Title: Bitcoin wallet can not be loaded using Post by: hxtop on June 05, 2013, 08:18:06 AM Every time when I start the wallet when bitcoin wallet client will prompt "wallet file wallet.dat damaged, rescue backup failed"

You should always make backups of your wallet.dat file
Try what hxtop said and import your wallet to another client. Also worth a try is using pywallet to dump the private keys from your wallet file.
