Please I have difficulty in doing this any help?

It's not difficult. Just open your wallet. Your token balances is shown in right side of the page. Otherwise click on ''Load Token Balances'' button. You can also use Etherscan and Ethplorer.

Now the network is overloaded with a bunch of tokens and MEW do have problems, the easiest way to test your tokens https://etherscan.io

Log into your myetherwallet account using the private key. You will see your token balances on the right side of the screen.

If you dont see some of the tokens, you can go to etherscan.io and explorer under the Transaction History to see the tokens.

Those tokens that dont show up in the token balances, you can use "Add Custom Token" to see them.

If you just want to CHECK it, there is no reason to use myetherwallet and unnecessary copying around your private key or password.

Just check you address on some explorer like https://etherscan.io/ or https://etherchain.org/

then put your public address here then you can check your token balance and ETH balance

What type of token you have, you just enter the private key will be seen in the right corner of the contents of your balance.

you cannot check your balance offline if you download the zip file from https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet/releases/tag/v3.10.7.0 (https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet/releases/tag/v3.10.7.0) and run it on an offline computer right?
im trying to view wallet balance offline but nothing shows up...

I'm not sure what you are trying to share on the link (removed), why you need to download something just to see your token balance? It is so easy to check your token balance, some people has answered it already that is using etherscan, use this link for simple access https://etherscan.io/address/yourethaddress Change the 'yourethaddress' with your eth address then you will see your token balance on "View Tokens"

Maybe what he meant he want to download ETH offline wallet and he can see his balance on his Address by offline (although i don't know why he prefers offline wallet rather than online which is easier).

You can check it from within your myetherwallet by signing with your private key.
If you are not sure you can do this procedure,  or if it seems a longer way to track balanaces, then follow the procedure below to view all balanaces in single page.

This is the same link myetherwallet redirects you when you clink a link inside.

I think that this is something very easy. You only provide your wallet data (login) after that you can get or do checking on the right side of the token column. If there appears red writing you just follow the instructions given then all tokens that you have will appear in the column. Remember you should be able to keep your wallet data, because now many viruses can easily take your wallet forcibly. Or maybe if you still have confusion, maybe you can look into etherscan.io and ethplorer.io, there you just give your address addres eth.

Just load token,If not see token you can added custom token details.

load token  and you will find your token balance in myeterwallet , but some tokens need to add custom token

you need to find your tokens Contract Address , Token Symbol , Decimals , fill it and you can check your balance now.
