The gas you earn is actually worth a substantial amount and each neo share can generate 1 gas. That one I'm just holding for fun and the experience of Staking. Something like 300% so far.

I have been running a masternode there for about 2 weeks and between the masternode and staking, I am earning somewhere between 9-15 XIOS a day which I think is a pretty great return. The price is cheap right now and I am hopeful it can make some moves in the next few months.
