After Satoshi Reveals Himself ! Will Bitcoin Price Jump to $30,000 Dollars ?

What do you think ? If it is good then I must  ask Satoshi to reveal his true identity. A consensus is required because all the bloody Bitcoin community leaders and the impostor of Satoshi are scared of Satoshi Nakamoto.  :o

I don't see why it would... if anything it'd cause people to panic because he supposedly holds so many bitcoins.

Regardless, as many say now a days, bitcoin is in control of itself now. We have a vibrant community that is constantly at work and bitcoin now more resembles a fire that can't be put out more than a network that can be controlled by a single entity.

Satoshi is a novelty, we all want to know his identity yet it doesn't actually matter. He's the Kim Kardashian of the bitcoin world, relevant yet not actually relevant haha. Satoshi's opinion would be important but it wouldn't be held to the same as it was in pre-2011. We all want to know who he is, but his appearance probably wouldn't effect the bitcoin network as many people would expect.

He left for a reason, and his project is going strong without him which was exactly what he desired.

I dont see this happening, satoshi was completely hidden for all these years, he stayed in the shadow since the beginning i do not see any reason why would he reveal himself now or in the near future, he is already holding too much bitcoin, revealing himself wont be of any good to him or to the community. But who knows maybe in the future he will reveal who he really is or if satoshi is not just a person it could be taken from names of people in the group. I am also curious to find out who he really is. For now he is enjoying his life with the amount of bitcoin that he have.

Moses just another trollers account in bitcoin talk, but what the heck with the post that already quoted by me. That just like moses feel so funny to troll someone about the satoshi nakamoto which the topic already discussed many times before. You must get caught by the troller hunter moses.

It could be, it could happen. But do not expect it to happen anytime soon. It may take a little longer to wait for that to happen. Nothing is impossible in this world, let alone dizaman now bitcoin continues to creep up to its popularity.

It would be a bad idea if people know the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. If he dies, it has a big impact in the community and the price of bitcoin might go down. One of the reason why he keeps his identity is for him to live in a virtual world where he became an immortal. 

If Satoshi wanted to reveal himself, he would have done so already. Obviously he felt more comfortable keeping to himself.

Satoshi died over 3-years ago and took his 1million bitcoin with him in his death. It matters not, Bitcoin is headless & powered by incentives.

Bitcoin has freed, continuing to free, and tomorrow will still free many people globally from the centrally controlled debt-based fiat system that confiscates your wealth with inflation and tax. Bitcoin is a TRUE savings vehicle. Buying Real Estate, Hospital healthcare, Global traveling, College Education gets cheaper as you hold Bitcoin.

Central banks already control and manipulate Stocks, Real Estate, Gold, Interest Rates.

Bitcoin reached escape velocity 4-years ago in 2013 which means it cannot be stopped - cannot make it illegal or legal - governments/banks do not matter.

On the opposite end of the spectrum the global fiat (US Dollars, Indian Rupees, Chinese Yuan, etc) bubble system broke a couple of decades ago.

Fiat around the world is forced to inflate issuance as its heavily infested, burdened and broken with:
-regulatory burden on fiat banks & system (incredibly costly)
-unemployment & other welfare costs
-inflating fiat to keep stock market rising and to keep house-prices from collapsing
-financing conflicts, bombs, and "aid"
-insurance fraud
-false claims and insurance loss-events
-stabilize regions after natural disasters
-keeping monopolies with internet access centralized and search engine crawlers centralized
-money laundering
-chargebacks
-frivolous legal costs (lawsuits bogging the system down)
-state-sponsored corruption and unofficial corruption (governments and gangs, banks and conartists)
-retirement obligations (debasement in value to keep up with payments from government or other retirement-obligations)
-fake credit (goods being transacted with credit-loss, replaced by inflation of monetary base rather than bringing perpetrators & source to justice)
-using enforcement labor to freeze accounts and assets and take away your money
-costs of auditors and budgetors and accountants to governments and businesses

Bitcoin, systemically, is free from these burdens.

If someone revealed themselves as Satoshi and proved it:

1. The possibility that Satoshi's million coins are lost forever would be eliminated. They would presumably be eventually spent. This would depress the price of Bitcoin.

2. While he has no formal power, his influence would be significant, so long as he gave sound reasons for his positions. This might help resolve some debates, while potentially leading to some forks from dissidents.

3. He would be at extreme personal risk from every organized crime organization, repressive government trying to control bitcoin, and would-be group of kidnappers. A $5 billion ransom and/or the ability to control the future of bitcoin would be quite the temptation despite the risks.

In short, Satoshi needs to maintain his anonymity if he is still alive.

No. Why would his reveal increase the price anyway? So yeah he's the founder, but so what? The point of decentralization is we do not have to be dependent on a single entity. If I saw news of him revealing himself, I'd probably be like 'Wow, that's awesome', stalk him a bit, then move on.

If anything else, him moving his coins might make the price drop. He supposedly holds around 1 million, which is already around 5% of every Bitcoin that will ever exist. He's going to be a major player with potential to be able to move around the market on his own.

Even if satoshi is still alive or not it is a good thing that he is not revealing himself because lot of things might happen to Bitcoin. I am thinking maybe this is satoshi's plan to let people know he disappeared so that he can ninja cash out some of his Bitcoin without anyone noticing it. If i were him i would do that also, I will not cash out all but will cashout some bitcoin when i needed them or i am out of money.

This people are big player in the industry i believe.  This are the people who can manipulate the price of bitcoin.  If it is true that juat by revealing ones self can increase the value od bitcoins, why is it then that they keep themselves in hiding?? Do you think it is not good  for the  bitcoin to have a high value???

Chill guys, I think this topic sounds new to me in this forum. Satoshi and the price. I may never represents the majority but some may buy more is satoshi show himself and reveal his true identity. No discrimination intended if satoshi is from Japan or US, more investors will come and join. But if this man comes from other country, oh men! No one will care. Just my two satoshi.

I think if Satoshi Nakamoto revealed himself/herself/themselves, it would pretty much have little to no effect in price. Because why would it affect the price? Unless Satoshi is like Bill Gates or Elon Musk I don't think it matters that much. It just depends whatever information he/they give out.

Though if he/they ever reveal himself/themselves, Satoshi would definitely have a huge huge influence over the masses. If ever Satoshi says something along the lines of "X cryptocurrency is now better than bitcoin" or something, definitely expect a huge price swing, even though technically Satoshi doesn't have any authority over bitcoin even though Satoshi is the inventor.

There are two Satoshi Nakamoto. One is real Satoshi Nakamoto and the other is an impostor Satoshi Nakamoto. Which Satoshi do you people want to know ?  I know both of them. Governments, or any other mafia group is not looking for Satoshi Nakamoto. The real Satoshi Nakamoto is not hiding with one Million Bitcoin. There are no reasons for him to hide. The impostor Satoshi is an AI, who  has robbed and hijacked the Bitcoin and Blockchain project from the real Satoshi Nakamoto. Therefore you people need to decide which Satoshi Nakamoto are you looking for to know his real identity ?

I dont think so, only those who are very introduced in bitcoin knows who satoshi nakamoto is, but if you ask someone about "satoshi nakamoto" he will only put a weird face asking you what the fuck are you asking him. It is easy, it wont have an effect on the market as long as his reveal does not brings any news about bitcoin, or how it is going to be in the next years.

Satoshi is a low profile person and it's a challenging task to persuade him to reveal himself to the public.

Anyhow, it would certainly help to boost the Bitcoin's price, if he changes his mind in near future...

I don't think satoshi will ever come back to the bitcoin development why? Because he already said it in this forum and formally leaving the bitcoin development to Gavin and if satoshi will come back he will not reveal himself for the sake of security he want his anonimity at the highest so stop dreaming that he will come back.

I don't see the relevance of the increase in the price of bitcoin to the appearance of Satoshi as that would even plunge the price further because it will then send a message that bitcoin might not really anonymous if Satoshi is back and the moment that happens, it then mean the confidence level will drop which is tantamount to price crashing.
