Some countries are already testing the waters to do so. How they can say that their crypto-fiat currencies would be decentralized I don't know, they would have to sell that part to the public.

It is hard to integrate paper money in a decentralized way, so with our current knowledge, complete disappearance of fiat is a bit of a stretch.
I think that Switzerland is a best example of what future might look like, they are always the best and are always ahead of their time. Title: Re: Collapse or Integration?
