I got a GTX 1070 connector which is where I can find a miner that will fit the needs of the card.

Go check out nicehash to get started now and then whattomine to see what else you could get involved with. I would say with 1 1070 you probably would be best suited to use nicehash until you get more cards or read and learn as much as you can to maximize your card settings.

I also started on Nicehash. For beginners this is the best option. Minimum settings and you in. What good is mining with GPU's the fact that if you do not have much money to buy more productive equipment, you can buy it gradually. You can always check the profitability of mining and to make an informed choice.
