Title: FPGA mining DE2 Cyclone II EP2C35F672C6
Post by: rcguymike on June 03, 2013, 06:32:27 PM
Wanted to post this elsewhere as someone was looking for it but guess I'll post it here.  This is a mod off of FPGAminer's work that I recompiled for the Altera DE2 boards(the regular ones, not 70 or 115).  All you need is quartus II installed(free from Altera's website(I used 9.2)), then edit the config.tcl to be your server and username of choice, double click the program.bat, and double click the mine.bat and it runs @10MH/s.  Not excessively fast but free to run at a school lab while you work:-)

And it will earn you pennies, and may well get you kicked out of school if you don't get permission first.

That said, bitcoin is a great incentive to learn fpga programming and kudos for your efforts.

For the curious, the main thread for fpgaminer is at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=9047.0
