UPDATE 3AM 6/7/2013 Once the first 35 shares are sold for a Saturn 175GH/s miner, I will continue to accept another 35 more share purchases to facilitate the upgrade to the purchase of a Jupiter 350GH/s miner. If this is a success, I will receive 3 more shares outstanding for a total of 10. Each share of the Jupiter purchase would be 1/80th of the BTC proceeds from a KNC Miner Jupiter mining 24/7 for 24 months*

All shares are 1 BTC each. This group buy needs 0 remaining shares at 1 BTC each to be sold to purchase a preorder Jupiter 350GH/s (Instead of Saturn 175GH/s miner) from KNCMiner. If these 70 shares at 1 BTC each are purchased, every share will payout 1/80th of the expected hashrate in BTC of the 350GH/s miner. 350 divided by 80 equals a theoretical hashrate of 4.375 GH/s per share. This is for a preorder for the first batch 1-500! My order number is 2XX (The lower half between 200-299).

This group buy is intended to let forum members take part in the opportunity to purchase cheap hash-rate through the recently launched KNC Miner (https://www.kncminer.com) company located in Stockholm, Sweden. The unit that the shares relate to is the KNC Saturn advertised for 175 GH/s (https://www.kncminer.com/products/saturn-1500).  

I have structured the purchase so that members wanting to get access to the exceptionally cheap hash rate/GH that the Saturn offers can secure hash rate from one of the machines without spending the full BTC30+ for a purchase.

Offering:

- 35 shares of BTC1 each are available.
- Each share entitles the owner to 1/42nd of the BTC proceeds from a KNC Miner Saturn mining 24/7 for 24 months*, payment will be made to the address of the shareholders weekly. (* Miner breaking after 12 month warranty, random acts of nature like house burns down etc.,internet downtime, not covered in 24/7 for 24 months(should not be a problem))
- The 7 outstanding shares will be owned by OP as payment for power/maintenance of the miner, peripheral hardware needed (UPS, possible router etc) and use of OPs '500 first unit' pre-order number that will be used to purchase the device.
- After 24 months the miner will be considered 'spent' and become the property of OP (SilentSonicBoom).

IN CASE OF NON DELIVERY: I take no responsibility for the possibility that KNC Miner does not deliver the miner. I have done what I consider a thorough due diligence but as we all know, you can never 100% guarantee anything when it comes to pre-orders.

The coins will be sent in the next 4 days for the preorder to KNC Miner. Then it is up to them to deliver on their promise of hardware delivery.

I confirm I have escrowed a sale before for OP, where a name and shipping address was given by OP to the buyer and me. Please note that I cannot confirm 100% that the name and address is indeed the OP (on the situation of account being hacked/sold etc) though.

I have put in a PM to 5 forum members requesting if they can please post something here about them knowing my name and address here. It is up to them if they wish to respond. I would divide it evenly but this can't happen as my order will be placed after lottery closes for extra free equipment. I will still place order within 7 days if this group buy succeeds to maintain my place in the 1-500 batch orders. If I would have known sooner, I would have started the group buy earlier to get access to the lottery. Thanks for the comments.

Yes. There are shares remaining, but for how long I don't know. They are for the above mentioned order#. I believe the group buy will be a success. If not, the 1% fee is just to cover any minimal transaction fees to return your bitcoin(which would be way less than 1%). I want to purchase a group buy miner, not have to refund payments.

I MAY try to use an API for the group to look up the hashrate using something like Bitcoinium on the android based cell phones. I use this for my miners at this time. This is not a promise to use this as I have not thought how to verify the hashrate. Obviously, over time, the payouts should with variance in the mining approach the 175GH/s rate calculated with the current difficulty to determine bitcoins mined. Hope this helps answer your question somewhat. My main concern at this time is to finish the group buy in time to purchase the miner in the seven day time frame given by KNCMiner. Thanks for the questions.

Just out of curiosity, how many BTC would you need to make this group buy a Jupiter? Since the Jupiter price is less than the price of two Saturns, wouldn't you need less than BTC70? Wishful thinking maybe, but just curious.

Yes, if enough shares were purchased, a Jupiter could be purchased for less BTC per GH purchased. If this were to happen,  less shares would need to be purchased meaning more GH/s for each share issued. If you or anyone you know is in a position to send funds for an excessively large amount of shares to bump this up to a Jupiter purchase, I would be interested. Also, if we would get enough shares for a Jupiter, I would be willing to reduce my portion of shares to increase the overall GH/s for all shares issued.

The miner will be hosted in the USA at my place of residence, single family home, separate room only for mining in cool dry basement, with very reliable internet (cable modem 60Mbps upload, 7Mbps download)(not that speed matters much in the case of mining internet speeds).Surge protectors, fans, air conditioning, etc. will be provided.

If this moves up to a Jupiter unit, what is the expected delivery on them and what happens to your queue  position?

Are you taking delivery on this even if you don't sell many shares?

KNCMiner states on their website they won't take money until they can predict delivery dates better. How have they indicated a September delivery for your unit? Thanks. I'm interested in two shares but not committing just yet.

It may be hard to see in the picture in my first post at http://imgur.com/a/IFx5L . It states Shipment begins in September. My preorder allows me to order 1 unit that can be either a Saturn 175GH/s miner or a Jupiter 350 GH/s miner. My queue position should remain relatively the same as my order # does not change dependent on what I order.

I believe the group buy will be a success as listed for either a Saturn miner or possibly upgraded to a Jupiter miner. If the group buy is not a success, I will refund all bitcoins sent to myself (minus any minimal transaction fees up to 1 % as listed in OP). I will then most likely "bite the bullet" and "pony up" the bitcoin for a Saturn unit by myself. Thanks for your questions and I look forward to you joining this group buy!

Shares taken are not fluctuating up and down. No one has pulled out. Once paid, your shares are reserved until unit is ordered or refund of bitcoin due to unsuccessful group buy.

The number of shares remaining is listed in first post and is consistently going down. A few shareholders wish to not have their payment addresses and or identities made known. Thus the difference in remaining shares listed in first post and those at my payment address. Those that don't wish to have their forum names or transaction ID's posted can request an individual separate payment address from me for whatever reason they feel necessary. In a majority of transactions I have had outside this group buy and in it, this is not a concern for 99% of forum users. I can post a list of shareholders under the first post when time permits. Mining in a pool or pools most definitely. Variance would kill us even with a "mighty" 175GH/s or 350 GH/s miner. Also, difficulty will ramp higher as it has in the past. Choice of mining pool or pools will be made closer to delivery of miner. Thanks for the questions.

Yes, instead of 1/42 of payouts per share. Thus the incentive to receive 18 more shares purchased so that ALL SHARES WILL RECEIVE THE BENEFIT OF 1/80th part of a Jupiter.(This would be the equivalent of 1/40 of payouts under the current Saturn purchase). Hopefully this is not to confusing to most on the forum to understand.

Yes. Difficulty is much higher and the first week payout was actually for more than 7 days(paid on the 16th). This payout is for less than 7 days of hash time(paid on the 21st). That is why the big difference.

the week of 25 nov my HDD crashed and wallet was lost, the last backup was the week before so there is no transaction for that week's dividends. Is it possible to recover this as I assume it did not send?

They are not stored in you wallet literally.  Your wallet is just an ID number and gives you control of the transactions associated with the ID. The payment should have been made to your ID and recorded in the blockchain. As soon as your backup wallet is synchronized with the blockchain you will see it "in" your wallet. It is always good to keep a backup and offsite preferably. You haven't lost anything.
