Title: Bitcoin Exchange to Western Union
Post by: Tabaza on June 01, 2013, 04:10:35 AM
Hello,

i am finding it difficult to find a exchanger that accept bitcoins and send western union without asking for passport copies and utility bills.
it is like you are dealing with a court!

i dont accept sending such private documents over internet. is there a way where i send bitcoins and get western union without IDs and phone verifications?

Check out localbitcoins.com to find local people that buy and sell bitcoins.

Edit: I understand now: "and send western union" means "send me cash via western union".

Here is a list of exhanges: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Category:Exchanges

Also bitcoin-otc is an over-the-counter marketplace located in various IRC channels on the freenode IRC network. Take a look here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin-otc

I think that will be hard. By the way, why do you need WU when you already have BTC?

I think it's depends on where and whom you need to send the btc. You can ask the other side to open a btc wallet or account, then you can send your btc to that person.

Because WU is cash and can be done in 10 mins. and BTC funds are virtual nothing in HAND

the problem is I am from Middle East and they don't know Bitcoin maybe only very few. so no local sellers/buyers.

also, I tried to withdraw from mtgox and Bips. and submitted all verifications needed. 7 days passed and still "Pending"

that's why I planned to find a fast solution to pass these delays

Hi Tabaza,

I would really like to know how you managed to do that in the end since I am in a similar situation. I need a Bank deposit or Western Union transfer to Dubai.

I found people in bitcoin-otc IRC, who bought bitcoins from me and sent payment to Dubai.

note: only deal with people with high ratings or go with escrow.

Most people know that but thanks for a reminder to the newbies who sometimes have no common sense.
