's been mentioned above, but yes Zcash is basically a Bitcoin fork with zk-SNARKs added on top.  So, if you're looking to compete directly with Zcash on their exact use case, good luck!

Their researchers and team are excellent, so you would be better off contributing to that project.  They're in need of a good lite-wallet a la Breadwallet for Bitcoin if you want to drive development of something like that.

Don't worry, no one will ever try to do it. There is such hatred for the snark that anyone even suggesting that we take away from decentralization in a decentralized market would be dragged out and burned in the street. Those coins were coding and thought puzzles for the developers and like every other novelty, some dumb people bought into them and still hang around them today.
