both equally good and have different features. if i want to see alt price and its market, i like to look for it in coinmarketcap. if i want to see new project and other information about alt i like to use cryptocompare.

I would say CoinMarketCap is better and much more structured which is due to its simple design. They have a diversity of cryptocurrencies on their platform and listed nearly all available trading pairs and exchanges.
As well, they also exclude suspicious pairs and exchanges whose fee is 0%.

I haven't heard nor read about cryptocompare but whatever it is if they are giving both accurate information about the market cap of cryptocurrency it doesn't matter anymore to me. It's a good one that we've got another choice for checking out information about what's on the top list, the percentage of their price if it's negative or positive. I don't give any review about cryptocompare but this is just what I want to say, there's no competition on it.

I'm using both because both have pros & cons.

But my favorite is coinmarketcap because it's more clean, more simple. When I'm looking for information, I'm looking for information without fancy effects.

Also stick with coinmarketcap, due their recent update now we can easily filter coins by market cap, 24 volume trades and price. Only disadvantage i find about coinmarketcap is that sometimes they are advertising really scammy ICO's  :-\ , so be aware !

I just heard about cryptocompare, both have different features, I think coinmarket cap better, because it is easier to find more information about alt coin, price and volume trading, listing market, and its features easier to use,

The scope of these two sites are different. Coinmarketcap focuses on coin prices and their market cap while Cryptocompare have a broad scope including but not limited to coins, exchanges, mining, wallets and they even have a forum. You would know what's better depending on your needs tbh. Personally, I've been using coinmarketcap.

in my opinion, the better in service is coinmarketcap. the information provided by coinmarketcap is very detailed, including everything from all token numbers, markets, the largest volume of the market and also the ups and downs are clearly visible. but maybe coinmarketcap also sometimes make mistakes. as the total of all tokens does not match the total token website of the project. perhaps the error occurred due to lack of confirmation or incorrect input data. if cryptocompare i do not know much about it.

It's about habits at this point. I use Coinmarketcap since they launch the platform and I never had any issues. So why should I switch to another platform? Coinmarketcap is good.

I can not compare this servises. They completly have different features. Coinmarketcap gives you fast research about coin, cryptocompare gives you more chart options, chats but anyway they are different. I am using both and it depends of information which i want to find.

coinmarketcap is better, but lots of new tokens are not listed on their list even though the tokens are already available on some exchange and if we check in cryptocompare we can find the token on their list and we can also see in market where we can trade the token

I stopped using coinmarketcap after the disappearance of korean exchanges' volume. The prices came tumbling down after that, as a result. Which is insane. Thinking that a simple website like that can make tens of billions go away in the blink of an eye. It's the same as mining centralization. I've started using livecoinwatch since. Customizable with a cool interface.

In my honest opinion, coinmarketcap isn't my favorite anymore after I used cryptocompare. I like the interface of Cryptocompare a lot more and the design just seems a lot smoother as well.

Ccoinmarketcap lost my respect after they decided that promoting shady/ponzi coins on their site for their own gain was acceptable.

Plus, there are just so much more functionality. Cryptocompare includes ICOs as well as coins, it updates prices live, it includes reviews, etc. etc. I also love the fact that you are able to track your portfolio on their site along with the market cap browsing functions. There is also a forum where you can discuss things over with other people on crypto compare.

Sometimes im been wonderin about this two services how  accurate they are or they just estimate the Capitalization outcome of every Coin or Token listed in there respective platform and what is the method they used to conclude that said Capitalization in US$ Dollars and how they are possible this is one of many question still bombarding in my head simply said in my own perspective I have doubt in this two services period.

I have never used any another market price source but only coinmarketcap. I am satisfied with the features that they had and the price listings of all alts including Bitcoin. When you pick your favorite service, it all depends on your comfortability and the functions that you are looking for have met.

Coinmarketcap or crypto compare?
if for knowledge of trading price follow all the history of Coinmarketcap that I choose,
the choice falls on crypto comparing when to know the starting price and the achievement of project funding with detail.

Fintab's development is fast and very client-oriented. When i have problem with "share my portfolio" (function in fintab) i wrote in telegram chat and CEO of project help me. it surprised me, becuse a lot of ICO project is not connected with his users.

I do not why derrick takes the blockfolio in the discussion while we are discussing about the CMC and Cryptocompare site. In these both site I could see the coinmarketcap is the good one to check the value and analysis over all history.

Then we people are using the coinmarketcap to find the newly listed tokens in the market. I hope we will find the more options dedicated for all the field in CMC also very soon.

i do heard of coinmarketcap but i never heard of cryptocompare . so my vote will obviously go to coinmarketcap. coinmarketcap is also the first and popular source for crypto reference , other are just copy pasting. therfor there is no need for you to use  any other platforms aside from the popular ones.

I think there are many services that we can use, but it all depends on each one. because this is an option that will be able to make a guarantee for the future in determining this choice.

Not only just convenient but also it do already have the feature that you do want. Like on those tabs like market, 24 hour volume and we can able to see up the rankings and thats a good thing as a preference and when it comes to popularity then theres no doubt CMC do have it. I didnt even hear about cryptocompare though since this post is how many years old back but CMC do manage to reach upto these days.

I think there are many services that we can use, but it all depends on each one. because this is an option that will be able to make a guarantee for the future in determining this choice.
It would always matter with our choice but we cant avoid the fact that coinmarketcap has it all but recent issues about data updates do put up some users to doubt. I dont know if its already been fixed.

Coinmarketcap is good to analyze the price changes alone but cryptocompare is being used for various purposes mate. I see the traders mostly check the CMC to pick the right for making the profit with their trade. But miners using cryptocompare to check the difficulty and price changes in the market.

I do not think we need to compare these both sites to make the money.

I see CMC is adding coins with 1 USD volume like Rentledger or with not-working main pages etc.

We (https://webchain.network) try to get listed there for months, we have over 2000 followers on discord, not so big volume as it is around 1000 usd and lately it went down but is in hundreds, but it's not token - it's full blockchain, not just a fork, with whitepaper, big team (30+) behind it and sucessful projects promoting it

Yet, we are getting complete silence from them. Each request is simply ignored. I was thinking that maybe CMC listing is based on unofficial payment fees? If so, how much it could cost?

If not, why are they adding completely unknown projects but ignore the ones with higher volume/followers? Looks extremely obscure to me.

If you never used other site to check a token beside CMC, how can you say if that's better than others? You can only say that's "Better" after you used other sites than compare with the other one. If you only use 1 site, it's mean you are satisfied about it and it's not "better"
