i am thinking of investing in BTC inorder to get the free BTCGOLD what is your price prediction for btcgold opening and do you think it might have the chance to grow in price such as bch?

can't really predict it's going to be very unstable once it does happen. I would advise you to only take the risk if you can afford it as it may well not pay off but could also pay off big.

I predict it will be cheaper that BTC ;D

I don't really know how much this bitcoingold when it's exist. But I think it is just like bitcoincash. They are both from bitcoin so I guest it's price is near to bitcoincash.  And it hits the top 2 or 3 in the market.  Another new coins again from out beloved bitcoin, I want to invest in it either.

People are going to be dumping the market when it first launches.  I don't understand why people would buy this one as using GPU miners instead of ASICS will incentivizes mining, but those miners will need to sell, and i don't see the demand meeting the supply.  I see it being around $40/ea or less at launch, and then slowing decreasing from there over the next 6 months.

Did any exchange actually confirm that they're listing it? Haven't seen any so far.

Well bitcoincash got listed only a few days after it's release on exchanges, so i guess that bitcoin gold will be listed or confirmed a few days before, or maybe one or two weeks before the fork happens.
And regarding to the OP, nobody knows the price, but it will be worth $150 - $300 at least, just like bitcoincash did at the beggining.

But it's not bitcoin cash. BCH was a legit project, while this one doesnt even have a replay protection implemented.

$150 - $300 is way too optimistic.
It will be dumped hard.

My guess is $100 - $200  and may even pump to $300+. Once everybody gets their BCH and start dumping,
it should get down to bottom of its range.

It doesn't seem to be viable fork ; if you take a look at their
website http://btcgpu.org   you won't find an interesting thing

I agree with you, I'm guessing in the $150 - $250 range, with a chance of slightly higher.  I'm afraid alotta dumping is coming...

I think it will be less than $1000 and it will depend on which exchanges list it. But who does it serve and who even wants it?

Would you buy it if it is cheaper? Can it create it a value like bitcoin did or surpass it?

I don't think anyone knows. But a good guess would be to go off of BCH... something similar to that or maybe a little cheaper.

Well put and so true...  No one really knows, we're all taking our best educated "guesses".  I agree with CuteKitten, I'd look at something similar as well, probably will stay on the cheaper side, but may give you a good indication.

Less than 1 cent of a dollar. Nobody is supporting this. People only care about 2x fork. That could end up in a mess or put Bitcoin forever above 10k

if you didn't buy bitcoin yet, then now is probably not the good time to buy based on BTG. however, bitcoin price remain highly speculative that many believe it will continue to increase.

First 48 hours: $100
Thereafter: $50

It will then slowly climb to about $150 where it will stay while hardfork takes place.

I don't think Bitcoin Gold's price will be same as bitcoin cash.
In my opinion These forks are the way of getting free money.
I think bitcoin gold's price will be around 100$.

From the way people has been reacting about bitcoin gold on twitter and reditt I think we may not see it becoming like bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin gold is been seeing as governments taking over of blockchain technology and many bitcoiners hate that!  I can not actually predict were bitcoin gold will be and how it will perform when it is been louch into the market but one thing is certain that it will never be as good as bitcoin Cash in pricing. You can still buying bitcoin in other to get free coins on splitting.

No one really knows if this coin wont be better than bitcoin cash. We dont any have idea regarding on its price but same as most people predicting on here it wont really surpass the price on where BCH did. $100 would be sufficient and i do expect this thing will dump directly when the coin holders would posses their coin just like what happen on BCH but still it would manage to rebounds it price and make some serious free money on here.

I think the price of Bitcoin Gold about ~ 10 USD because it don't have supported by exchanges, wallets or replay protection. Sorrry said that: it's fake coin

no matter how much this btc gold will worth is no problem at all for me, this is free money for all btc holder

Many people are holding bitcoin and some pull out their investment in altcoins so that they can have bitcoin gold. This people would just dump the Bitcoin Gold after they get it so that they can get back to bitcoin and altcoins. There are rumors saying that Bitcoin Gold is already mined and will dump it on October 25th or Nov 1 so for sure it will go down. It is just another altcoin and it may become the same price as bitcoin cash and then eventually go lower. As I read from others, it may be between $50 - $150 range.

No idea what the price will be for btcgold, but it will be most likely the same scenario as with BCH.
First the price rose and rose until everyone got their coins and then there was a big dump.
But as already mentioned here in this topic, support for bitcoin gold is very low so probably price will be low

I think 100 dollars will not pass.There will be garbage afterwards.It will disappear and be forgotten.btc will come out steadily

they are doing this work to attract peoples's attention to the bitcoin

If the btcgold were range on that price $50-$150, I think it is not bad since this coin was starting to flow in crypto currency society. I know that if this coin are started with good influence to other crypto I think it will become successful and the investors were encourage to support this project for long run of time.

The price will not worth the hype, BCash has some people behind it helping the price, and again there is no exchange commitment to list it unlike 2X that has Bitfinex support and some exchanges now
