what kind of PSU need 2 x HD 7970 ? how many watts ?  ???

650-750W minimum, just to be on a safe side.

SeaSonic 1000W or 1250W.

You may wish to add more cards later.

I've got a Corsair AX860i running 2 7950s and a 7850 with about 150 watts to spare at around 94% efficiency. Pretty nice PSU and you can use the Corsair software to see how much energy you are using and how efficient it's running (but it has to be the AX860i to be able to use the software, not the regular AX version PSU). I wish I would have gotten a more potent version however because like Geode said above I'll probably want to put another card on my board and then I'll be over the limit.

Ive got an Antec 650W PSU chugging along just fine..

750 if u want to be safe with over clocks or peripherals.
You can do 650 bare bones though.

850w should be the minimum requirement, go for the +GOLD
