Title: [ANN] YAC P2P Pool http://yacpool.cloudapp.net:8336 (fast, reliable, 1% fee)
Post by: testz on June 02, 2013, 09:02:02 PM
Welcome to the new P2P Pool for YAC: http://yacpool.cloudapp.net:8336

To mine use following code:
Code:
minerd.exe -a scrypt-jane -o http://yacpool.cloudapp.net:8336 -O <Your YAC wallet address>:<any password>

If you want to limit number of processor cores used for mining, specify –t <number of threads>, for example:
Code:
minerd.exe -a scrypt-jane –t 3 -o http://yacpool.cloudapp.net:8336 -O <Your YAC wallet address>:<any password>

Miner software you can download from here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=201027.0
If you processor support AVX (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions), use minerd_scrypt_jane_x64_avx.exe, if not - minerd_scrypt_jane_x64_ssse3.exe, if you have very old processor, use minerd_scrypt_jane_x32.exe

Features that all P2Pool offer:
  • PPLNS
  • No registration, Just start mining!
  • Payout instantly whenever a block is found on any node.
  • No minimum payout as long as you have an active share
  • Decent graphs show your progress and speed.
  • No coins stored in the server's wallet. Better security. Payouts show up as a mined transaction.
  • If node goes down, mine at another P2Pool node. No loss of PPLNS shares, other nodes guarantee your payout. Use other nodes as backups in your miner config.

what is the current hashrate of a 3770k and how many coins will it bring in a day

With ~900k during 8 hours I get 200-300 coins. With ~300k I get 100-150 coins per day.
Maybe with 3770k it's better to mine solo but if you want to get stable profit main with p2p pool.

What are your CPUs using for mining at these hashrates respectively?

Using CPU miner: http://yacointalk.com/index.php/topic,264.0.html
Core i7 2.8GHz (8 cores) = 22 kHash (SSE2)
2 * Xeon E5-2650 @ 2.00 Ghz (16 cores each) 32 core total = 92 KHash (AVX)

tests, could you please check last payouts to Y7tKGp1x5ZDXPWmfKHMpTdnknqvApvfGhp from this pool?
Stats shows these payouts but I have not received them... I've mined with this pool for the last couple of days with this address as the user name.

I think something is wrong here..  ???

This pool is strange. GPU miner shows higher hashrate when I get work from this pool. By higher, I mean like 1.7x solo mining hashrate. The only problem being this pool apparently hasn't found a block for a long time!
