Title: crypto currency discussion
Post by: emmagloor on October 01, 2017, 05:13:55 AM
So everybody is wanting to get to cryptocurrency lately, planning to start a conversation
Everybody knows about Bit-coin and Ethereium the very best 2 coins at this time available on the marketplace
BTC is declining rapidly this week so I'm looking to Purchase in this ditch and hold until it 2-3x in value
I see ETH becoming huge in the long run and will also invest on this trusting it 5-10x in value

Thinking rightnow 50 percent btc, 30% ETH, 20% to alt currencies
Lets open some discussions / debate/ assistance/ strategies

Ok, first...can you please spell them correctly?

It's Bitcoin. It's Ethereum. It's not however you spelled them, as creative as they may be.

Bitcoin is not declining this week, let alone declining rapidly. Bitcoin has been on a surge this week!

I see ETH becoming huge in the long run too, but it needs to get past the irrational excuberance of the ICO market. There needs to be real applications of ETH's blockchain for the value of ether to take off.

SO what's your "thinking rightnow" comment? Is that growth projections? Is that an investment allocation strategy?

So everybody is wanting to get to cryptocurrency lately,
what do you mean everybody? cryptocurrency is general is unknown to people specially altcoins. bitcoin is also known to very small number of people!

Quote

* it is bitcoin not Bit-coin
* there is nothing "best" or remotely good about ethereum anymore. it was good only when it was still early and it was getting pumped and it was only good to traders. now the only bagholders call it "best"

Quote
BTC is declining rapidly this week
you either don't know what "decline" means or you don't know what "this week" means.
1 week ago price was ~$3500 and now it is ~$4300! do you call this a decline?

or maybe you are looking at ETH chart and think it is BTC chart!!!

Quote
so I'm looking to Purchase in this ditch and hold until it 2-3x in value
it is called dip not ditch. and for bitcoin the dip was $3000 which you should have bought in and you are already too late. and a 2x-3x rise for bitcoin takes time since the rise is slower and solid

for ETH it is highly risky because a 2x-3x rise needs a pump and ETH is already over-pumped and in a big bubble.

if you really "see" that then invest.
i see ETH declining and going back down to $10 in long term.

Crypto coins are gaining much more attraction these days than ever before. Afterall, the price of BTC is rising day-by-day just because the demand is increasing. Almost everyone who is having an internet connection in this world, knows about cryptocurrencies.

@OP, Check out the previous charts of BTC, ETH or any alt you want to invest and then come to your final decision. Don't invest something which you can't afford to loose. There is no guarentee that you will end up getting 2x-10x profit. Rest is upto you. Good luck!

A cryptocurrency is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange using cryptography to secure the transactions and to control the creation of additional units of the currency.Cryptocurrencies are classified as a subset of digital currencies and are also classified as a subset of alternative currencies and virtual currencies.Bitcoin became the first decentralized cryptocurrency in 2009.Since then, numerous cryptocurrencies have been created. These are frequently called altcoins, as a blend of bitcoin alternative. Bitcoin and its derivatives use decentralized control. as opposed to centralized electronic money/centralized banking systems.the decentralized control is related to the use of bitcoin's blockchain transaction database in the role of a distributed ledger.

You wouldn't exactly be able to derive maximum profits from investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum unless you're looking at long term profits. Just look around the altcoin market and you will find multiple coins going beyond 10x in very short time spans from its begining. Then again, it's riskier compared to the likes of BTC and ETH.

Yes its been a long time anticipating to change the world currency in order to attain all services in one (a complete package). I think his bitcoin will dominate the world and soon will be part of every country's transaction.

Everyone has their own views about how the market will perform and how their favourite coin will perform. Overall the top coins will continue to rise but may have short-term dips.

A cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual currency that uses cryptography for security. A cryptocurrency is difficult to counterfeit because of this security feature. A defining feature of a cryptocurrency, and arguably its most endearing allure, is its organic nature; it is not issued by any central authority, rendering it theoretically immune to government interference or manipulation.

so now almost all altcoin prices have decreased significantly, but certainly to be more selective in buying altcoins for long-term or short-term investments, because I believe there will be big pumps on the rise of altcoin prices in the market

One upcoming coin caught my eye and their business plan is promising. Check Propthereum.io, they are an asset backed coin and are expecting great coin appreciation in a short period of time.  Proceeds from their ICO will be used to buy A-grade property worldwide which will generate rental income.

They also have pre-ICO token sale on November 10, 2017 at 12PM GMT

I like bitcoin and eth as investment tool. Recently i think etherium can not be reach 5x-10x value. As i see it always just stuck on that price. Not much moving in price. So eth is hug coin but can not like btc in value.

People's knowledge on bitcoin/cryptocurrency will always depend on how they understand the whole concept. As for me, I tell them about how I understand it and then refer them to a link that will back-up my explanation and for them to also explore and get to know the concept easier. A lot of cryptocurrency are now emerging and the originals are bitcoin. And it is never too late to invest. One of the best is Ethereum! It has proved to be the best as well in terms of security and value and that is Ethereum. You may check this link for more information: www.propthereum.io

To cut to the chase, I suggest the following mix:

Bitcoin - 40%
Ether - 30%
Monero - 10%
4 Tokens (Jibrel, Nucleus Vision, Luxcess, Naga) - 5% Each

I put 10% in Monero becasue it's really taking off, and it's private, which appeals to a lot of people, so I think the user base will grow.

You probably want to understand why I picked these four tokens? well Jibrel is just a fantastic idea and so is Nucleus Vision (They've got Tim Draper & Ian Balina on the advisory boards), Luxcess has some serious backing and is rated highly, while Naga is my personal wild card :)

Nucleus Vision has Ian Balina on board? That's pretty big, man. People treat his twitter feed like a religious document. How did they manage that? I mean, I've heard of Jibrel, but Nucleus Vision is relatively unknown to me, and now I hear that they've got huge investors on board? XD I mean, I think their retail cryptocurrency + IoT project is great, but how come they haven't invested much in marketing?

Well, with Nucleus Vision, their presale is for private investors and they have a proper token sale coming up in Q1FY18, so maybe they're looking fore a small high-value group of investors? I'm not certain, but I agree that their project is pretty sound, and wouldn't be surprised if they make ETH surge big time next year.

Bitcoins are not declining at the moment, it is actually rising in value as we speak. It’s also expected that owing to btc more cryptocurrencies have appeared.
