It has fast and cheap transaction and support smart contract as any erc20 tokens in ethereum.

Until now I didn't find any information about it, so until we can see the white paper or future development it's just a token with "eBTC" name.

I won't complain having received the airdrop, but what in the world is causing this massive price increase other than pure hype and speculation?

I think it is actually a great coin and has lots of potential. I'm still trying to learn more about this coin and will see in the future what it brings to the table. Hopefully it's more than Ethereums value and not just a hype altcoin.

Considering that now it's only ERC20 version of Bitcoin on the Ethereum blockchain, it would be great to see at least some technical documentation to prove its reliability, although there could the potential.

the idea behind the project sounds smart. having sort of hybrid solution. will search about it more detailed about their team and investors etc.

Ebtc is an erc-20 based token. there nothing special or new technologie about this coins!

the only good thing about it is the airdrop so free money :)

I like this kind of airdrop. I think it was a great and fair airdrop.
It has lots of potential in future for us. Already it's price pumped.
I hope next year it will pump at lest 3x to 5x.

I received that coin after the airdrop and I plan hold that token very long. That coin has the great potential.

Well although I can't tell or understand the reason behind this sudden increase in the price of an erc-20 token that has just been airdropped !

It reached almost $0.7 on the first day. That's incredible and strange. What makes investors put money into it ? Is it actually serious ?
When I first looked at it I took it as some joke (a simple token carrying on the name btc and stuff like that).

But guess what everyone is selling already. They all got it for free so they're selling at once. The price went down by 15% in three hours.

WIsh I wouldve known about that airdrop. Really dont even know how to participate in one. Saw someoe ha like 60000 plus coins from the airdrop. Thats 60 grand pretty much for free.

I thing eBTC will be success in a short time. It is great future for all people because it is a most valuable and it is easy to use .  Now a days many people use it and  i also buy around $4000 and i will sell it in short time later.

I like the idea of Bitcoin obituaries but I think someone should also start a directory listing all of the Bitcoin pretenders. Everyone wants to wear the crown of crypto. Put on a fancy dress, pin on some fancy labels. Why not let's call it e-BTC, or z-BTC, or dark BTC. Why not !-btc or ultramegazuperBTC?

I think its a cool idea - the market decide on the price. It´s all about marketing and so more people know of ebtc more value.

Can you give more information about this coin. The supply seems so attractive not to mention it has a good airdrop. I saw many post supporting this token. Will this coin be added on Bittrex?

I am pretty sure that eBtc will have a good future. I love to invest in this coin, I'm sure in the following months its price will be folded many times which will make us a good profit in the future.

This coin slowly claiming at the top 100 of the coinmarketcap and maybe later on this months it will cross and joine those coin who listed on the top 100 list and became more valuable. And to lucky really for the people who got free coins in this airdrop and maybe I will try to join those airdrop who used ERC20 for now.

The Airdrop did not even ask for forum profile. Im sure some did multiple registrations, maybe even five. 5 x 2400 x 1 dollar == 10000 dollars for free.

I wouldnt yet. Too early incase the coin drops heavily but so far looking promising.

The cost per EBTC went up too fast. I think that it will get a really big dump then small pumps will form right after that dump completes the direction.

The associated name of this new coin with btc is one of the fuel driving this. The moment the fog is clear and the token is known for what it is, two things will happen. People will dump or the hype will continue.

I've not seen any white paper or plan yet. Isn't this just cashing in on bitcoin and ethereum names, so bitcoin + ethereum combined in one coin is guaranteed to be fantastic regardless of if there's any real plan or purpose behind it?

I am quite positive for this coin. I got eBtc as a free  airdrop. I think the supply of coin is very less so I am expecting it to rise to 5$ in coming 7-10 days. I will be holding this coin. I won't sell unless it touches 5$ per coin. I hope it will continue to rise.

Ebtc has a major programming flaw it seems ... (search on twitter on 'crypt0 - Omar Bham') ... Everything is being dumped now on Etherdelta. Sold mine yesterday for 4 eth luckily. Could be FUD, but price is dropping like hell at this moment..

It really is pretty neat if you ask me. I really do think it is a great coin. Had a great and easy airdrop. Plus it seems it has a great developing team for it is going smooth so far. Has a lesser supply which is a good thing in making it rare and get a high price in the market when it gets there.

The coin of the EBTC is not particularly different from the others. However, if it has a fast transaction time, this is already good. Let's see how it will show itself in the future. While there is very little information about it.

I didn't find many information about it, and I missed their airdrop. I know people from the airdrop got a really great profit from it and are quite happy with it. Don't know if it's price will continue to increase like that, since it already drop a bit. Also right now it's only on a decentralized exchange as far as I know, and that may keep away some investors. I don't have anything against the exchange, but it's harder to use than the normal ones (at least for now).

to my knowledge ebtc was one of almost the same coin with value prices but not bitcoin is similar, because these new coins, I just know it, but many say that this coin has similarities with bitcoin because it might be competing bitcoin, but I'm sure there will be no competitiveness bitcoin

Every erc20 token is same with other, because that was building on the ethereum platform and every feature that owned vy ethereum should be applied on these coins, you must no need to claim about that. Everyone know about that.

I missed the eBTC airdrop, though I don't think this would have a success but the current price is good for a airdrop coin. I would be filling this eDASH.

Why so many idiots want to get or grab the money through generate the useless coin. There is no advantage to use ebtc rather than using the main coin of the ethereum platform as ethereum token itself.

I also got my airdrop token and currently I still holding it.  for the first 3 days it exactly surging to the moon but after it hit .8$ marked someone is dumping and it feeld down to .2$ now it is currently consolidating at .3 - .4 value hope it can hold strong .3 support or else it will back to its ICO price :(

Apparently no one will complain after having received free coins from them and they have apparently given you a huge income boost right now. It is usually normal and everyone who understands the market knows that it is just pure hype and mere pump, that is all. I am not saying it is not a nice project but I don't usually like pumped coins just to stir the market. I hope you guys made the best of it though since the value is back to normal now as expected from every pump.

The only unique thing about eBTC is the flawed contract that enables the developer to airdrop them endlessly. Its value was based on hype thanks to the name and the low volume bump that happened go really high.

Currently the prices of alts are down, during such time I cannot understand why anyone would put their money on altcoin like eBTC. It couldnt be any worse choice. Its price has been going steadily down for days. There is only one address, bottom.

I believe that EBTC will increase but not in just a short time, it is good for long term.It was soon released on to the exchange soon after the airdrop.And his was distributed through airdrop also and yes its total supply is 21,000,000 so probably it will move up.It looks like interesting and promising project with good developer team and good idea.

I think it's another coin, which hope make some hype with BTC in the name. And eBTC did it!But now price was dumped and eBTC do not need anyone no more.

I think it is great to get free coins via air drops and this one although it was listed on ether delta price zoomed to 0.71 usd and 2450 free coins made it worth close to 1800 usd. I would prefer to hold it for some time to see how the coin appreciates and how the developer takes it forward

I don't thing so cause price growing up and up without any real value, but great  promising to be the bitcoin on ethereum.

It will be like BCH, that will  pump at soe point then when it dips, it will be hard to recover . It will be good for trading but not for holding, since more coins connected to every btc correction will be produced.

I'm not sure what the craic is with the coin or what the craic is with the price but I hope, for the love of god, that is does something the original Bitcoin  ;D

The market cap is low at the moment and the price just crashed by more than 40% in one day. No major exchanges are listing it.

I really don't get the idea(perhaps i'm just dumb), however, what's the point of having a bitcoin token on the ethereum network if it's not pegged to bitcoin in any way? It just doesn't make sense to have it there - people can just use ethereum instead?

To me, this is more about hype...
