What are your top 5 coins for investing long term and why did you choose them?

Although a lot of altcoin are there, where I usually use to invest my bitcoin, but still I think after bitcoin which is the top priority I think Etherium, Dash, Waves, LTC etc are some altcoin where I usually invest my bitcoin. but I present time when the price of bitcoin is increasing continuously therefore in present time my first priority is bitcoin and not any other altcoin.

Well in my own i was choosing an altcoin which is i can mine  i am choosing 5 coins the main is  bitcoin and the other altcoins are zcash, dash, litecoin, ethereum and XMR for cpu mining..  and this is altcoin are my top 5 but i was still waiting for the price increase of other altcoin since i mine some of them in GPU and hope that i also can buy L3+ for litecoin. the hardware price compare before is really high so i think i will wait until the price of that hardware getting reduced..
But in other coins i do nt have any problem with them mining using easy tools like nice hash and manual script (cmd version)

For me there isn't 5 currencies that worth investing on long term. If the intention is to make profit on long term it's better to hold the original currency, that all others follow the price, Bitcoin. Long term holders keep holding their Bitcoins without worrying too much about AltCoins, and I think they are right, alternative currencies at this moment have as main goal to be used when BTC network is overloaded.

Here are the top 5 crypto-currency Bitcoin,Ethereum,Litecoin,Ripple,Dash,its price can quickly grow and fall quickly,which makes them extremely volatile and risky.

It BTC, Litecoin, Ethereum, NEO, Ripple see perspectives in the future in these coins. It is good to earn on them it is possible

I will invest in ethereum, bitcoin, zcash, litecoin, and dash if I should make a decision of investing in just 5 coins. Bitcoin and ethereum has done well and for some of my past investment I have make some profit from it. I think dash is going to do well this year based on it performance last year. This is not a recommendation for any investors to buy above coins but just a personal view about those coinses.

Here I'll talk about 5 top crypto-coins, whose future is much brighter and every day transactions are much more.Such as:Dash,Eth,Ppt,Ltc and Neo. I believe that investing in these coins will get many benefits in the future. For a long time these coins will be very beneficial.

I'll go for ADA, ETH, NEO, IOTA and EOS for the long term. For more medium term speculative in 2018, i think something are brewing for BCH, ELA, ETC, VEN..

We don't predict the future possibilities but Bitcoin, Ethereum and ripple is the long term investing coins because most of the experts are trusted in Bitcoin and Ethereum so it will continuously growing coin and ripple is the banking support coin so this will going to moon in future. These are best potential Coin for longterm and other altcoins also good profitable platform but we don't trust all the coins in Crypto market.

My top 5 coins for long term investment are BTC, ETH, Neo, Omg and Monero. I invest in them after researching and found that the Neo, Omg and Monero have strong development team, all 5 coins have strong community support.

I only have two, Bitcoin and Ethereum. These coins I will hold through pretty much anything because if crypto grows then they'll almost certainly grow. I have other long term holdings but I'm constantly re-evaluating them.

eth, its wildy expected to overtake bitcoin in market cap. ltc, its fast transaction speed and low fees going with its one of the well known coins already . neo, its known as the Chinese eth and has a major support. Lisk, is side chains could be the next big thing if they can delivery. lastly the wild card is DeepOnion once its airdrop is complete it strong community should help it surge up quick and its unique projects its bringing to the privacy aspect to crypto makes it a coin to look at.

Top altcoins according to me ETH, NEO, NEM, Waves and LTC. I am holding all these coins and i am 100% sure i will make a huge profit in future. out of these 5 coins i strongly believe in ETH and NEO because The development team for these two coins are working hard and attracting more investors.

Actually, you have a very good choice, but I would also add from a very promising maniac Ripple.To date, the Western Union has begun to test and successfully use that project.

Getting coins for the long term is not really that difficult just pick some of the coins that have the biggest market cap and most of the time you will be fine, but some of the best coins that come to mind are bitcoin, obviously if you are going to invest long term then you have to pick bitcoin, and for the rest Ethereum, Monero, Litecoin and IOTA will be my choices.

Currently i hold eth and btc only for long term. Still dont have any good feelings for Holding other coins than both of them. But if i have more money, i will hold XRP, NEO and XLM.

Those coins always bring a good profit if we hold it for ling term. Just like a years ago

Ethereum and some good coin I think I can not share it because it's my personal portolio, the reason I am holding it because of the great community, the good news that is always given, the respone from the good team is transparent and in my opinion can make the demand on the coin is high.

BTC , ETH , XLM and EOS are the perfect hedge of your investment as in the long run they will make the google and apple out of the market. ( each of them compete at very technical level of transaction speed and ease of utility in development of decentralised apps )
And 0x well it's just has been good return on my investment  ;)

My top one is Waves.

I strongly believe in this project. It has anything it needs to be successful: great team, decentralized exchange, token creation, lending and even a multicoin wallet. Its price is rising, but it's still low compared to its value so I'm gonna buy more.

Waves is one of those coins in which I wonder why it does not have an higher value since it seems to have everything need except the support of the public, so there is either something I'm not seeing or it is simply the average investor has not realized the opportunity that is waves and as such it is one of the best investments we can make in the mid term.

I would agree with waves, since waves is so similar to IOTA and ETH. But the main problem is WAVES don't really make enough noise for the public to see how much better it is than ETH since it has its own Decentralized trading platform + wallet + a lot of more features all in one app that they develop themselves. This is quite different with ETH where they only created the coin and the platforms are created by others.

Waves - Because I think it's a great potential.

TIO - Exchange will be opened in April. I think it will rise.

CargoX - I like the project. I will hold it at least until the end of the year.

I am looking at two Bitcoin and Ethreum coins for myself - Bitcoin's main competitor. Although both coins are crypto-currencies, the purpose of their invention varies greatly.

I have some money in waves but I have seriously considering to turn that up but I have been doubtful because of my concerns expressed in my previous post but it seems I will have no other option but to follow my gut feeling and it is telling me to invest more heavily in waves I just hope to not screw it up and invest just when bitcoin skyrockets or something similar.
