It seems to be staking every day, 3-5% but there are also random rewards mentioned. 

A lot of Crypto devs today I think are tired of a lack of a big enough team working under them.  But then I think that bounties should be given for support.   Everything takes an emotional toll for better or worse, and maybe the dev is a little tired from all the work to get the new wallet out.

I have 16179 coins, today I got 5.7, .6, and 5.8.

so its around 20% per a year, this is low but still nice. i remember that in the old thread it says 3% - 5% per a stake which is really high.

all in all i think its great coin however i wonder how many coins have circulated because there was a swap and how many will be circulated as it wil affect the market price.

It's random staking percentage.  I also got a few more smaller ones yesterday as well.

I have been staking well with this coin for a week now.  It does give random rewards like Condensate RAIN.  I did email the dev a few days ago but he hasn't emailed back.  I hope this coin can get a community around it and boost up the awareness for it, because looks like everything is fine and it will be a great coin.

this coin is cool, price is down because of bitcoin fork, after that the price will jump high like a real kangaroo!

i`m sure we will build a nice community to this coin and more people will join, i think it will take time as we have 2 bitcoins fork a head of us, maybe in January 2018 we will start to see this coin moving on to the next level, and until than lets just stake and get rewards!

I think it uses scrypt algo, qubit mining against it is only rejected.

from my experience its around 15% - 20% a year + compound. this is a very new coin, i never understood why they left the old blockchain. anyways those who will enter the coin right now might benefit for the long run, the price is very cheap, small pos rewards means low inflations and we are after btc fork, all money will go back to altcoins.

I'm not sure it is qubit, one of the mining pools seemed to think it was scrypt for kgb2. This might make sense if it is a direct clone of novacoin.

There really aren't a lot of POS coins that stake well.   It's almost like the ICO thing.  I'm not a conspiracy theorist but both the bad POS coins and the ICO's have done more damage to Crypto than anything other than the scammers, maybe they are connected, or the criminals that have used it.  There have been a big batch of failed POS coins that have probably dissuaded a lot of people from staking.  It lost their money, for sure.    The good staking coins right now are Growthcoin, Truck, Version, Rain, 808, Piggy, Bottlecaps, Worm, and Boat.  I think KGB2 can be a winner, too.  The rest are too expensive for most to stake or are going towards 1 to 2 sat.

coinsmarkets.com has installed kgb2 wallet and their wallet didnt synced. i provided them with node list.

this mean they really considering adding kgb2 to the site and they just check everything is ok. i hope it will happen soon!

many icos and pos coins are going to failed or are scam, but this will do good as people will be more careful before they invest and the scammer will have hard time to plot a money system.

all in all pos is the future of crypto and if we play right than we can gain profit even with kgb2 project, 90% of success is up to us as a community!

Has anyone used coin control yet?  I am getting a lot of small stakes.  When I've used coin control in other wallets before in this kind of situation, it resulted in another long maturity waiting time before staking and didn't seem to change the size of the stakes very much.

Also, can people please run their wallets?  The more people who run their wallets the less CPU the rest of us have to use to keep the blockchain running.

with network weight so small it doesnt really matter if you use coin control.
if you put all your coin in 1 block than you have to wait more time but you will get bigger reward.

however if you get 1-4 rewards a day you dont get much of the higher random rewards. but if you split all your coins to 1,000 blocks, than every few seconds you get a reward so you have more chances to hit the high reward.

eventually having lots of blocks is like having more lottery tickets.

i think that high CPU powers is because you have lots of blocks, if you get like a stake every few seconds than its take more computer power.

If it's on the old chain, it won't work.  Our wallets have been fine since the new wallet was released.

It has just of today come to my attention, that I have to swap my KGB's.
Now I sit with a problem, since I have my KGB's in Cryptopia and I understand it this way;
I will have to open an account in Novaexchange and transfer my KGB's there, to make the swap?
BUT, it's not possible, to make new registration/open an account at Novaexchange.
So - what do I do?
If I make a KGB2 wallet and transfer my KGB's there, will they be swapped?
Or will they be lost - like disappear in the transaction?  :-\

Yes, but Novaexchange is saying that since it's not being mined, they won't activate it.  We should be there and that isn't right what they're saying.  Not sure what the dev had to do to be on Nova but I think we're owed by them to be there.   


I didn't want to mention it before on the thread because I think it's disinformation that a coin can't be on an exchange that isn't mined.    I do
mine some coins but not very knowledgeable about what it takes to start a pool on a coin like KGB2.

What exchange?  We clearly need to get more action on this coin, like a slack or discord, even Reddit thread.   Why can't a pool add it?  There are people adding to this thread, which is a good first step.

They keep telling me that because "no one is mining it" they won't list it, but many coins are no longer POW and only POS.

novaexchange will keep on running after all so kgb2 will be able to trade there.

currently around 1 satoshi and its much more than coinmarkets where it is traded at less than 1 satoshi.

so this will save the coi for a whilen, still we need more marketing.

I contacted them several times about it and they are giving some line about no one is mining this coin, so they cannot support it.  But a lot of coins are POS only now.   If more people contact them about it and say our side of it, maybe the support opinion will change, especially now they aren't closing.

There are some more exchanges out there that would list it for free if we just poke around.

That is a different chain.  This chain was supported by Coinsmarket and also Novaexchange before they blamed the lack of miners as a reason they would not support it.   A lot of coins have no more POW.

I am running my wallet again.  It's a cool wallet and staking idea.  Perhaps it can be traded again. 

He was last active here in April, which is better than I expected.   "Devs" generally are not to be trusted as having a normal work ethic.  Unless you see some transparency, and some others who know them, you have about 80% chance they will leave you hanging.  Even these big ICO's seem to be that way.

I am running the wallet again.  I haven't been lately.  It would be fun at least to get it staking again and see what the exchanges do.
