I think you should let people know the kind of job you want done. So that people can determine if they are suitable for the job or not.

Yeah, before estimating a price, we would need to know the type of work which needs to be done. Would you please elaborate a little more please?

Alright then.

The job :

First of all, I need a bitcoin wallet set up on my VPS

and for the web development part,
I need a small PHP Social Network system,
that has an integrated mini betting-game (which is what the bitcoin wallet will be partially for)

Also part of that system, a trading system where people will trade services/goods for bitcoin
(where they will use the balance of their bitcoin wallet in the site for)

The name is still being thought of, so I haven't bought a domain name yet
(probably need some suggestions too xD)

The Payment :

I will pay 40$ (about 0.3+ BTC)
after one month of release of the site

and in the succeeding months
30% of total income.
I will receive 40% and the other 30% will be
used for site development in the future,

and if site development is not needed we split 15% additionally.

So. Anyone up for the job?
I have the VPS already.

How about posting a listing on my website:
www.bitrecruit.com (http://www.bitrecruit.com)

At least you'll get a few more responses.

This is a great way to make sure your code is:

1. unmaintainable
2. very insecure
3. breaks arbitrary

LOL @ $40. You're paying someone $4 a hour or something?

20x it. You're handling money. You don't hire an amateur web developer to handle money.

1. VPS is nothing special. I can get a VPS for $5 from rackspace

2. If u are serious about this business, you need a good partner. You will not find a good partner for the terms you are offering here.

3. If u are looking for a good partner, we developed Bitfication, the Brazilian bitcoin exchange. We put it online in just 2 weeks. It now turns over $5k per day, the owner has made a nice return on his initial investment

I suggest u start thinking like a businessman in terms of risk / reward rather than just oh the lowest price is best. Do some simple calcs, work out how much you can make, then budget for the project. Otherwise you're just wasting time.

Are you INSANE?!?

You want to hire an amateur to build a site which handles money, paying him with peanuts, and then taking a huge share of the profits... what would be your role in this? Why shouldn't he make it for himself?

You're exchanging currency for good/services.  One hack and all the money is stolen.  With an amateur dev, I guarantee you this will happen.
