When will BTC value be $10,000 take a guess
When do you think?

I have all ready made 2 post with each target, the fist target was to reach $2,000 usd  and it took almost 42 months to achieved that goal from the date the thread was made.

On the second thread the target change to $5,000 usd, and it took less than 5 months to achieved it, from the date the thread was made.

Now this is the 3rd thread asking the same question but with a target of $10,000 usd

So what is your Guess? Do you think it will reach the 10K? and when?

I think bitcoin is destined to reach 10k and probably considerably higher but I think we may have to wait until at the earliest of autumn/fall of 2018. I think this years gains have been quite remarkable but that they will not be repeatable again next year.

beginning of the 2018 ... because all contrats will be include Bitcoin asset (or something linked to).

This would be the safer route to long term adoption, but bitcoin’s value is driven by a network effect - the faster the price grows the more people get on the train and then the faster it grows.
I hope we don’t see 10k until late 2018 early 19 but I think it is more likely we see it in 2nd qtr 2018.
That said if we get a massive dump post 2X all bets are off. It will take BTC a long time to come back from a proper crash as more people will get burned.

I Agree and according to the source that i am relying it was a real good source that  $10000 will be reach as early as January 2018 and so on predictions. I don't know that bitcoin assets etc. i only focuswd on my goal nd the price how it predicted by advance montly predictions.

I have no doubt it will touch 10k usd, its just a matter of time ! :) Keep hodling and enjoy free coins from forks. BTC beats any ICO or altcoin, as an investment in my opinion.

I think we will see great returns in the long term. I still believe user adoption is at a relative low point, ready to accelerate just keep calm friends :)

This year was an exception, make no mistake about that. For the first time since Bitcoin was launched, it reached, nay, it seized the attentions of tens of thousands of affluent people. People with wealth, bankers and investors who may have previously heard of Bitcoin but bought into the general disdain amplified by mainstream media. But if 2016 was when the tide slowly turned, 2017 was when the waves of crypto came crashing into the consciousness of conventional money.

And so, despite setbacks that fought to stem that tide, Bitcoin was in demand. People could not get enough of it. I've met so many people now who just told me "yeah I bought a few bitcoins", since it was only a few thousand dollars for them. I still do not own 1, but I know so many who collectively are several members of Bitcoin Club.

But does this mean it has reached its peak? Surely not so that it cannot reach 100% growth next year, I think!

I don't guess it. I believe it and there is no doubt.  I am sure that sooner or later we will see the price at 10000 dollar. A day price was lower than 1 dollar. No one couldn't imagine today's situation. With the knowledge of this, Sure that 10000 dollar can be just a milestone before much higher prices.

If the current price trends continue then it could be as early as the first few months of 2018, that would be a near 10x in one year.

Btc prices have crossed now 5280$ and a good day for btc as the it has reached a record high after finally crossing 5k mark which was being waited for a long while now. If market seems to be good in 2018 we can expect it reach somewhere 7k mark and then hopefully 10k soon in a couple of years max.

I think it will be over $10,000 by end of next year, I am expecting around 6-7,000 by end of this year which will also be ATH price till now.
Some correction is possible after a huge rally but $10k is possible within a year or even less than that.

Nobody knows, but i think that we will be over $10k soon, maybe we can see that price at the middle of 2018, but who knows? i think that this has to be a slowly process, if bitcoin goes to that price, then it will be very difficult to buy bitcoins, just think about this, 0.01 bitcoins will cost you $100, investors needs to take advantage of this cheap price, before it pumps to $10k.

My guess is that it will take a little bit longer than some expect.

As it seems today that a new bullish leg is confirmed after crossing the old ATH of just below $5000, we could see an "attack" on $10.000 in the coming year. It could reach $9000 or $9500, but at 10K there will be a lot of resistance. And I don't consider it, at all, "mandatory" that we will reach price regions of more than $6000 or $7000, for example.

The current bullish wave already began in January 2015, at about $150. $10.000 would be an increase of over 70x of the last low. That would be too good to be true, I think, so I continue to be cautious.

In my opinion we won't reach 10 k$ this year, with upcoming forks and unavoidable corrections there won't be time to reach this threshold before 2018.
Next year, if news aren't bad, we could reach 10k$ in first middle of the year.

Probably next year, i dont think it is going to happen in 2017 because there are only 2 months left before the end of this year, so probably we will be able to see that price before the middle of 2018.
But i am sure that the price will be at least at $6000 before december, or maybe a little bit more, but i dont know, it has been growing a lot in the last hours.

Bitcoin need 7 year to reach $ 5000 so I think bitcoin will reach $ 10.000 on 2024 or maybe less !
As I can see bitcoin always show a promising value because more people getting interest on bitcoin so if this keep happen, it will happen !

That was quiet a good guessing though but somehow an expected thing to happen. 2-5k price is reachable on a short period of time but talking already on $10k then it would really takes time for sure.Thinking off that bitcoin is just still 8 years old but yet we are still on 5k mark how much more on 10k? doubling it on a short period of time is not possible but well anything could happen but for sure it would takes years.

Yes, to reach $10000 or more we need to have patience. Everything won't happen as expected, there too unexpected scenarios prevail. Looking the growth happening with reference to time move, can assure that the value of the bitcoin will increase. It doesn't mean a big change to the bitcoin network.

I think yes,maybe but very difficult to the end of the 2017 if no in first two or three months of 2018 for sure he growing constantly what is very important.

This is a wild guess, but I'd say the first quarter of 2018. If this momentum keeps on going, we could easily reach five digits USD in a few months. Just need some good news about Bitcoin adoption coming often plus a big hit (like the US legalizing Bitcoin kind of news) to fuel the run to $10K.

I think Bitcoin will be able to reach that amount, next year. I can't say that before this year end it will already have a value of that high. Maybe, the highest value that it may reach especially if the hardfork will be successful, is 8000$, given the fact that there are only two months left before this year end.

I would say approximately 1-2 years. By the pase it's getting right now, it may reach $10k in just a year or less. Bitcoin is dominating the crypto section and will be for upcoming years.

I think BTC will reach $10k but not until at the earliest summer of 2018, it is too much to ask for it to continue pushing upwards at its current rate.

I think bitcoin can reach $10k pretty easily by the end of 2017 as $6k is in reach and fork is also coming so another pump can take the price to $7k. Anderson when everything will be settled in the fork then every bit gold supporter will come back to bitcoin taking the price further high.

I speculate that the $10000 will likely to be hit early 2018. Most probably around the Jan-Mar time frame. But December of this year maybe bitcoin will get to the $7000 range and it will continue to moved forward and by first quarter $10K is within our reach. I know it will not be very easy to get there because we really don't know that future, maybe there will be another roadblock that we need to get over with, but bitcoin is ready to take any challenges. So I believed that in no time we gonna get to that elusive $10K and we are all gonna rub in to the face of Jamie Dimon.  ;D

I was thinking April but now that we've broken through 5000 and even hit 6000 I wouldn't be surprised to see $10k hit as early as January.

Completely agree with you as no one expected that we will see $6000 price so early as we were hoping to see that price at the end of the year but now looking at the increase in price of bitcoins it gives me a feeling that we will see that price at the end of the year or may be in first quarter of next year and that price is not too difficult now to achieve.

As bitcoin catches on, we expect more people and more businesses to use it as medium of exchange. Eventually, some people believe it will be used as much as any other currency. Although Bitcoin is in a rising trend and keep going up, I don't believe that it will reach $10K at the end of this year. That's too very high price. Maybe by next year it will.
