Title: Web development
Post by: MoonIsBlue on October 07, 2017, 03:42:16 PM
Hello BTT,

I am thinking about starting a project and over the last week I've been starting to conceptualize it, create a problem-solve strategy and I am quite excited about it.

Unfortunately I do not possess any web development skills (should have payed more attention during IT class..).

So my question is rather straightforward what do I look for when hiring a web developer? Cryptocurrency and automated payment plays a role in the website.

Very gratefull for any help I can get with my question.

Maybe you could ask for a portfolio? You're honestly better off posting your requirements in the Services section. You can talk directly with web devs then.

You could start by going to somewhere more specialized in web development - like digitalpoint or flippa. If you are going to be launching some kind of new currency, that will rely on software development more than any sort of web interface. You may require several different coding skills and even a graphic designer. It depends on your budget, timescale and complexity of the project. You would have to give more detail to get a better judge of price. There is even freelancer, they have a review system but the longer a programmer has been around and the more reviews, the less likely they are faked.

I'm going to do some deeper research into what is needed and post again on the service board to look for someone who's willing to work with me.
