Title: October/November Best ICOs
Post by: kevinnmr on October 03, 2017, 10:14:10 AM
Creating this new topic to ask the community what we should consider in October. Barring Red Pulse and Wanchain which are actually September ICos delayed till early October beacuse of the china FUD.
What are the best ICOs in October/November. Trying to sift the millions of popup rubbish ICOs. There seems to be 10 icos a day at the moment. Please list your top3/5. So i can go research and read them.
My preferential ICO's are platforms like powerledger or wanchains. Are there any coming soon? Something to build upon. Thank you

I do not think the ICO investment is the best now as a series of countries like the Republic of Korea ban ICO. I made a lot of money from the ICO which made the traders become quite interested in this type but I also did not less than 2 times the fraud ico because coin release was not put on the trading floor So you should know about these types of tokens before making your decision

I don't buy into ICOs.

Yeah, in my last few encounters with ICO purchases, I have found that price of tokens drop from ICO rate once they land on exchanges. They do rise but only after some time. So instead of buying tokens in ICO, it is better to wait till the ICO ends and procure some cheap tokens from EtherDelta or other quick listers from weak hands.

Not sure if you are also counting the ones that started in September, but run until October, but if that is the case I would say Electroneum (first ICO I ever invest in or participate in campaigns).
Another ICO that started today is Enjin Coin, 78.6% of their coins have already been sold, so there won't be much time left to invest in it.
I was also looking at Unikoin, but have not decided if I should invest or not.

Have a look at Enjin coin. It's a crowdsale luanched by an existing company.
This doesn't mean that the coin will have great success but at least it starts from more solid basis.

Choosing ICO I would prefer to  do my own research rather than rely on the  advices.  Especially attention should be paid  to Ethereum based ICOs as they have become a honey pot for hackers and scammers.

I'm looking at cobinhood...Although not an ico anymore as they're already listed. Someone said exchanges are poupular but there are so many of them...Binance is killing everyone else...If cobinhood get as popular as binance..
Binance (150m market cap 100m supply), assumption. Cobinhood (circulating supply 300m (they're at almost 200m now with a few weeks to go) 0.058 a cob that makes it 17.4m if 250m supply 14.5 cap) seems cheap to me..with 250m supply almost a tenth of binance coin

in my opinion, all ICOs have their respective advantages, but I recommend flixxo ICO as it is a "community based video distribution". I'm sure, flixxo is one of the good ICO's this month.

I'm quite concerned that at least good half of the projects listed for the upcoming ICO are not being very descriptive in regards to the tech side and have no clue how to develop their platforms/services/AI algorithms yet... I'd expect companies focusing on technology to share way more details, e.g. like AirToken did.

CREDITS delivers what you want in their technical whitepaper. I wonder why they are not somewhere in the centre spot of attention on this forum. Must be the lack of shiny graphics and pumped up emotion. They are working on a very fundamental level. You can navigate to their website through my signature. They deserve more attention than they are getting at this moment.

Is this topic in the right thread? I guess this should be moved to Altcoin Discussion. Anyway, I did join a handful of ICOs. A little of those I really waited for a considerable amount of time before I got my hands on the return. But so far I am happy in my ICO investments. Or perhaps I was just lucky. Try to consider GUTS ICO in November. I went over this project that is why I am promoting and joining them.

If you truly want to invest in ICOs, you would not want to consider the options or opinions of people here as some will gladly just say something to at least contribute to receive a bounty reward from their signatures.

For anyone looking for a good ICO or if you really want to offer some help from your own analysis or research, I believe you can share some of your own ideas here. However, I expect that every investor should make due diligence on any ICO they want to be a part of.

Totally agreed! This thread just leave marketing space for various ICO project, or ICO evaluation project(Sorry, I do think most of evaluation are useless or suspicious)
It maybe useful to define several indicators by yourself. For instance, you can easily find hot rate by telegram/slack user number.
Or do some deep investigation on several project, and you got a whole view and have your own confidence.

At this stage, I suggest everyone hold your tokens and invest only when you'r really convinced.

totaly agree, but one can find way to search relable projects.
Personaly I do prefer those I understand and where I can really become user. For example: I wont invest into Universa, it is just one more ethereum killer, on the other hand Confideal can be ICO I'll believe — it can be used by any person even he never heard about crypto before. Great choice as for me.
Any product that can decrease taxes deserves to live imho

I also believe that project that can effect offline economy are more reliable and has big future. We all have admit that world economy will change soon if ICO wont be banned. So Confideal (contacts), Atlant (buildings), ADEX so on.

I have formed my top project I truly believe.

Upfiring - P2P file-sharing. In my opinion really strong team and ambitious start. Solid project overall.

EnjinCoin - Cryptocurrency for gamers, a huge market. Very nice site, support etc. For sure there is a plenty of gamer-oriented project but this nice one.

Confideal – It is just smart contract builder. Everyone in our community seeks to use smart contracts whenever possible. Holding an ICO? Outsourcing? Wanna renting a car. This will work.

Grid+ - leverages the Ethereum blockchain to give consumers direct access to wholesale energy markets. This decreases costs, shifts production closer to demand. Do I get for 100% - nope but me collegue told that is one of the best choices this month.

If you have any additional ideas about these ICOs, please kindly comment!

Thank you
for the past few months there are indeed so many ICOs, so we are dizzy to choose a good ICO and who will succeed.
I think some good ICOs this month are: Electroneum, powerledger, cartaxi, EthBooks, and some other ICOs.
to know the quality of a project I suggest you to read the ANN and ICO website you choose

I read some news today morning that confidial is the future of international trade and good for investment. Did you heard something about it?
Probably you can also look at SONM, Centra, Eidoo these are going to make an impact in a month or two.
I'd like to be into all the upcoming ICOs but it is the task for someone from Marvel team. ICOboy probably.
Well night just started so there is plenty of time to research. Thx bro
Not sure If Confi will really become big shot but I'll keep my eye on them

This month my choice is Confideal! it's quite young and new platform. It enables users with no coding skills to create an enforceable, self-executing and secure digital agreement powered by Ethereum for all types of transactions.

There are plenty of sites listing running/upcoming ICO-s. Just to name some:

https://icostats.com/
https://tokenmarket.net/ico-calendar/upcoming

the more problematic is to select ones that deserve attention. I recommend make your own decisions rather than blindly follow the crowd. In general something that brings new ideas/technology/platform worth investing.

Too many ICOs nowadays, it got a lot of attention due to the easy process of gathering a lot of money because of the greedy BTT users.  Too manny shit projects with the hope of returning a quick 2-3x profit without any innovation.

Stay out of the ICO train, and wait for some real project.

In recent years, big countries such as Korea and Korea have repeatedly issued ICO bans, so I have not believed in this market. ICO is a pretty lucrative market for those who want to increase their accounts. It's fast, but there are a lot of people who lose money on it because of the high fraud rates, so big countries have put out bans. But if you want to hunt for ICOs then you must have a pretty big knowledge of this market. I just came here and learn what to hunt for a good ICO

Try to google for ICO websites, telegram and twitter accounts are also usefull to find some new ICO's with high potential. Recently we had some good ones..like ICON, Wanchain, Red Pulse. Upcoming I would say:

-Request Network
-Mercury protocol

Imo they score pretty well, but if you invest don't put all your money on these projects.

A lot of them are pure garbage. Choose wisely! Here is my list:

1. Eidoo- An Italian group of people based in Switzerland created this project that envisioned a block-to-human interface. Ongoing ICO. Gathered 81,000 ETH as of this writing.

2. Valus- A project aiming to connect trademarks, retailers, and customers on blockchain. ICO will start in a couple of hours as of this writing.

3. EventChain- I am putting this last for a reason. But I admire this project because the American fans of concerts and sports events are a huge market for crypto ticketing industry. Ongoing ICO. Phase 3, the final round, is ongoing.

TEZOS ICO is already finished...
EOS ICO in a middle...
Universa ICO will start 28.10...

ICO = Initial Coin Offering.

You can buy coins/tokens before they are on the markets. Problem is, some of them never reach markets - devs take the invested money and disappear or the coin never has any value.

Some coins are good, but you never know before they hit the markets if they will be valuable. Very high risk.

I found ICO alert (https://www.icoalert.com/) pretty useful for finding ICOs including those that are not ethereum based. Though, searching through it can feel like searching for gold in the middle of the dump. I don't think that there's anything about ERC tokens that make them inherently scammy, it's just the lower level of effort required versus building your own platform which likely attracts the bad apples.

For me it's funny when people say that ICO is a gambling and a high risk investment. It's is only if you do not do your home work before investment. You must know the question, never invest to something you do not know.
I know that some people invest to 10-20 ICO projects or coins at the same time. It's a real gambling because one person just can be that smart to know everything they must know about so many different projects or coins.

I invest only to something I'm abcolutely (well, there is no absolute in this world, so let's say 95%) sure about.

Now I invest to:

1) Babanacoin. They are real. They have a plantation already, they have same business for years already + I personally know people involved in the project. You should not expect 10X growth of the tokens, but you can be sure that you invest in the real profitable business.
2) ARTokens. My close friend is in AR/VR industry and he investigated the project a lot! The developers are building a really usefull platform that will become popular because people need that! Plus the developer is a leader of the industry, not some start up...

I can't say that I suggest to invest to this projects. I just say that you should do your homework instead of asking someone for advice. Do not gamble - invest to something you know about and belive!

I reviewed lots of [ANN] threads out there, and it's really dissapointing that most of projects are very similar: basicly wallets and trading platforms. I also think that project should already have at least somewhat functional product, otherwise I definetly would not invest in ideas which arent innovative or interesting. However there definetly are some worth looking up. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2261446.0 looks really promising with high quality whitepaper.

Thank you
if u want big ico i suggest ico that is on my signature, they grow up big and of course this will add advantage to you if join ;)

I hope you do not feel sorry my friend. Among the projects so far there is a reason you  really hope to choose him. Two projects I think Ripio and Quantstamp will really be successful. Especially Quantstamp is coming out as a project that everyone needs. if you can learn the information about what they really are going to do, you will understand what I mean.Of course I give investment advice :) Normally I would say that I did not offer investment advice at the end of this kind of talk but things are different this time. I am definitely giving investment advice. go and check " quantstamp telegram channel". you look the reality.

The ICO's in which I have recently invested:

Domraider.io (http://Domraider.io) (DRT)
This ICO has a great potential! The team is professional and working very hard.

Etherparty.io (http://Etherparty.io) (FUEL)
Again, the team is very professional and they have attractive website :P.

Atlant.io (http://Atlant.io) (ATL)
I found a lot of good reviews about Atlant.IO! Some people are arguing that the team doesn't have much experience in real estate but still I believe that investing a few bucks is not a bad deal.

LATOKEN.com (http://LATOKEN.com) (LA)
Doesn't know much about this ICO, but still invested a few dollars as my friend referred it to me.

One more thing, there are a few coins similar to BitCoin are going to launch by the end of the OCT and I'll be keeping eye on them...

Btcgpu.org (http://Btcgpu.org) BitCoin Gold
BTC Gold is in the news these days and they have just launched their website! I was checking their website and found a lot of mistakes on their website mainly the blog post: "After weeks of hard work we have just finished and updated our site, so you, all of our supporters can have all the information needed about Bitcoin Gold..."

BitCore.cc (http://BitCore.cc) BitCoin Core
This is an interesting project plus the team is really active on social media and bitcointalk.org! I'll be surely buying a few coins at early stage of the coin launched.

I agree - loads of similar rubbish projects with low level teams. The sectors that promise the most such as healthcare, recycling and energy are underrepresented.

Amazing how the first real European Energy project just launched:

https://tokenmarket.net/blockchain/ethereum/assets/prosume/

One would expect the energy sector which is pretty much the largest sector out there to be the main place - but instead most ICOs are focussing on the same things - clearly only out to raise the quick money with rubbish advertising.

I understand that there you need quality people to do real  things in something such as energy, and maybe Prosume could be on of them considering they have a real team, with Ernst and Young Advisors, Sovereign Wealth Fund Advisor and both blockchain and energy specialists.

Genesis Vision: Genesis Vision is the platform for the private trust management market, built on blockchain technology and smart
contracts. We unite exchanges, brokers, traders, and investors into a decentralized, open and fair network, making
the financial market even more global. This will allow successful traders to rapidly scale their trading strategies by
attracting investments from around the world. The smart contract technology that underlies the platform will
provide an automated and absolutely transparent system for investment and profit distribution.
The Genesis Vision platform is the solution for the most crucial industry problems, such as limitedness due to the
lack of information, lack of transparency and, consequently, lack of trust.
Fundraising and the use of GVT (Genesis Vision Token) will help to finance product development, marketing and
advertising for the development of the platform. GVT is an internal currency of Genesis Vision platform and will be
used for all investment operations and profit distributions.

ARToken: In the Cappasity AR/VR ecosystem marketplace, content makers and content users from all over the world meet each other’s needs. The ART decentralized billing system is capable of handling a large number of microtransactions and will be secured by well-designed smart contracts.

For me it is interesting project, but:
 1) they have no working platform (anonce it only in 2018)
 2) to many ICO have concept projects for videogames market, and I don't see some reasons why this project better then other, mb just they have partnership with big East investors...

why do you think that this project will shoot?

One have to get very very picky with ICOs these days, given the current market situation that many ICOs got dumped after exchange listed and go well below ICO price, just have a look at tokendata.io. I did notice some interesting ones though e.g. spectre ai trading and oyster (in my signature) and gonetwork.

I personally think milkcoin ICO will be a success. Its actually a real agricultural project integrated  with blockchain technology just like banana coin. I am planning to invest some in milkcoin ICO. Hydrominer is also a good ICO. Next ICO what I personally think which will fetch profit for the investors is Bitindia ICO. Its nothing but a bitcoin and altcoin exchange platform for Indian cryptocurrency users.

Every ICO investors will think that they can make the profit for the any newly introduced ICO. However there are many cheated people in the market and you may notice that China and Korea stopped accepting bitcoin and ICO because ICO scams. You please be careful about the investing to ICO before you get inside the white paper and blog reading.

I don't have a big list, but I certainly have 2-3 projects in mind. One of them is StormX project, which is backed by Bittrex CEO, Jaxx, Bancor, Zencash etc. There ICO will happen on 7th November. Do keep an eye on it. You can check it out here: stormtoken.com. And second is Indahash, whose pre-ICo will happen on November 8th as well.

There are a lot of good ICOs, but I follow the CHEX project, I'm quite excited about this project, it's about marijuana and another project I'm involved with is the Worldcore signature campaign. The potential of the two projects that I am paying attention to and will invest in it.

Every ICO always has a community that is always connected with the developer. Investors will feel comfortable when he is always connected with the team behind the project. I think you should check out the HUT34 community and understand the ins and outs of the project being worked on. Click the signature that I use, for contact information

My choice for the next upcoming ICO is Confideal.
Blockchain smart-contract tothemoon project.

I watched lots of statements and even streams with their coders — this influenced on me greatly.

I've been promoting WCX (wcex.co) numerous times before since a few months ago and right now I would still recommend them because they already have a working product. You can try their beta exchange and evaluate whether they're worthy of investment.

A new promising ICO that I recently discovered is WAX Token (https://www.waxtoken.com/) brought by OPSkins CEO. OPSkins is the pioneer and biggest Steam items marketplace. Their site is effectively a money making machine right now. Although I don't like the fact that they're making an ICO, it's still to big to ignore. They have an ambitious goal to integrate the virtual item marketplace, but I think it's a feasible target considering how big OPSkins is on the virtual item industry.

Thank you

bitclave is the best ico. this ico is next generation of data privacy. you have right control over who had using your wallet. ammbr is also one of the best ico. this ico has great security. wabi, silentnotary, follow coin, dragon chain and money tree is the best wallets for using. so once you have to try and use this  ico. they have really good adventages for this ico's.

I dig the Neufund ICO  :o. They are establishing a legal structure for ICOs. Companies can get crypto funding and investors get back real legal equity.

In addition to this they have a different approach to their own ICO. The risk is very limited since you can retrieve your ICO investment at any time w/ a processing fee of 10% or the full 100% after 1,5 years.   :)

What I like most here is the business model for investors. On one hand, as a NEU holder you earn with every transaction on the platform. On the other hand, you own a growing equity portfolio build with shares of each company that gets funding via Neufund.

You can check out the announcement thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2335433.0

Or the website: https://commit.neufund.org/

1. Credits.com
2. OSWiseplat.org

Both are coming up with different and interesting solutions on a fundamental level for problems that are experienced with Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I have now turned to investing in ICOs, of course also comes with some risks, but it is VERY important to do big research of the projects before making an investment, ask yourself a question : Do I really truly believe in this project?, read whitepaper, watch explanatory video, which I do every time.
Anyone have any ideas how to search for new ICOs?
Since I don't have that much knowledge myself, I tend to trust the experts and visit sites like
http://icobench.com suggests these ones at the moment (highest ranks):
FluzFluz
Your premier seat on top of the global consumer network - earn passive income everytime others shop.
Publica
Blockchain revolution for the publishing economy.

I've also came across both FluzFluz and Publica. For me FluzFluz was better, it suited my needs more than Publica.

this project is like a real deception and a fake. developers constantly change dates and hide their team.
also a 10$ rewards for free registration - a clear sign of a big trap!
