ICO Extension of Initial Coin Offering. If it means the earliest coin offer before it is launched into the free market.

 
Where the ICO will work

ICO is created and offered by developers to investors to realize their projects. and in the end they become coin holders who will be laounching to the market.

Advantages of ICO

For developers they will get funding to accelerate the projects they develop so that they can be enjoyed by many people. for investors later obtain tokens that can be traded in the exchange market of course with a cheaper price.

Disadvantages of ICO

SCAM or capital that we have been disbursed run away by the develop

ICO Investment

ICO will become a digital currency that can be a medium of exchange

Yup, I agree, this is definitely what I know as of the moment about ICO.
That why we need to be careful about investing in ICO because of scam, you must read first the white page before you invest and don't just put money on the ICO you didn't understand.

Many ICOs are now called Token Crowdsale or Token Sale Event.

It was called ICO because it was thought to be like an IPO, an Initial Public Offering. Really it is closer to crowd-funding for early stage businesses. Most IPOs are of established companies, most ICOs are for new ideas where the product does not even exist yet.

There are many other things you need to know even before you get into any ICO. Most ICOs are scam. Almost 99%. There are those 1% which are sometimes very hard to identify and sometimes not discovered at all unless the project have smart marketing techniques.

Always do your due diligence before investing. Read the ICO and try to digest what it wants to tell you. Does the project makes any sense or does it not. Study the project, study the market and people behind it. How good are their communication and how are they dealing with issues. Sometimes just be an observer and start to observe all this small small things. Sometimes you do find those SO GOOD TO BE TRUE. For projects like that, take a step back. but then observe and try to study. There are plenty to learn about greed of men in here and the mistakes they commit and those that they oversee.

There are scams, but I don't think 99% are scams. The majority are just bad and will likely fail. Read:

Icos is about tokenization of the platform and that was offering the real ownership about the platform, but since some poeple are using it just to collect the money but a lot of people is really smart right now.

ICO or ITO is really convenient way of attracting money for good projects. There should be respectful source to check projects if they are scam or not to prevent of bubble growing.

ICO it is the future of everything that will happen on economics.

ICo is basically funding some other guy for early bird reward. It shows your trust in project and lot of dreams becomes real by that way. But some people use this to make quick bucks.
