That is pretty normal for the price of bitcoin to have some downs and immediately up in the price because the market of bitcoin is getting crowded as well as the market of ethereum so it will be going more volatile in the next more time and days so if you are a trader then you will gonna like it because that will serve you as an opportunity to trade faster and make more money in a faster way.

The Top 10 by market Cap in the last 24hrs of trading has been fairly static, no major moves at all one way or another

Bitcoin (BTC) barely budged up a measly 0.07% @ $4802.85

Time stood still for Ether (ETH) @ $298.87 only moving up 0.29%

Ripple (XRP) was the only mover and shaker of note with a 5.85% rise to $0.265904 making up the ground lost previously, I still am tipping this coin to hit the $0.30 Mark in near future

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) was the only noticeable loser in the top 10 down 4.5% @ $317.40

LiteCoin (LTC) leaned forward with a mini rise up 0.63% @ $50.51

DASH has increased by 2.25% @ $292.23

NEM a minimal rise of 0.21% @ $0.217266

NEO made ground and broke the $30 mark up 4.65% @ $30.81

IOTA @ $0.467953 & Monero @ $87.19

Could be, but I'm more inclined to think that alts will still take a beating and more people will move their money to btc until the last week of October to take advantage of the upcoming hard fork. Many people saw what happened in BCH, the coin was pumped and afterwards, the profits flown to bitcoin for a big push. Maybe this time around, we'll see higher highs and possibly $6000+ by the end of October.

The thing is right now, you really can't be losing money with all the greens and pumps around.

Wow, just looking at this thread from more than 14 days ago and see that bitcoin was $2000 less than at the moment's price is insane, it is incredible the way that bitcoin has been increasing in the last few days, how much will it go up before the fork? i dont know, but everybody will try to buy more during those days before october 25th.
Seeing this i really agree that it is possible to reach $10k before the end of the year, or at least $7,5k

Allmost all altcoins have gained today, some even with +10% (such as Neo). Yesterday, the day before the hard fork, it was a nice day to buy some altcoins  :)

Old thread digged up for the same reason. We noticd that bitcoin price grows almost 800 US dollars change with the 18 hours from the current forum time.
Actually everyone expects this value as a peak value in this year December but the value grows to that much before one month before itself. I really doubt that there is any reason for the 1st day of this month.

Not everyone follows the growth rate of prices of bitcoin. I don't watch. I keep the coins. I'll hold on to them for many years. I am not going to sell bitcoins even if the price is $ 15,000. I think that people very much focus on the current price. It matters only for traders, but they are a very small percentage of all users of the cryptocurrency.

Positive movements for all coins apart from….wait for it….Bitcoin!
