In this case there isn't much danger unless a hacker knows that the bitcoin address is tied to a wallet that is in your computer that he knows how to access/hack into. So don't go on bragging about your riches and you should be fine. :P

Keep your stash in a safe place (such as a paper wallet), but be sure you understand how it works or you might just lose everything. Practice on some small sums before committing your life savings. |
