Around this time, many countries will have already converted their physical
monetary systems to digital systems, likely using editable ledger systems.
They will not be public, immutable, decentralized, or etc, and will not be
utilized for the purpose of a more efficient and fair monetary system, but
to assist and ensure governmental control and monitoring of their citizens.
Under this system, purchases are recorded and analyzed instantly to
determine the human's probable future actions.

Based upon this system, in conjunctions with a synthetic implant powered
and secured by the human's nervous system shortly thereafter, it will be
possible to implement an end game scenario where human rights no longer
exist since they can be denied by erasing your existence from their system.
In those countries, citizens who have been "erased" will be unable to even
buy a loaf of bread or be given access to medical service facilities. Any
citizens who come across an "erased" will be accused of unlawful association,
and thus be subject to possible removal from their system. This reinforces
the government's power and control over the human citizens. The humans
in this system can never collectively organize and attempt to overthrow this
totalitarian control system since their future actions are calculated based
upon their recent actions and recent inactions.

At this time, the Bitcoin Network is the only free and fair montary system
that allows humans to survive outside of this future totalitarian system.
Majority of individuals who have been "erased" will form small collectives
which perform services that are legal or deemed illegal by those counties,
and will be compensated through bitcoins. Citizens within these countries
will at times need the services of the "erased" and so some will possess
bitcoins in secret so that they can purchase their particular services.

Can we just think of closest years? 2025 is a long road before we can reached there.

Honestly I don't mind that bitcoin price isn't much that higher compare to what we are today. As long as bitcoin gained continously it's momentum, then that's what Im eyeing more. Rather to sees only around $8,000 on bitcoin price once 2025 came than to see bitcoin will have such lowered price of what it is today on that year.

2025? It will be probably be replaced by some kind of new technology. I will dump all my bitcoins before 2020

2025 seems like a long way to go and with all the recent developments, nothing is for sure. Yet, I believe that Bitcoin will keep its head up the water and survive till then. If at all it does, I would predict the price to be over $25,000 at that point just because of the growth potential of Bitcoin. All we can do is wait and watch as time progresses and hope that it actually goes big.

yes we certainly hope that bitcoin progress will continue to increase and could be in the crypto market for the next few years, and by 2025 maybe bitcoin prices will have a high value.

I do not think Bitcoin was meant to be the official currency of the World. Even the inventor would not like the idea.

Just see Bitcoin as a very secure cyber currency that isn't owned by any country.. , can neither be manipulated nor controlled and can be traded anywhere in the world.

By then crypto will either have crashed and burned or thrive bigtime with a market capitalization in the trillions. I say crypto instead of BTC as I think it will be overtaken by other coins if the cryptomarket indeed continues to expand. Market share of BTC already decreased from around 80% to just below 50% this year. Yes, I know assumptions based on developments in the past should be taken with a truckload of salt.

I hope the world would be more receptive of BTC in the future, around 2025. Maybe another forms of use and transactions. Or maybe the Governments take the BTC to they and disrupt the whole system. Or so... Only the future knows.

Been thinking about this but if most of the people are going to switch into another payment system it's just because they can't catch up with bitcoin's current price and they don't agree with decentralization that it offers. And  it doesn't matter even the world will jump into another payment system as long as bitcoin will be ending up having lower fees people will come back to it and we are all rich by that time.

It's up to you to sell your entire stash by at time, but you obviously don't see how the constantly increasing demand will continue to push Bitcoin to newer highs in the upcoming years. In 2020 we'll be seeing the next block halving kick in, bringing the block reward down to just 6.25 BTC per block. 4 years after that, the block reward will fall down to just 3.125 BTC per block! Good thing is that the market will allow you to re-enter the market at any time -- you just need to be ok paying a significant premium at that time. ;)

BTC will still be dominant as ever in 2025. That's what I'm seeing right now. We could expect many alt-BTC by that time but the original BTC will still be the king and will mostly be used by the masses. I'm expecting that by that time, high percentage of the population in the world recognizes it as the currency for anyone and can be used anywhere, in any part of the globe. Still, the government has no control over it.

The crypto is the revolution idea about the future of the payment in the digital world. because bitcoin runs with many nodes that has spread around the world. that will be difficult to manipulate without do a collusion.

one thing I can already advance, the price of bitcoin will be different from the current price, country like mine (for those who do not know I'm from Mozambique I'm on the African continent) then at least they will have evolved to the point where I can pay for electricity, water , tv and internet using my bitcoin, of course I will dream that at that time bitcoin debit card will have support for my country.

being bitcoin a decentralized currency, it has a great future, because even the politicians who today do not accept bitcoin will accept in the future, this is a matter of many people knowing about the advantages that bitcoin offers

In fact, there are many other options. For example, goverment/goverments can create their own crypto or some other type of really digital currency, and ban bitcoin.

LOL. 2025 is still far. But I speculate that the price is bitcoin have reach the 5 digit mark so I don't know if its still a viable choice for making online payments. Because ordinary and casuals can't get it because the price is too high. And maybe it will just be a good investment portfolio and nothing more. So I don't think that it will be adopted by a lot of countries because of the price.

Base on what i seen here mostly people here are using online payment system than they are paying in cash so maybe in the future we will most of the people will use online payment system and bitcoin will be the good service that can be use worldwide..
And we see almost will have ATM bitcoin bank each in every country.. and i think we will also see Hi-Tech gadgets or things that can  run only if you can send and use your bitcoin in those hi-tech units.

I THINK FUTURE OF BITCOIN IN THE FUTURE IN THE YEAR OF 2025 THERES MANY BUSINESS ACCEPT BITCOIN PAYMENT. AND I think the price of bitcoin is very high because for sure many new investor will imvest to bitcoin and bitcoin become popular and for sure there are 50-100 million people using bitcoin on that day. And I hope the price of bitcoin will increase  so we can make a lot of profit .

I don’t know if I’m still alive at that year. So it’s better for me to look for what will happen to bitcoin in the hands of the future generations. 2025 bitcoin will still be on existence but with a much bigger competitor and this time it is manage and controlled by the government and the financial institutions. Why? Because whatever we do those humans will not stop and ignore bitcoin to prosper.

We can never say, there is a lot of possibilities that might happen in the future, war might surface anytime, a number of disaster and plagues predicting the future is impossible right now I think we should aim earning and attaining bitcoin for now and hope that the value would still increase for more years to come because bitcoin is very limited in the years to come that is why the value will surely surge high because of the demand and when that time comes you would be one of the millionaire.

I like your idea somehow,I can't even predict the future too. If bitcoin becomes more successful someday then it won't be hard to use as fiat money once you cash out through wallet transaction when it's already legal in every modes of payment in every country. That year,2025 is such a long term investment already so there might be a tendency that the person has earned a lot of coins that would be a potential coin from various sources. Definitely,it will be given a good name in the society of cryptocurrency world.

In the future there are many possibilities of bitcoin to be the best and most used for financial transactions. especially to beat online transaction system like credit card and paypal. I am sure this can be realized because at this time bitcoin has many advantages compared to paypal and credit card. while for real money I think bitcoin can be a companion payment of all transactions in the world. the future of bitcoin may be better than that estimate. the most important thing now is that we can continue to develop bitcoin in order to get better and more people using bitcoin will make bitcoin more appreciated and value increase.

It will sure gain such feats in the future, I like the things that all is legal in every modes of payment. When that thing happens I think we can see the price is so much high that the governments accept it and they are benefiting with bitcoin that is why it is still good to buy bitcoin because in that year 2025 the value of bitcoin would be on a different scale of 6 digits now.

in my opinion, bitcoin's value in year 2025 will be more valuable and be widely accepted around the world. The development stage of bitcoin and technology will never stop and it is best to invest for long-term gain.

For me i think in 2025 bitcoin will be in a higher value. . .cause some of the cryto community  predicted that bitcoin will be the future money cause its performance. I dont know if if that times happened. . But for me if bitcoin survive in that year 2025 . the bitcoin will reach that higher value i think. Bitcoin will either be a well established currency used widely across the world, or it will be a currency only used by a small niche market who refuse to give up on it.

By the year 2025 the price will be much higher than that of the present amount. The major factor that I think of is the increasing users as well the increasing market acceptance. Another reason to expect a big price by 2025 is the halving. By that time we'll be crossing two more halving which gives certain percentage of assured increase in price.

If were talking about the new payment system in that year as we can see nowadays bitcoin can be use to pay bills like today if you wanting to pay your bills you can easily use your bitcoin wallet like our using bitcoin wallet that based in our country which it is easily to use and easily to withdraw whenever you want. Governments will put on a big fight before accepting bitcoin's superiority in my view. I don't see how you are going to convince the likes of Jamie Dimon to convert their assets into Bitcoin. Also have on mind that Jamie Dimon may run for the presidency of Federal Reserve and this may lead to him trying to convince whatever president of the US at that time to deploy a big attack on bitcoin. We will of course survive, but it may be a war that lasts years and causes a big market price.

Let's hope that the smarter bankers that see the opportunity of being bitcoin friendly instead of anti-bitcoin take the lead and we all get rich while enjoying the technology that bitcoin brings us without any additional drama from old dinosaurs trying to fight an asteroid.

8 years is lots of time. Most likely we will see 100 forks till then. Blockchain will be way over 1 TB. Everyone in economic field will realize power of Bitcoin til then, so there will be a lot of people fighting against. We might even see countries using arms against each other over Bitcoin, for sure an economic battles.

In short it will be same interesting times as are today.

I might not hope that to happen battles against economy and that's even worst than fiat economy war. Maybe in another way bitcoin become's profitable by that year to come and 2025 bitcoin's future will be more colorful than this present days. Well, i cant predict the future of Bitcoin in 2025 , but I can say some " idea's " . I think that Bitcoin in 2025 will have a BIG value , maybe will reach a total of $40.000 . The future of Bitcoin is a good one , in my opinion . But , bad things can also happen, Bitcoin could even disappear, his value maybe it's gonna fall really much, maybe to a few dollar maybe , anything can happen , anything it's possible.

It would be quite scary because bitcoin would either be 0 or $1M+..... successful or complete failure or taken over by some other forms of crypto....

2025 is not that far away but it is not as close either, if we were to predict about next year then while the amount of chances that can happen in a single year are great at the same time not everything can happen in such a short amount of time and we know it.

Indeed, to have a prediction with a relatively long period of time is certainly not an easy thing, especially for bitcoin because there is no definitive prediction about bitcoin, and all possibilities can occur in bitcoin, but of course we expect a positive possibility to happen in bitcoin for this year.

Well if john mcafee still has his d*ck intact at that time, then bitcoin would probably be worth millions already. Though i'm not really confident making such predictions as i don't have as many btcs as the guy but i hope he keeps it on

Well, I think bitcoin will survive so many years in the future beyond 2025 because bitcoin still have unmine coins which miners will be mining the future till 2140.

If bitcoin becomes worthless one day, there won't be any miners left to mine the remaining coins, would cost more than it would reward.
This is the worst scenario, but not impossible.
In a better future bitcoin still has value and will thus still exist in 2025 (technically bitcoin will exist in 2025, even if worthless). If we believe in bitcoin we can suppose it'll have more value than today and will be used worldwide as a currency.

I think predicting year 2025 is too far to even think of because there are not any data yet to support such theoretical forecasting. Otherwise stated, the data we have on hand is still very much thin. Nonetheless, we can still utilize the data we have beginning 2013 until the last quarter of 2017 for purposes of plausible repetition of trends. But then again, I think it would be kind of baseless considering the thinness of data plus the fact that we are only supposing the initial years of Bitcoin in the market. To further bolster my point, remember Bitcoin only made extensive headline worldwide in the last quarter of 2017 because it almost reached $20,000. You have to put that one in utmost consideration.

Where we go from here is really what would determine the future. There are so many developments ongoing, the LN which could help use hit the mainstream better, the tag down by the governments on regulations of cryptocurrencies, the gradual attack even by some developers, and the whole community perception about cryptocurrency. All these put together is what would determine where we would be in 2025 and afterwards.

2025 is a long way off, and there is no possibility of predicting the future of Bitcoin that far. Bitcoin may still be the no.1 crypto-currency and the prices may cross the magical $100,000 mark. But at the same time, there is a real possibility of some of the altcoins such as Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash dislodging Bitcoin from the no.1 position.

In 2025, I can see a great future for bitcoin.  The whole world will be using it and entrepreneurs big small are into it,embracing it. There will be a lot of new things that will happen to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. There will be new era for virtual money at that time.

I really don't know what is the future of bitcoin in 2025, but in my own prediction bitcoin will rise his price every year and the price of it will be doubled in 2025. That is my observation for now.

guys I've already heard so many predictions and read, and not only on the bitcointalk forum, that I do not know who to believe. Very many mass media distribute very different information about Bitcoin and other crypto currency. But the fact is that to date, the Crypto currency has given me a good salary, which I can dispose of, and this gives me the right to protect all the advantages of the crypto currency in front of society.

Many things will happen later, we can not predict it
But if we look at the current state I think we can see a little ahead
along with the development of tekhonolgy and world economic growth, I think bitcoin is worth calculating, because bitcoin can be a means to make more money.

I think in 2025 crypto will be much more popular, but it could be that in 2025 bitcoin is no longer a leading coin, bitcoin can be replaced by altcoin. Everything can happen, currently the most popular bitcoin but in 2025 there is no guarantee of bitcoin will remain the most popular.

Well, between now and 2025 there will be two block halvings. Assuming Bitcoin still has the most hasrate by then, adoption doesn't decline, and no governments create fedcoin, than we should be in good shape. If the lightning network works out, 2025 we could easily see a $250k price point. Possibly more.

Year 2025 is long to think of the future, but we can assumes price of bitcoin maybe more valuable than today. Popular yes because I think more users into bitcoin. However, there are more hindrances in the bitcoin perfomace but I think it will be good in the future.

2025 is very longtern and they have big chnce that there's no bitcoin on that year because they have a lot of altcoins now that are better to bitcoin now and I think bitcoin replace by the other altcoins and the possible become the next bitcoin is the ethereum because I see the more potential to become the next king of the all coins in the market. 21 millions coins will not be mined by 2025, but the price of bitcoin is unpredictable by that time. Still, there is no exact prediction about the Bitcoin price but surely it will reach to new ATH.

Too far up to 2025 it was only a matter of payment, the fact is that at present there are payments that have switched to other systems, now all payments have been made through a network system.

I think that by this time the world would realize that the fiat system for Payments is broken and the world needs a new way for transacting and then they would consider bitcoin as a way of transacting for daily needs and also by then the lightning network will be stable enough and also will be tried and tested method so there wouldn't be the high transaction fees and the long waiting times for your transactions to get confirmed,but this is still pretty unreliable thinking and anything can happen for sure.

I seriously believe that cryptocurrencies is the future of our financial system and in some years to come we are going to have another upwards movement and adoption that is going to kick the fiat out of our financial system.  In 2025 we must have been able to put cryptocurrencies in the mind of governments and society that will make our society started to used bitcoin as a mode of payment for goods and services.

We will see about that, i guess someone was already done with the market situation. So far i couldn't see any rivals yet to bitcoin but i am aware that there are too many that are trying to be on the top but they didn't get it but instead they were all called altcoins and shitcoins.

Bitcoin is a fastest growing online currency. Many factor help it in its progress. Bitcoin is a growing currency and at the year 2025 its progress will be unimaginable. Many developed countries like japan Germany work with it to improve their country economy and in many central Africa countries it work as only money transaction medium and these benefits of bitcoin secure its future. Many big multinational companies start investing in it and start using it for their various projects and purposes and these things also help it to secure its future.

To me that is too soon, I also believe that the current economic system cannot last forever and it is going to fall at some point during our lives, but banks are getting better at manipulating the system and at deceiving people and make it seem as if everything is okay, so in my opinion we are going to need a few decades before what you predict will happen.

I can't predict bitcoin price in 2025 but I think in that year may be my country will legalize bitcoin as payment method because year by year the enthusiast of bitcoin In my country are continue to increase and it can be a consideration for the government to legalize bitcoin.
