Title: For those who can't access their mtgox account with new password - try this Post by: aquabit on June 25, 2011, 12:58:52 PM I was unable to login on my first few attempts and I was sure I was using the correct details username and password. Then I remembered when I entered my new password on the account recovery page, I typed the password into notepad and then copied and pasted it into the boxes instead of typing it (because I couldn't be bothered typing it twice). So I tried copying and pasting the password in the box and I was able to login.

Even if your old password is "12345" the chances of that account getting hacked is very slim unless you go tell everyone about your username and you have 200,000 coins in your account.
