Title: search for pre-ann
Post by: Alex Sol on October 09, 2017, 03:21:01 PM
Hi,

how can I find all topics with [pre-ann] tag?  Could not do it through search  button.

Is there any specific rule for this kind of topic or just general one?

Thank you.

Click on the "advanced search" icon beside the search bar.

Fill up the form like so. You should be able to accomplish what you're trying to do:

And of course, click on "Search".

Pesonaly I never use direct forum search (trying to minimize the server load)

My way is to use google to search through forum.

In your case just put in google:
Quote
[pre-ann] site:bitcointalk.org
In addition you can also specify the timeframe e.g. last week or month

Thanks a lot!  An if you could  also please navigate me to the thread with the rules of posting for this kind of topics.  For ex, when is the right time to change [pre-ann] onto [ann] and etc.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you!  How you set timeframe in google search?

https://www.google.com/search?tbs=qdr:y&q=%s

Replace the y (for year) with d for day, w for week or m for month if you prefer a different range.
