How do you think: when the price of the BTC will be equal to $10K?    ;D

How many coins and in what cryptocurrency would you bet on your forecast?     ::)

If I had to predict I would say sometime in early 2018. The price of Bitcoin still has a lot of room to fluctuate this year over media mentions. I think once the mainstream starts adopting BTC into banks, ecommerce, services, etc is when we will see Bitcoin price really go up past $10,000.

The ironic thing is that most people are looking at Bitcoin as an investment rather than a currency, so if you just hold on it, Bitcoins should be the greatest investment you ever make.

How many coins would be the bet on the forecast?

I predict until the final of 2018 Bitcoin will be equal to $10.000. Right now things are not clarified with China and also different popular rumors are influencing bad the price.
There was news that big companies like Amazon will accept Bitcoin as payment method. If that is going to happen the price of bitcoin will explode.

Once the uncertainty about the hard fork in November resolves and if everything works out fine after that, I guess, the BTC price will rise even higher. I'd guess 6-7k at the end of the year, 10k sometime next year. Let's see, what happens.

It might never get there, you can't REALLY predict the future.
But if it goes as it went until this point, I'd say somewhere mid-late 2018 :)

My guess would be somewhere around July, 2018 at the earliest.... no one can really tell you with certainty when BTC will be worth any specific value but that is my guess

As of now the price of bitcoin is 4300 dollars and I hope it will continue to increase so we can make a lot of profit in the future. Maybe it will happen this year but 50 percent only it will happen that or for sure it will happen in the year of 2018 or 2019 and for sure we will see the price of bitcoin become 10k dollars and if that happen for sure bitcoin world become happy for that because they can earn more profit.

That's not gonna happen anytime soon. All the people who are commenting saying that it will happen in early, mid or late 2018.. will you please explain your predictions ?

Until the beginning of August the price was below $3000 and it was normal. In the first week we saw the spike which continued on and on until today

Keep in mind that the price dipped a lot during that month because of Chain ICOs and other rumors which as usual are spread from time to time. The price getting back up to the $4k range without China in the game is a huge thing. I don't think it can actually go up anymore except something big happens.

Like more hype is created as the one when Japan announced that it recognized btc. Something that big need to happen. Expecting double the price in a few months just out of nothing ? No not gonna happen.

I don’t go betting because I’m not a gambler,, so i will just go to my opinion/my speculation.. I think 10000$ is only achievable on August 2018 or before the end of that year.. I can’t foresee a much earlier but if it happens why not.. It might be good as well.. Everything is so unpredictable when it comes to cryptocurrency but I still insist it will increase and not decreasing..

But I have to agree that a lot of adoptions are being made for bitcoin and it's not far from being mainstream. It's becoming more and more popular and I've been seeing a lot of advertisements on cryptocurrencies. Also, the mainstream media has been giving more attention to it.

Most did not expect bitcoin to be the price as it is now, so I guess we can never tell what the future holds for the bitcoin price. For me, I think around mid or end of 2018, it would be possible for bitcoin to hit 10K.

When? Does it make sense in your opinion to predict about the future price of bitcoin? no one know about that. It seems the bitcoin takes a lot of time to equal with 10k dollar for each bitcoin. Mass adoption is a must to attract the more people to buy the bitcoin.

You have a point and i feel that there is a big  event will happen in following year.. since there are lots of speculation there and their speculating that bitcoin could be touch at 6k before end october or this year..
So next year bitcoin price can be touch in 10k value or nearly..
Everything in bitcoin could be possible as you can seen what is the movement of the price from the past years. You can notice that the growing of bitcoin is increase and popularity of users are also increased that can bitcoin more in demand. that can bitcoin will be increase little bit. .

it's hard to predict the bitcoin price is therefore up and down, but according to my prediction the bitcoin price will reach $ 10k when 2019. I have prepared some coins that I see bright in the future with bitcoin so I will bet everything for 2019.

Indeed it's so difficult to predict to exact and accurate on a bitcoin price, i can only guessed for that. I think bitcoin price will reach $10k maybe in mid 2018 or late 2018, Less sure but hoping what i thought it's right later.

I'd say that $10k will happen somewhere between 2020-2021.

I actually think that there may be a massive bear market from 2018 onwards that pushes bitcoin price down, before people hyping about the next halving once again in 2020. I think that the hype for another halving should be strong enough to push bitcoin over $10k quite easily.

Probably not going to be this year or in this decade actually.

But i believe that we have a good chance of achieving a 5 digit figure bitcoin in 2020, because there is a halving and there is a Tokyo olympics with a government that recently have changed their laws to legalize bitcoin.

I've sold half of my btc because i'm afraid of price flash crashing, but the other half i'm going to hold for at least 5 years.

the biggest reason we got this because of the halving,every miners will not get any profit from it if the price is not increasing.
which mean when is the best time for us to see it ?
of course when the next halving comes,
(it can be happen if we do not hear anything or major change happen with cryptoland)
so when the next halving time comes,we should see the rewards decreasing and with that the price should be increasing to maintain the miners.
if they stop it,cryptoland will collapse.

based on the trend of the past couple of years and looking at some charts if nothing changes and this trend continues, we can see $10,000 by the end of 2018 and that would be a simple 2x rise which is based on the current trend.

why would I want to bet anything! the money that I am supposed to bet i'll simply invest in bitcoin and get more profit.

Definitely! Why risk when we know an easy way,just save now and earn in long term, just believe that btc can and if they don't then let them regret in the next future.

When people make predictions about the price of bitcoin they focus on past performance. Where did you get the confidence that nothing will change? Actually nobody knows who is pumping bitcoin lot of money, and how long they will do it. The cryptocurrency market is too difficult to predict.

I think $10k is possible by end of next year but can't predict the exact date when it will touch that level. $5k+ seems possible by end of this year and $5000 might work as floor for 2018.

I will say between September to October of 2018, price will be over $10k.  ;) I am being over optimistic lol

I guess it will take another 2 or 3 years before we can see Bitcoin at 10k USD.  The adoption and market saturation is not  mature enough to support such high price of bitcoin.  Aside from that we should also consider the resistance and FUD of people who wanted to get Bitcoin at cheapest possible price.  So with this I guess price will not double in just one year from this time to the end of next year.

That is pretty far according to me bro. I see that bitcoin this year with the enormous growth so we don't need to wait till that much long. Even Japan and India adopted bitcoin as legal money. So we can expect bitcoin's value to be 10k next year also. It's nothing amazing bitcoin to expect that much early because adoption rate more every day.

The issue with China is already over. We saw how it affected the market and how quickly it recovered to almost its initial stage. Japan now took over the trading volume. And bitcoin once again proved that it is a global currency and no country can control it.
We will see more fluctuations and volatility in the upcoming days though.

$10k will be another purely psychological barrier, not really changing anything in the grand scheme of things.
The better question should be - "when we will have BTC strong enough to not worry about price of BTC in dollars"
or "when we will be able to buy anything directly with Bitcoin"?

We will probably reach $10k/1BTC exchange rate in the future, when? No one will tell you that, we can only guess.

For every prediction of bitcoin to reach $10,000 in no distance time to me is just a mere assumption which may happen and may not happen. In my own opinion, it will take mass adoption of bitcoin or something extraordinary will need to happen in favour of bitcoin before such a height in value could be reached in time to come. 

For the bitcoin price of $ 10,000 that possibility will remain if the bitcoin user population reaches 25% of the world's population by using bitcoin for various payment transactions and for business transactions. But I believe with the progress of bitcoin that keeps increasing so that the price will be achieved in the future.

$10k is really a huge margin compared to what we have and seem not kind of feasible unless there is just one huge development that would end up ushering in a huge rush. However, for now and the look of things, I will rather say $6,000 to $7,000 still looks much realistic by the end of the year. But like I said, we really cannot say cause bitcoin usually come with huge surprises.

by looking at this current movement I can say that it might be correct we will be able to see the value reaching 6k-7k $ before the year ends or in the mid of first quarter, I can say that this incoming fork will be the possible deciding factors if after this and the value still rising for sure we will see 10k$ as a possible

The margin might be big, but its quite achievable, but not likely in near future. $6000 margin is no doubt pretty much possible, but again $7000 within this year might be tough due to the coming fork, though not impossible. More stability among the countries and controlled market would lead to $10000 margin sooner, but still I believe not before atleast Q4 of 2018 or Q2 2019. But as its quite unpredictable, anything can happen, but as of now it indicates that time frame.

Though I have been speculating that bitcoin will get to$10,000 before  the end of this year but the way things are going we may not be able to get there before the end of this year. I do believe that we have alot of ways to go in our journey to $10,000 and if all things been equal we may get there before middle of 2018. I have also tried to forecast that bitcoin price will cross $5000 before end of this week and we are closed to achieve that.

I think best case scenario we will see $10k by about august of 2018, more likely would be sometime around the beginning of 2019.

10k per bitcoin could happen really soon if the upward trend continues and the planned forks are a success. If so it could be as early as the first couple of months of 2018, let's not forget, bitcoin has done over 5x already since January. However I wouldn't like to bet much on this, if I've learned anything it's that bitcoin is a wildly unpredictable creature!

... or it will fail before that happen because no one will be using BTC and the only purpose will be to store it and hold it forever.
Which I am afraid might not be the best option if we are aiming for mass adoption to happen and network effect to kick in.
One is rather certain, if the current upward trend will continue we will see 1 BTC = 10k USD sooner or later.
Guessing when that happens is kinda pointless though as it is nothing more but pure speculation at this point.

For me possible to see 10k dollars before and of this year 2017 or maybe 2018 or 2019. It depends always in the demand on the market if the price increase or decrease. If bitcoin havr many buyer ofcoarse it will increase but if they have many sellet for sure it will go down. But I hope we see price of bitcoin become 10k dollars so we can make a lot of profit . If price of bitcoin will reach that price for sure the crypto will increase because most of them are base on bitcoin .

This should be before 2020. It's the block halving year I guess and it will make the price go to the moon. So we gotta pass $10k first. And then the rest will be much easier.

Indeed, similar forecasts are already heard everywhere and everywhere, so I also stick to this plan. Of course it's not so long to wait, but nevertheless We see that in one year the price for Bitcoin can go down and rise many times.

Most probably this will happen before the year 2020, because by that time a much larger adoption will be found as well by that halving takes place moving the price much higher than the regular or ongoing growth. $10000 is easily achievable, when the next country legalize bitcoin the price might reach the same.

No one can predict when it will reach $ 10K or how much bitcoin price will go.But in my assumption it reaches $10000 in the year of 2025.Because the value of bitcoin is gradually increasing day by day today's value is nearly equal to $5000.So i think the year 2020 is not enough to go to $10000 thats why im predicting that it will happen in 2025.
