Trust me it is going above 6k soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think 6000$ is to early :)
But after some good news it can rise up even to 10000$. Just need another government accept bitcoin like payment system.

lets see if it happen! its too early too predict but i hope so cause this will benefit all of us bitcoin lovers :)
Upcoming fork cant stop the bitcoin price from rising. This will come true! No negative news or fake news instead more investors to come

I think bitcoin could be hit above only $5k until the fork end. . like the other said its too early to determine that the price can be touch at  $6k value since the price still not hit in $5k value.. The price was increased these days but hoping that we can see more movement these following days. If bitcoin break $5k value expect that after fork the price was hit $6k value above..

It is true, because most people are predicting it, and it will probably happen because there are more buyers than sellers, and this is the first cause of why bitcoin is rising so quickly.
Probably it will touch $5000 before the end of the week, and maybe we can see $6000 a few weeks after the fork is done, i am sure of that, of course.

I totally agree that bitcoin will go past 6k but let’s get past 5k before we start targeting prices so high :)

As of now the price is near at 5k dollars and its already 497p dollars at this time . And for sure once bitcoin reach 5k dollars you will earn profit and i expect the price will continue to increase and we will see the next target price its 6k dollars and I hope it will happen soon. Maybe next week it will happen or next month. But we dont know when it happen the price maybe increase or decrease.

In the near future interest in bitcoin is only going to grow. There will only be more and more publicity as the price continues to rise and that will continue to attract more and more investors, it's kind of a never ending cycle until something goes wrong.

$6k is fine with me

I think that the only way Bitcoin would go to $6000 soon is if the price doesn't stall at $5000. The $5000 could be a resistance level where some people sell so the price could drop from $5000. If people don't sell then it's possible that the price keeps going up and it could reach $6000 before the end of the year. It's hard to say but if enough weak traders were already shaken out of the market, it's possible we won't see the sell off this time.

I agree. I also think we're going to stabilize at $5000 and stay there for a few months. $6000 won't be too far away after that though. I predict we'll reach that point by June next year.

There seems to be no doubt for me to this statement, I'm also convinced that bitcoin price will soon lead to $6000 and sure will be achieved it. It's good we don't rush to sell it, don't miss a good chance.. I think it's true bitcoin price still can continue to increasing.

Yes, while getting closer to the round figured barriers everytime there will be stalling. Even now the same might happen as more and more people are getting into bitcoin usage. If the price gets pumped as the previous time when the price was around $1500 directly moving in large multiples, surely we'll reach $6000 in much lesser time.

I agree. With the upcoming hard fork this November, the price will go down. After that, it may be possible for the price to hit $6000 once it breaks above the $5000 boundary. I'll be expecting there to be a huge price increase after the fork this November, especially since Christmas season will be fast approaching. It's going to be hard to tell what the price will be by the end of the year but I expect it to be near that number or probably even higher. We are sometimes wrong because we are only speculating and the turn out is even higher than we thought it would be.

It's increasing now and definitely after the fork and when the btc holders already gets the bitcoin gold,then they will start selling again their btc to buy some alts, that3 the trend wvery fork.

It's quite early to celebrate because up to this moment bitcoin does not reach $5000 but the good thing is that it continue to appreciate and chances are it can still go up and can possibly reach $6000 but I think that will happen maybe in 2018 not this year. Just hope and let's see and pray for the best in bitcoin.

Buying alts with BTC after the BTG fork will be foolish, in my opinion. Look at what happened after the BCH fork. The exchange rate of Bitcoin increased by almost 50% in a month's time (which was more than that of the altcoins). What you will do, if the same happens this time? My advise would be to wait a bit before jumping in to altcoins.

Things might be different in this hard fork, after people receive their BTG, they could just move it to altcoin without even thinking about the price of BTC anymore, maybe you think that 50% increase in form of BTC is such a big deal, but with altcoins, you might get more than 50%, and also, the price of altcoins is rather lower than bitcoin.

Yeah at lease you are saying about soon and when? is there the actual date about that? It seems the bitcoin is very difficult to pass the resistance on $5k. the bitcoin needs more people to buy it and make the price will be very high.

There are no actual date mate. But soon it will happen cause as we see bitcoin now is increasing beacuse of some good reason that happening now in the market. Maybe there's a lot of buyers now beacuse of this scenario bitcoin increasing to the predicted value. Maybe in the first week of November bitcoin will reah $5000 or $6000 its to early right. But ithink this scenario is just a beginning. In my prediction if bitcoin continue to rise until year end ithink bitcoin will reach up to $10000.

Definitely, bitcoin value was possibly reach the $6000 before end of the years and I was hoping that it will continue until next year. I believe that when bitcoin raised up immediately more people are encourage to join and take a job in bitcoin community.

Yes its going to hit $6000 but I think maybe in the first quarter of 2018 not this year because its more of only $5000 up to the end of this year. Anyway we'll see if bitcoin will soar that high it's still unpredictable so we cannot tell if it will pump or dump.

The current bitcoin price has increased to 4800USD. the current increase has proven that bitcoin has a chance of passing 5000USD and then reaching 6000USD within the next few months. this is remarkable because bitcoin nowadays always shows a very positive trend, this path must be maintained and we must use bitcoin to help improve its development. Because bitcoin prices will decrease again if fewer people use bitcoin.

I can see that btc is now going up and I think the FUD made because by the recent events in china related to crypto is over. It's going to be a really merry for us when it hits  $6k on christmas.

If we should go to a new ATH, what seems very likely at the moment, a rise of more than 6k is needed imo to have a solid support at 5k when pulling back.
If we should only go to 5500 for instance and turn down it can go to 4k and lower again.
Therefore 6-7k is the aim we should look for.

Yes it had a chance to reach that price. But for now we don't need to rush that to happen. Since the value of bitcoin is so volitile we should not expect that much. You must be patience if you really wish for that. For now just enjoy the high value of BTC.

If we reach the 6k then fees also will increase big we cannot able to bear that and investors will fear to invest on bitcoin with the sudden growth. If the value started increasing to 5k this year. That would be decent price hike, if bumps suddendly you have to worry about the upcoming fork.

$ 5,000 is not much of a psychological barrier. I remind you that the price was already at that level. Now waiting on the fork are very large and the high tomorrow you'll see the price 5K. Then she will go up dramatically and maybe not 6K is the limit. In November, after the correction, the price may drop to $ 5,000 but below it will not.

after fork we can see what may really happen, for now since the hard fork before were successful,we are aiming to grab the opportunity to have some free coins too. Dump may happen after fork.

i would say it goes up to 5k by the end of the year and with good news it might rise even more in 2018 but there might also come some drops before because of new government-rules like we saw it in china a couple of weeks ago. But all in all i'm definitely bullish on btc.

I don't understand what you mean. Going to 5500 isnt going to be any different to going over 6k. its not going to cause panic buying or selling.

He never said it will cause panic buying or selling but apparently, anything can happen even if it gets to $5500 as the value can get pulled back a bit and the possibility of us having it back at $4*** is still going to be possible.

What Decker is saying is that with 6-7k, it will be hard for the market to test the waters at that point of $4k+ again and by then we will have it hovering hopefully around 6-7k or 58** at worst.

It will go above $6000 some time later next year. I suppose 1st Quarter can be a good start since we can rally the price by the end of the year up to $5500. Let's just wait and see what will happen on October 25 and after it. Hoping the fork will not hurt that much. 

I do think so. Bitcoin will reach $6k mark in end of this year.

That price I think might be reachable before the year ends unless there will be some FUDS that will stop btc reaching that this year. Still that end of the year is soon, it is still 4 months before the year ends and a lot of action can happen by that time. Still I believe btc would reach 6000$ before year ends. The possibility of it reaching that point is high if things continue the way they are now and I hope it will really reach 6000$ as expected.

I trust you that the price of bitcoin is possible to reach $6,000 very soon. But we have to see first bitcoin's price at $5,000 if not don't get too excited much with $6,000.

For now due to the bicoin gold craze everyone is crazy to buy more bitcoins to get some bitcoin gold after the fork. And I have also some confidence that it's possible to happen before and after December.

Oh great, Bitcoin goes to $6000, and then what? It's just a ~27% increase from current levels. It makes only sense to celebrate if you have a sizable position into this market. At this point it's safe to say that the majority of the people can't afford to buy themselves a whole Bitcoin anymore, and thus stick to 0.1BTC chuncks, or even smaller. But still I see people celebrating and cheering and talk like they have won the jackpot just because the price goes up and they made a few hundred bucks. People with smaller chunks should be holding (assuming that they don't need the funds in their private life) their coins at least till they made a minimum of 100%, otherwise it's definitely not worth selling for.

You are just making a mere assumption which may come to reality and may not come to reality so there is no point trusting Brother since you have no evidence of how your assumption will come to. Reality brother. For now the target is for the market to break the long awaited $5,000 before we talk of $6,000 in the nearest future.

OMG yes of course I believe but sometime when it happened,6K$ is not something small this year I think it will not reach it because it's too easy for a dump whale.

That depends on your definition of soon. If by soon you mean next year then I absolutely agree but if your definition of soon is before this year ends, then I have to disagree. Bitcoin has some events to happen that might shake the market. The upcoming hardforks, the tendency of panic selling, whale dumping. This will be a bumpy year for Bitcoin especially these following months. Next year, I am absolutely certain that Bitcoin will reach 6000 USD and will even surpass that value.

I think we got a resistance value at $4800. And bitcoin will be around that value for some days and not breaking the 5000$ . And there is a fork scheduled on 25th Oct and another in the November. So bitcoin might cross 6000$ after that.

Well to be fair we have also got a legendary member saying the same over at bitcoin discussion. I know that doesn't prove anything but it looks like a few people believe its possible.

Of course it will go above in $6k but not today it will eventually gonna go $6k in the future. Maybe after the hard fork on November or maybe next year who knows but it will gonna face a lot of forks in the meantime. That's how bitcoin works everyday it may go up and down but you also take the advantages when it's too wavy. Recently i noticed that bitcoin is urging to go to rise and i thought that it would gonna to $5k but it's not. It just stays on $4900 so far but still i have a strong feeling that it will going to rise at $5k at this month and i just don't know when it is exactly.

Legendary members are a dime a dozen these days. Just because they have spent a lot of time in this forum doesn't mean that they are good at price predictions (me included. :D) That said, $6k is not too far off.

I dunno. It's struggling to break through the $5000 ceiling. How many times has it tried to go over $5000? Is this the third?

If it can't push through it will slip back downwards (carried by the automatic trading bots).

Haha yeah not all of them are good in speculations  as some of them mostly fail in predictions but I admit there are some that are really good in prediction but I got what jjacob wants to tell about those legendary members. $6,000 so we've got to deal more $1,200 before seeing it landing at that price. I want to see it badly too but for now I'm very confident about $5,000 first before it goes to $6k.

Those who do well in the markets will be the first ones who will benefit with the rising price of Bitcoin. Especially those who can well afford to buy themselves bitcoins for investment. For the smaller investors, it would be better off starting with Altcoins then moving on to the big coins once they have a sizable  amount.

It's much more likely to hit $3K again... More and more companies are AGAINST Seg2x and they don't want to let the decision to miners.

We can assume/predict all we want but it's just too soon. Don't skip the $5000 mark yet since we're still strugglin' in the $4000. Though many have predicted that the value would go much higher, but still, just an assumption. Just don't get too hyped 'coz we might get dissapointed in the end. ;)

I've been thinking the same, but I'm also hearing that many people are just sitting out trading until the hard fork. Might not move much before then.

It's really strange to see how expectations for crypto have become so different, isn't it? If you told anyone that they might get a 25% profit from an investment after 5 years, they would still be skeptical. But we have seen that same if not more in a number of days with crypto. For me, my crypto is a few hundred dollars from 8 months (profit is maybe half). That is already amazing for me, and I am happy I took advantage. 0.1 chunks is HUGE for me, if I had that now I almost double my gains!

But i think that it may hit before Seg2x hard fork and as most of them are expecting that it will boost after hardfork that time it will get hammered as it will get failed and we can see the price moving around 3k or even 2k around.

Well, how the November fork will turn out is unpredictable at the moment. But the upcoming one this October will even cause more push up in value for bitcoin. I will be dumping my BCG for BTC as fast as possible anyway once the coast gets cleared and I am pretty sure everyone have the same thing in mind. Apparently, we what we have at this stage, the price will shoot up even higher after the first fork like we had in August.

I hope you all realize that this current high bitcoin price is only caused by the promise of hard fork and potential airdrop of Bitcoin Gold for anyone owning bitcoin at the moment of fork.
We may expect rather severe crash as soon as that event will end and bitcoin price could drop back even to $3xxx level.

Yes, I hope it happens soon. Bitcoin broke through $6K and i'm sure. Bitcoin holders will enjoy to harvest for second time. Bitcoin is a phenomenal investment trend.

I guess bitcoin can really soar $6000 soon its still increases and continue to surprise with its value appreciation I only thought it could go up to $5000 but not higher than this but now it seems its going higher and higher as the time passes by I just hope this pump will continue and that no upcoming dump will be experience again..

Maybe prices would go about 6000 dollars soon too as Bitcoin price has already crossed 5000 dollar mark today so it can be said that bitcoin prices may cross 6000 dollars till the end of 2017 and hope so.

Not immediately but some time after a few months, we cannot say right away that it could easily hit that level anytime soon just because it has already recovered from previous dip as I noticed the current movements of its price doesn't appear or doesn't giving a sign that it will be breaking a new price wall . But we will see it after this month ends .

After any pump is the dump. So it will be until people have money to buy new coins. As soon as people run out of money, the whales can sell their coins and crash the market bitcoins to the bottom. It will be a huge dump. But until that happens you can ride the waves.

Yes, it is growing so fast, i am wondering about how much will drop after the hard fork on november, i really hope that the price is not going to drop, but it needs to happen, we are facing a huge bullish trend lately, and it need to touch the ground now, if not, then maybe we are in a giant buble.
There is always a little dump after a big pump, so it is normal, it needs to happen.

It has been a while that resistance has been hard to break even before the recent mid September FUD. No one still knows how that would play out yet before the first fork, but I believe once it breaks that $5500, then coming back down may be a bit hard. Most of the movement we are seeing now is as a result of the altcoin dump and most of the new huge investors may still want to know how the November event will turn out first, but however it is, anything is possible.

Upward trend has started now and we can expect the same in coming weeks too and now I don't think that it will take too long to achieve that price as we may see that price at the end of this month and if it achieves that price then we may touch the $8k price by the end of the year and I am very much optimistic about it and holding my coins tight to sell at that price.

It may be risky because correction is still not happening but we are now at $5,300 so this is possible that we are going to break the wall of $6,000 barrier soon. And if this happens for sure the correction will be occurring at the rate of $5,000 - $5,500. So you are waiting for $4,000 again soon? If I were try to keep on buying right now while the price is still moving up, and when it goes to $5,500 then sell and wait for the dip.

Everything looks extremely good right now. Bitcoin only needs a few more step before it hit $6000. I can not believe that bitcoin can reach $6000 so fast. I mean, I know that bitcoin has a potential to hit $6000. But only in about 2 weeks, bitcoin has made a big move and almost reach $6000. Well, maybe I do not trust bitcoin like other people do and now I regret for what I have done such as buying ethereum :(

No need to get worried this happen to everyone at least once. You tough that ETH will be good call i made mistake back when i invested in LTC and bitcoin went up.
Learn from this mistake and trust your instinct to invest in bitcoin, dont try to make with some other coin when time is not right.

But for bitcoin price think that it wont stop on 6k it will go much higher then anyone expect, this is only the begging.

Actually its not impossible for the bitcoin to reach 6000 dollars. If you check the value of BTC right its to close with the 6k dollars. As we all know bitcoin surpass its struggle with the China, but if you look things now , the bitcoin continue to grow and better that before.

I do not really see how that will pose as a major challenge and make investors get scared in investing cause of the growth.
Every investor understands the value of whatever they want to invest in and obviously will not look at the present but what they have to gain later on.

It is normal for the volatility to be high like this knowing that the adoption is still growing and development is still ongoing, but looking back from where it all started, then it is obviously still worth it.

Yeah its not imposible that this will happen as soon as possible, for now the price of bitcoin was 5500+ USD, so its really sure that anytime this will be happen, but it can also happen that the price go down because we all know that the price of bitcoin was volatile, so don't surprised if that happen.
