I think it will be ripple. It is a coin stable up to this point and it is also targeted by large companies and works on the ripple ecosystem. It's going to grow pretty fast by the end of the year and it's pretty much expected

SONM is pumped to 4k satoshi this day after a few month ago dumped to 1,k satoshi i think this coin gonna be the best coin in the few days or maybe month.

SONM has been on a pretty good list of coins in recent months.
then many investors even the bounty hunter still retain their SONM coins.

I like monero the price is always up and also volume, but if note the price is not friendly

Im surprise with the SONM it has pump after few months. This was a successful ICO and recently when it hit the exchange price at 1k sats I guess. But now it pump to 4k sats. So lucky for those who hold Sonm price will continues to pump.

First and foremost I'll say that I am an investor in Enjin Coin. And obviously anyone is going to promote their own self interest but I truly believe that this ICO has an insane amount of potential. The ICO is going on right now but It looks like it'll sell out in the coming days. The project itself is a smart currency for gaming. Essentially, it'll act as the sole means of buying and selling virtual goods across a range of games. Now anyone whose played video games fairly hardcore knows just how much people are willing to spend on this stuff, its stupid amounts of dollars. But that correlates directly with immense profit potential if the coin gets widely adapted as any gamer who wants an edge is going to be inclined to use the service and any gamer looking to make money doing something they love through selling earned in-game rare items and the such can do so. Both parties profit and in turn the price of the coin is going to be driven through the roof. The team itself, Enjin, is an established gaming company with a user base in the millions. So for me it was a no brainer but for any of you guys looking for potential up and coming massive return investments I'd highly recommend looking into this one.

I read a lot of speculation here but not much substance.

To be honest, if you are looking at the next big thing in crypto then you have to start looking at "real world use" for the coin or payment system.

The best placed investment in that space is MTL.  The Metalpay phenomenon is on its way and you won't get any warning before the price skyrockets !

MTL at a great price now and will probably introduce crypto to the mainstream.

Sonm, pivx and 0x will be the next big things. Each is very different coin and working on different things. A portfolio comprising these coins would be great for long term.

Well i have few favourites for the near future.

Consider yourself engaging with the jibrel network who has started the project last week only. The ideal thing to do is join them in their presale now because they have better bonuses than others and have working prototype for the project that they are going to launch pretty soon. I thing Sentry is a big one and Sentry is a most important or most of the valuable coin. When Sentry is came in online market then when ICO start and When ICO will be end it will be a Great Value for all Crypto Trader. Sentry is a big future for all crypto trader.

I think its ripple, even though many didnt know ripple but ripple is very strong and has potential, it is now targeted by huge companies and networks.

QTUM, ARK, Waves are very nice coins and have potential to be next big thing.
I will ready and research for sentry if its really valueable.

I guess this guy might be right! I just wanted to check out what is this coin all about and Google didn't give me the official website on the first page! Even the signature doesn't lead to their website, only to bitcointalk thread! I guess this is the least plausible next big thing I've ever seen. No marketing, no website, dev team without experience...

For me, NEO is the next big thing. NEO have different projects that is really quality. NEO supports faster development and deployment of smart contracts and projects, as it enables developers to build on programming languages already familiar with them. NEO is said to have the support of regulatory agencies and the business community in general.

I must tell you that I'm sold out to the idea behind Ox, it could the the platform that change all the hazzle surrounding all these centralise exchanges we are having in the space now

Despite it is very difficult to guess I'll put 3 of my guess about that. Ethereum, Zcash, Dash. I think one of these 3 will be next big thing.

Elix could be a very huge thing in the next couple of months. They are going to release their mobile app in Januar and this will be huge. The team behind the project is very active and I am look forward with the whole project!

I ave got to go wit my gut and say Ethereum is the next big thing given the extreme level of technology compared to other coins, being backed by Microsoft and essentially used by hundreds of companies as their backbone.

Even monero alreayd included in the top 10 coinmarketcap and you said that the deeponion as the major player in the anonymous market? That makes me laugh. Because the anonymous market alreayd dominated by the monero.

In my opinion Waves and monaco cord (MCO)  these will go to the moon in few days.  MCO was crossed upto 25 $  few days ago. I think it will pump again like before.And waves is being more potential  from when i saw the coin.so i also think waves must be pump and may be go to 50$ in coming year 2018.

Of all altcoins i personally still think BitcoinCash will be great for the next, and the price will increase and will continue to exist. Why so, because BCH is the result of Bitcoin fork which is a fraction of bitcoin and in my opinion BCH price will be higher later. Seeing a warm welcome from traders makes me believe BCH is a coin that will continue to developing in the future. Although many issues say BCH is a failed coin but i believe BCH is a successful coin in the future.

In no way did you answer why CarTaxi on the blockchain is better in any shape or form than traditional car towing. I see absolutely zero need/benefit for a car taxi service on a crypto currency block chain. Sounds like you just threw your money into the project much like so many others do without any rational thought put into the decision making process to do so. For waves I see a nice price change nowadays. they experienced a price increase of a few percent after a few days ago prices fell. but I do not know it is the price will continue to go up or stop. make sure you do research first. for monaco I see not having a big marketcap but also not too small. so stay cautious dude. maybe both coins have potential but I prefer NEO for now..

I think danherbias07 is very right, i have been following CarTaxi project and their roadmap for a while and i strongly believe this project will be a success.They are already a working product with apps on apple store and android market.

I think sebeum is the best investment their ICO is good and you have real estate owners from argentina, canada, US plus they have an banking system where you can put your fiat. The owner of sebeum is an CEO of multi property and their coin is decentralized unlike ETH and any other coin. But bitcoin will always be number no altcoin can defeat especially when altcoinsare having a hard time to prove their worth.

For me it's Etherium, the 2nd top crypto currency that is leading ahead to be the next Bitcoin. No matter how many Bitcoin hard forks exist, Ethereum will lead to the climbing slope of the graph.

Let us watch INXT . INXT has no decimal and it is rounded up and unsold coins(token) was burnt. These two characteristics make it a coin to watch out for. It came out at 0.003 ether and within a week infact today it is at 0.11Ether about $3.39. I believe there is great potential here.

NEO is a great coin, now priced around 780k and I'm sure it will not stop until the end of the year, although it looks expensive but I think we still have a chance to get profit.

I think you may not consider Ethereum because it's an old one, but the potential is still high in ethereum. As the infratstructure is beeing developed, we will see more positive things from Ethereum. Like price increase, demand etc.

Change-Bank is a silly project. Nobody is going to put their coins in a bank or any centralized place, for the reasons that Andreas Antonopoulos cited. You cannot trust them because it can get hacked or stolen by a rogue employee.

Change-Bank is way too late to the party. Monaco, TenX and Centra are doing debit cards as well.

Banking and insurance are complicated business.  Nobody on Change-Bank's team has any experience in banking or insurance.
