Wow. That's amazing! They were nobody until 2009 when bitcoin created. I think early bitcoin entusiast get they fortune if they don't ruin they coin. lol

Actually, I'm not familiar with what you say I only know is Satoshi Nakamoto and the student who has betting on his parents. so your answer is great to learn more about what others need to know

403BTC is the equivalent of 2 million USD with the current rates so why list him as a billionaire on the first place? The Winklevoss Twins got 60 million USD from the Facebook settlement and probably invested everything on bitcoin in the early days. I believe they own 1% of all the coins and they are currently running Gemini exchange so they probably have more then that (they were millionaires before bitcoin) and to answer OPs question, no, the only billionaire would be the creator of bitcoin but multi millionaires has been made for sure. This could happen to any of us, If you invest enough now and forget about it for a few years.

What about Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam, the founders of CoinBase? I don't know how much they made or how much has been made by traders moving money each day.

Them are some truly shitty sums.

The Winklevii alone are now over halfway to paper billionaire status. They own over 100,000 coins. There are quite a few others who own more than 100,000 too. Some time next year I expect they'll be billionaires but of course they'd have serious trouble turning any of that into USD if they felt the need for some reason.

Honestly i've heard about several stories saying somebody became a millionaire from bitcoin, one example was the kid who dropped out from school and started investing bitcoin at an early stage. He was really lucky, and considering how much patience he got and still believe on what he was doing, and afterall it all paid off.

A few will become billionaires.. Thats crazy to think about! And even more will step into the millionaire range in the next months/years.. Cryptocurrencies are changing the economics of the world

For me no one can be a billionaire here in bitcoin, why? Because we didn't know if the bitcoin is forever been transfer money for us. Base on my research the China will annoying the bitcoin, we know that the China is a very big country they can destroy the bitcoin because of their technologies and knowledge.

I don't think that there are people who became billionaire because of bitcoin because that is too far from being realistic because that is about being a billionaire and not being millionaire and the only person that i know that can be a billionaire is satoshi nakamoto, the creator of bitcoin that got a lot of bitcoins in his wallet for sure.

Is there any info on the amount of BTC of Poloniex founders? :D  Just curious, cannot imagine how much they realize from our trades..

Well if thats true I think, I must salute him then, working herein bitcoin is not just walking in a park, you are building your footsteps to strive, evey bounty here is a win-win situation where in its either successful or not , its either big or small profit in which really test peope ton how are they are goung to continue if the situation are getiing cycled, its aways been the same working without enough paymet, it sucks but if you are eager enough person then undoubtedly you ca be one of them.

You made things just easier but I think there are many more people who might have become a millionaire . Like Jamie just purchased alot of Bitcoins when the price was dropped back then and today the prices are 5200 USD . So the prices just increased from 3k USD to 5.2k USD and he purchased alot of btc I don't know the exact amount . So 2.2 k USD per btc profit is a huge profit.

Of course there are people who got millionairs/billionairs through Bitcoin only.
In the early days of BTC those coins were worth almost nothing. Early adopters who invested ~100$ (and still own those coins!!!, There are also a Lot of ppl who could have been millionairs but they Sold their btc) are insanely Rich by now.

Yep. Actually it is not billionaire but millionaire I guess. My friend who starts to earn bitcoin in his 4th year in Junior High. Now he is a college student and able to sustain his own life but sometimes he needs a advice from his family. He able to buy all the things he needed and he wanted. And of course he can buy anything because he is a millionaire.

I doubt if we have even one Billionaire in US Dollar terms. Some people might be a Billionaire in some 3rd world country

currency, but being a US$ Billionaire in Bitcoin will take 190 400 or close to 200 000 coins {at todays price of $5250 per

yes. but it depends what you do and think. all of which are concepts of investment, trading or anything pertaining to crypto and bitcoin.

This is only the few aspect of the whole rich people that got their money from bitcoin I guess. There must be maybe thousands of regular people who became millionaire with bitcoin when we see $5000 per bitcoin.
