Title: Other than ICO?
Post by: MediBloc on October 09, 2017, 04:38:55 AM
There are too many ICOs in thesedays.
Do you suggest any other new method to do Initial Coin distribution way which people can invest and get distributed the coin they are interested in.

Presale/Airdrops. Although I think airdrops are the most efficient way to get a token to a community. Although the dev team won't make too much it's better to get the product more well known than to get money in the short term.

Many coins have been launched without ICOs - it's not a "must use" method of crowdfunding/gathering resources. A recent example is Ethfinex, who isn't going to offer an ICO to launch its product... More projects should do this, it's way more legitimate in my opinion!

There are different ways of token distribution during ICO exist. I suppose there won't be any new way of crowdsale in the near future. It's all about the way of ICO conducting.

Yes, at present all the possibilities were through ico. There won't be any other way to make the ICO distribution. Other than this sometimes the asset directly gets distributed to the exchanges. For this a good funding team is a must. Such kinds of assets were very low in number.

As far as I am concern, there are so many tokens at the market that doesn't even launched any ICOs or airdrops and some other methods, but it ends that they became successful.

Maybe airdrop is an easy way to introduce coins to the community, something fun because participants get free coins. Just wait a while for a great exchange.

I think presales are much better than ICO as it happens generally privately. Anyways my favourite is just funds. You are basically buying share of fund in the name of coins. And they quarterly pay guarenteed dividend. It is quite same with icos but with guarenteed returns.

Why do you think presales are different than ICOs? In 90% it's just ICO with bigger bonuses.
However, I still find ICOs the post appropriate way to finance projects or Airdrops to create demand and decentralization.

Agree with you! But unfortunatelly not everyone can afford to participate in pre-sales, since usually the minimum amount is too high
