It really depends on what your style of invest/trading, short/long term, stable/volatile

If you are one who prefer mainstream currency and can hold really long but don't want very high volatility (in Crypto), BTC/ETH/Waves and all the big brother will be your bagholding choice.

Personally SNT, DNT are choices for me as they are close to ICO price now

My personal buys during the dip are more WTC, some VEN and just recently buying some COSS actually very impressed with the coss platform and with a 3m marketcap it's an absolute buy

You can invest in top 10 - 20 coins, almost all of them are in a good dip right now due to btc fork

If you wanna invest today i would advise you waves and xel projects. They are the ones that dropped too much during this week and have a great raise potential in midterm. And of you check their volumes there are some people trying to collect.

Having 5k is better than having coins that worth 5k now. Market is in big bubble and I think it will burst soon. I analyzed charts of market and some coins and came to this conclusion.

you can try to divided your amount into some parts, but i think you should invest in the big crypto such as top 20 coinmarketcap which already dumped a lot in this time. or you can try to invest in those new coin or ico that already dumped by the investors. As far as i know about the fact you must try to put your amount in some baskets.

My first recommended your all money invest for Bitcoin i think it's a good decision because already you know Bitcoin hit going to be $5000.So it's time is perfect to invest .BTC big pump in next year i hope.

The best way to invest your money is to divide them and distribute investing on the coins you would want to invest, always remember not to put all the eggs in one basket. Always invest in Bitcoin too because that's the best coin to invest out of all the other coins in my opinion.

I think Status and Bitcoin are currently the best coins to buy. Status is very cheap. Bitcoin is going to have hard fork so we will see bull run. And Taas is good one as well they will give dividend.

It has come to a point where almost every alt is seeing huge dips. Anything you buy will multiply your BTC, most probably. But will the BTC price be same than? I don't think so.

Divide your money in 10 - 20 altcoins won't give you much profit. Your money will likely same from year to year.
Advice to OP, i suggest you to buy Bitcoin only for now, and wait until Hardfork for bitcoinGold happened, you will have free money and the price would be higher than BitcoinCash has.

it is obvious! buy bitcoin because it is rising and it is showing all the signs of continued rising for the foreseeable future. you buy at something like $4200-$4500 and enjoy the rise up to however much it goes.

ETH on the other hand that you mentioned here is dropping fast, so again it is obvious, you should stay away from it and wait until you see the dumping stop. if it stopped and you speculated a rise then invest. if it stopped and you speculated more drop after it then continue staying away.

Invest in different altcoin that has a potential to grow. My best choice I have now is btc, waves and eth these are my top choice. In btc preferrably you will earn by holding because as of today price will continue to rise.

I think you must choose bitcoin for me this is try and tested why? Because some of my coins was invest in bitcoin so that i trust bitcoin that they wouldn't lose my coins so that give my full trust that my coins increasing the currency so that i suggest to you that try bitcoin to invest you coins and for sure that you trusting in coin also like me.

I would suggest you invest a little money in different coins. A little on Eth and much on waves because their have potencial can growed up very high in near future

maybe you can split your fund into 3-4 parts and you can trying to buy btc, eth, but for the ico, i think you need to read the details of their project because there are too many ico out there that can make you confuse. its better to know the details because we can compare from one ico with other ico so we know where we invest. but i think you don't have to buy the ico and only wait when the ico is release in the market then you can buy at the market and then you can hold for a long term.

depends on what timeframe you're trying to get in. ETH is selling off right now, I suspect it is due to a combination of BTC having a massive erection and the upcoming ETH update. Great opportunity for big boys to get into ETH at a lower price before everyone goes full retard over the update. The only hard thing is to find a bottom at the moment.

Ethereum is good to invest now the price is cheap and it will rise high soon. Its platform is the most use with most Ico and yes it is good to buy and invest ethereum. It will grow your money but ofcourse search other altcoins to hold so the $5k will give a return of profit.

i think many bitcoin holders are keeping their bitcoin as is than investing in altcoins at the moment
because of the coming fork
take it to consideration as well buying some dump alts , many alts are expected to moon after the fork

I would disagree with that. Even if once the market explodes due to false price and expectations for the better future, it is not likely to happen soon, for lots of people are only getting to know about cryptocurrencies and some know none except of bitcoin. I believe that nowadays bitcoin would be the best investment. You can simply buy 1 btc when the price does down a bit and buy some coins you feel like buying for another couple of hundreds of dollars. I am almost sure btc will bring one good profit in a year from now.

Just invest that money on altcoins now that they are so cheap, you might get a great return if their price recovers soon, just check coinmarketcap, you will notice that they all are in red numbers, you can take profit from this situation if you invest.
Anyway, maybe we are really on a bubble, but nobody knows about it, and if it is true, then dont invest, you are not forced to invest your money on cryptos.

i put something like 80% of my investment in it
my only regret is that i didn't wait this dip

If you are wise, don't invest now wait for all this dump to end and start picking the coins to invest into, there several coins to invest into that have good prospect but now the ALtcoin market is bleeding and I think we have not seen the end

You should invest on ICO or a solid coins that will give you huge profit. but if you stick on bitcoin then stay on bitcoin it will go up eventually..
