Title: Reddit now enables sitewide bitcoin tipping Post by: amandaceleroid on June 03, 2013, 12:23:49 AM Reddit users can now use the site’s bitcointip bot to offer a financial thumbs-up to fellow redditors on any subreddit.
Previously, the feature worked only on the Bitcoin subreddit. I encourage anyone who has extra change to tip. It's one of the best marketing tools we have.

I've seen awesome comments on Reddit get nothing, and crappy ones get multiple donations of Reddit Gold. Hope they show tips publicly :) The tips are public, as long as it's input as a comment. You can also pm the bot, in which case I don't think it'll be public. I've seen quite a few tips in the past.
