There was some rumor floating around that a big investment group/newsletter said that it was a good buy.     I think people are just buying the rumor.     I hope it keeps going up,  but it's been pretty flat for a while.    Kind of seems like a pump and dump - but who knows.

I don't think it's a good time to buy Stellar. The price has pumped in last 24 hours with rumors. Soon we can buy it in a dip.

Yeah, I try to avoid buying on the pump,  but you never know how high it will go.   I think stellar has a long way to go in terms of upward price,  but it's too early to tell what this is.

I don't think there's anything valuable regarding Stellar, just pumps and dumps on it. I won't be picking any up.

you can not be precise with STR, but I'm optimistic that its rising for good

i didn't even notice that bittrex added stellar to their exchange. i think stellars time passed. there isn't any developlement news.

Rumors always pump the price but what we are really invest in is the technology behind a cryptocoin. So what makes Stellar a better investment than Ripple? I reckon those 2 platforms have the same codebase in the beginning. But what has Stellar been doing that is different? How does both reach consensus and who does it better?

Still have many choices, not only to stellar, i think the best choice is to bitcoin because there will be hardfork again in the near future

Stellar coins is always dancing with market price graph. I dont see any reason for stellar to increase a high price, after a bit for sure it will decrease its price again. Just wait for a dump again and go buy some stellar and sell it if goes high a bit afterward. Just dont hold it for a long term profit.

what does it do that would make it stand out?  how is it different from all the shitcoins out there?

This type of coin is seamless for you to have in the short term,just speculate, sorry if wrong

Stellar Lumens increased nice in the last two days, but I think this was just a sign for Ripple XRP pump. We all know that these two coins move similar just they did in July 2017.
We all wait for Ripple Swell event this month, and there will be a pump soon. Stellar Lumens increase was just a preparation for that. Just follow Ripple XRP and you will be fine

@faaty. You may be correct. Ripple and Stellar have shown to be pumped side by side by the whales in the past. If you buy one, you also have to buy the other to not miss a sure profit opportunity.

Stellar will maybe go up a little but more but I think it will not go up so long, because it already had a huge pump last month.. Maybe its better to watch out for some other coins..
