Sorry but I don't speak very well italian.

Could you confirm his translations are very bad?

He's likely French. Maybe he also speaks some Italian (after all, we are neighbours :)), his translations look rather fair although there are some mispelled words and they clearly appear as done by some non-native speaker.

That thread was deleted, so I can't check it any more.
Then again, it actually looks like those translations come from a non-native speaker, and I won't generally recommend relying on a translator whose mother tongue differs from the target language. I don't think he's just used Google Translate though: I picked some random sentences, and found some of them sound as perfect Italian, while some others contain trivial grammar errors.
The overall impression is certainly not much professional, yet better than what you usually get from Google or any other automatic translation, though I can't guarantee he didn't manage to do it that way.
Anyway, I don't know that user, I just see he uses to write on the French section and only a few posts here.

I just checked. Italian it's not his native language, he did a decent job but could have done better.
