just some personal thought never thought about .bit is the reason for the price do you think people in btc-e or other exchange real care about .bit that much? I think for the price is high because this is one of first copy coin of BTC. http://blockchained.com/namecoin/ i think price would goes down from time to time. it still holds some value because it was the first copy. .bit and other alternative networks will book within 2 years from now. Then you will be hitting yourself saying "STUPID! Stupid...Stupid!.." for not getting into this earlier. Personally I am going to invest some of my own time and money to produce several services for NMC. It deserves it. It is the only coin with an actual purpose.
