Hello and thank you for interest in Aphelion.  We just made our announcement on Oct 5th and the ICO doesn't officially kick off until Nov 15th.  We are in pre-ICO now and about to close that round.  An official NEO announcement is coming.

Well, kinda excited. Better to wait onwards announcement to get full idea. Just anticipated, there another ICO set to launch on the NEO platform, does this mean NEO is going to BOOM.

So NEO needs to announce that someone is going to use there blockchain?

I participated two days ago and looking at the fund addresses (Btc, Eth & Neo) more people are joining the pre-sale.

I did a little bit of digging and I can't verify that this is a real ICO. On linked in the company has 17 employees that are all somewhat all sharing mutliple employers that look like empty companies. Also twitter followers seem fake for a couple of related people.

I don't want to spread any FUD, but these two articles raise some good questions. When investing money, you should be critical. For example, why are millions of dollars necessary to develop a project when there are tokens out there that developers are developing without 30 millions dollars raised? I know, it is in my signature, but their campaign ended, take BLUE for example. No tokensale but a very active team... That is the closest of an example I know though  :).

Yes, i`m agree with you - it`s rather strange because recently we saw 50% growth of NEO and a lot of positive news about it.
By the way Aphelion is the 2nd ICO on NEO (First was Red Pulse).

This is a very strong and promising project of our time. I like that Aphelion decided to be on the NEO

NEO is heavily advertised now and Aphelion made a right decision.
Now they collected 4.4mln$ - what is min summ do they need for project?

A couple of quotes from the white paper.

"It is possible that all ICO tokens are sold in round 1" - didn't quite make it to this possibility, and looks like this possibility will not come true even in round 3 (only a total of 13% sold so far in round 3).

"Any tokens that are unsold through the end of round 3 will be burned." - me thinks there will be a huge bonfire getting lit up in the offices of Aphelion.

It's a pitty this ICO is heading towards a complete failure as it will give NEO a bad name.

As I know, they stoped their bounty due to low outcome. (Somewhere this was officially announced)  Bounty hunters dont need to panic, as they calculate your bounties after the ICO.

The only Aphelion bounty, that I can find, that has come to an end is the Facebook bounty. If you have a look on the OP page is says "*FACEBOOK CAMPAIGN IS NOW CLOSED*".

I don't think the result is as good as it looks. The ICO had only achieved 14% with 1 day left of the ICO then, suddenly, it was at 71% - WOW! that's some jump, where did these last minute investors come from. Well look at the Aphelion web site and it says "...the ICO sold 71% of our revised goal." Hmmm, 'revised' goal ?

From the White Paper.
"With 440 total token supply, there will be 220M APH tokens for sale available through the ICO.."
"Allotment Breakdown 45% Sold ICO"

So the revision was to reduce the ICO supply from 220 Million to 50 Million making the ICO look more successful than it was, not good.

What is up with the website? It says I can only use Google Chrome and I need some extension? Why did they change it? I am afraid to download any extension for it to be a phishing scam.

On none. They can plan a lot, but exchanges not listing other exchanges. Maybe etherdelta, but none of the giants will do that. So you will need to wait until they will launch, if they will.

Aphelion Weekly Updates February 1 2018

This past week we've made some major breakthroughs in some complex challenges into how APH exchanges will happen and also in how to claim APH that will be redistributed to all token holders.  We now know the design and logic for our initial release and are still on pace to hold true to our timeline and roadmap.  These next 4-8 weeks will be very exciting for the Aphelion community.

Exchanges
 
Last week we announced we'd made deals with 3 nep5 compatible exchanges to list APH and this past week we submitted for a 4th and it's a big one.  We may or may not list on all 4 as its looking like we might drop one of our initial exchanges because of very low volume.  We will be announcing the exchanges and the listing dates later this month.  We know everyone is anxious for the listings and we are too but we have to be patient and strategic to align our development so that the token value is positively impacted for the listings.
 
Marketing
 
We are building our next marketing strategy right now and actively hiring community managers in various countries.  If you know rock star community managers that are available to help send them our way.  We'll be launching the blitz in the days leading up to the listings and beyond.  If any community members have ideas or suggestions on markets, channels and programs feel free to share on our telegram channel we are always interested in hearing creative ideas.
 
Wallet
 
Our wallet is full speed ahead on both design and development and we are aiming to have the sharpest looking and functioning wallet in the industry.  We know that is a tall order and we are up for the challenge.  We will share a glimpse into the design in the coming days/weeks and our goal is to have an initial release inside of 30 days.
 
Android/iOS
 
We are in the early stages of an APH app to access the wallet and exchange and expect its release shortly after the updated wallet and initial exchange release.
 
Development
 
Development has cleared some major hurtles this past week and we are getting closer and closer to a proof of work as well as the server build with the order book.  We are at full capacity and our rock star team continues to shine in this groundbreaking project.
 
Development paths are focused on smart contract development in parallel with the server and GUI tracks, as we will need all three components making progress at the same time in order to fully code and test each.  Our development goals for this week are to button up our initial smart contract and get the server code to build and maintain the order book based on blockchain evaluation.  Development goals for next week are to get smart contract functionality for adding and accepting orders working in terms of seeing transactions involving our registered contract being successfully added to the blockchain.  Once that has been achieved we will work at demonstrating the proof of work.

We recently announced that we have submitted APH for listing on Binance.  At the end of the application process they shared this image and approved us to share it with the community:

There were some questions about why we shared this but not the other exchanges we are in process with and it is because 1 exchange we've been approved for we may not list afterall and the others have requested we not announce the listing until a few days before the listing goes live.  As of today we have been approved for 3 exchanges, submitted to 2 additional and are submitting to another one this week for a total of 6 possible exchanges to list APH very soon.  I think a reasonable expectation is that we'll initially list on 2-3 but we will see how things play out.

Aphelion announced a competition on there telegram channel. All you have to do is say what your prefered wallet is, but (and I don't really know how telegram works) how do they know who to give the prize to if telegram is "secret" ?

I'd like that to happen but sense we will get the confirmation of listing in the next few days then and then an actual exchange listing in mid April.Either way we are powerless and have to trust it will all happen in the right way for early investors

People complain when there's no listing and when there are. Wanchain took as long to list or longer? They were 0.34c in ico lol

I also received this email but to be honest it is a bit unclear what are the terms to participate in this promo/giveaway, did you see any articles which will explain details, probably they will ask to deposit some tokens, thus only investors or bounty hunters will be able to participate as they don't have exchanges, or they plan to give it to any person?  ???

Unfortunately no more than a "Watch this space" announcment in the email from Aphelion on what or how the 'free' Aphelion tokens will be made available, a simple lottery with the wallet address as the 'lottery ticket' would be my guess.

To be honest, I have the same feeling that everything will be very simple and will look more like the airdrop but this time you have to download a wallet as an action. I understand the team wants to spread the word about the wallet but  it will be more fair to do this for token holders rather than random lottery to everyone.

Installed this new wallet. Pretty cool and simple. I loved electrum on BTC for the simplicity and now the Aphelion is the best wallet for my NEP5 Tokens.

Warning, do not trade on Kucoin (unless you have no other option, and even then I'd think again). Kucoin was good to start with but they quickly went down hill when they got too big. I've had coins lost (luckily I got them back after a long discusion with Kucoin) and on two occasions had coins stuck during extraction, current stuck extraction going on at this moment, and previous extraction took 6 weeks to complete (almost as bad as Poloniex). An email from Kucoin said it's due to lots of users doing the same thing at the same time and I'm just going to have to wait, really, I mean REALLY ! This is supposed to be a large coin exchange with lots of resources but they can't handle user transaction greater than 2 users trying to withdraw coins at the same time.

Glad to hear that you got your coins back, I also faced some tech issue with the other exchange companies but I think I better not to mention their names. :P

the longer it takes .. the more competitors in the space.    ... which means a dwindling market share ... worst thing for an exchange is low liquidity...
to hit a homerun. APH needs to deliver a bullet proof MVP , that ties in speed and convience .... as well as get mass adoption. the wallet is by far the best interface

Hi guys, just wanted to share my opinion using the Aphelion wallet. First version was raw and it started to improve later, I really like the features for NEO based wallets which are currently offered only by Aphelion. Nice portfolio value with real time price tracking love it. I wish there will be less version and more development, release a new wallet every week doesn't seems wise for me. But of course I understand that it is in the early stage and need constant improvements

There is information about the launch aphelion DEX on July 4, or July 6. True or not... I do not know.

Aphelion Dex is scheduled to release July 4 according to Aphelion CEO, Ian Holtz.
July 6th is the stated goal.....subject to change.  Aphelion happens on that date this year, we mispoke on a previous post re: July 4, Ian Holtz.

Aphelion Increases NEO Sync Performance

This change ensures consistency of the mem_pool upon accepting and persisting a new block and it improves the performance of block persistence. Performance is especially improved when syncing the chain in the case that there are a high number of future transactions hanging around in the mem_pool.

Syncing from a recent chain.acc.zip file has been almost required in the past since syncing could get very slow without this fix if the chain file is rather old. This is because contention on the mem_pool lock from the AddTransactionLoop would block the block persistence thread when LocalNode.Blockchain_PersistCompleted is invoked.

This change will cancel transaction verification each time a new block is received and persisted. I tested syncing the chain and observed significant performance improvement using these changes. Testing was performed on 2 cores of an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2676 v3 @ 2.40GHz using a disk provisioned at 300 minimum IOPS.

We totally need more good DEXes. that's why I'm bullish. DEX with a lot of volume and a user-friendly mobile client will kill it.

Aphelion Improves NEO Performance with Latest GitHub Contribution

These changes keep mem_pool consistent across persisting blocks once the chain is synced. This ensures things already in the mem_pool at the time of persisting a block are prioritized over things in the temp_pool. The change will not slow down syncing the chain, since it only activates this code if the time since the last block was greater than 10 seconds. With our current block times this should be a safe change. Also, if there is a delay while syncing the chain, this could trigger the verification after persisting a block, but it won't slow things down much, since it will should have the next blocks right away if it is fairly well connected to the network. https://aphelion.org/blog/aphelion_improves_neo_performance_with_latest_gith.html

Live on Testnet now. Download and install the latest release v2.0.2 toggle to testnet in settings and Trade DEX menu shows on the sidebar navigation. Right now you can only trade GAS-ATI (aphelion trading initiative) and you'll need test GAS and APH to trade. Our mods will be dulling out the test APH until we can integrate a button to request it. There are known issues we are working around the clock and because its on testnet there are performance issues as those blocks update very slowly. We will potentially launch our own testnet to fix those up until mainnet.

We look forward to feedback so we can quickly update fixes and move into mainnet to finally provide the fastest, cheapest and safest way to trade.

Aphelion Releases Mobile DEX Sneak Peak
We announced today that mainnet Aphelion DEX is right around the corner (first release candidate coming this week) as we wrap up some testing on a fix for the recent NEO network mempool issues.

This is exciting times as we are closing in on the final stage of development for on-chain Aphelion trading and the groundbreaking Aphelion fees and redistribution model.

We’ve also been moving quickly on the mobile DEX and wanted to share a sneak peak of what it will look like. We anticipate the commit/claim/compound functions to be available on the mobile version immediately following mainnet DEX on desktop. With our latest desktop wallet version 2.4.3 and DEX update we integrated what will likely be very close to the actual fees users of the mainnet Aphelion DEX will see, as well as, the actual distribution model for fee sharing in the Aphelion Commit/Compound/Claim feature and key differentiator. We are very proud at how the model turned out, there is nothing like it anywhere and it includes incentives for higher volume trading and holding Aphelion.

The experience of p2p trading directly in the wallet with the unique fee structure and distribution model is such an elegant answer to alternative trading options and it must be experienced to truly understand its utility, ease of use, not to mention the savings and fee sharing that go along with it all. Its important to point out this is still on testnet so in order to see the DEX and experience the commit features users will have to toggle to testnet in the wallet settings.

Its also important to note that trading volume is very low since the DEX is still on testnet so the distributions and fees collected will be small in the interim. Because the fees distributed are directly related to the fees collected, the more trading happens to more fees get distributed.

We’ve also come up with a great way to incentive higher volume trading that we’ll share in the example and chart. In this article we’ll breakdown the model, share our algorithm and give an example and chart to illustrate the process.

I understand that this will be a platform similar in its capabilities to Etherdelta? This is a very promising direction, which makes it possible to realize trade without resorting to a third party. Now many people are interested.

Aphelion Crosses 25,000 Wallet Downloads
In the few short months since the Aphelion wallet debut, we are pleased to announce that at some point last week we crossed 25,000 downloads across our desktop, Android and iOS (new) client. A huge first step in becoming the worlds #1 decentralized exchange.

Commit APH Function Now Integrated into Aphelion Mobile Apps & Web Wallet
Our ‘Commit’ function giving users the ability to commit their APH and share in the 80% fees being distributed back to APH holders has been working great on desktop these last few weeks and now we’ve integrated it into our Android and iOS apps as well as the Android mobile web wallet.

It is still on testnet and so users will need to switch to testnet in the settings and have some test APH in order to use the function. If you’d like try it you can ask our telegram admin for some test APH or use the desktop Aphelion DEX to trade for some if you have test NEO or GAS.

It is with great disappointment that we must report, Aphelion has made the business decision to disable mainnet trading effective immediately. All market pairs in the Aphelion DEX will be disabled on November 21, 2018. Users are urged to cancel their orders and withdraw any contract/DEX balances back to their wallet. Funds are safe and even if you don’t cancel your orders or withdraw your funds we will process those automatically starting on Friday November 23rd, 2018.

This is very unfortunate, since this is/was a very promising project, but the timing to lauch the platform couldn't have been worse (not the team's fault). However, even in this disgrace the team seems to have acted in a honest way and I'm optimist on the fact that they will be able to be back in business once "the perfect storm" is over.

A great thing to see a project that has been running for a year and a half months, I would rather exiting the project rather than developing without no audience.

How comes that with such a good project and a product which has been aleady more or less delivered
