JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said he is no longer going to discuss bitcoin after much his-publicized criticism of calling the cryptocurrency ‘a fraud’ last month. Noted bitcoin critic and Wall Street banker Jamie Dimon has been known to make dramatic statements about bitcoin, calling it a ‘fraud’ that will ‘get someone killed’. The chief executive of America’s largest bank by assets also said he would fire any employee trading bitcoin for being “stupid.”  :D

Now he doesn't talk anymore as he knows no one cares about his ideas.
Bitcoin changes the opinion of all its opponents. Just wait and see how all of government, companies and all who are against of it will accept the technology of Bitcoin.  

What surprise me more is the people who actually took his words seriously and started selling in the first place. He is a banker, Bitcoin is a threat for him. He will definitely won't be the last CEO of a large bank saying that. He don't want to say anything anymore for the simple reason that bitcoin skyrocketed so It kinda proves him wrong and I could be wrong (and I hope I'am) but his last statements about someone getting killed makes me think that we will indeed see some people dead, most likely some Darknet Hitman stuff where bitcoin is used just so they make people think that bitcoin is an actual threat so they set regulations/ban.

yeah maybe they got enough cheap coinz, so mission accomplished?  ;D

He is outclassed talking about Bitcoin.

Good for Him if he wont talk anymore and i do assume he wont say a work again on bitcoin because its pointless because bitcoin community wont really get affected on the words he would say no matter how popular he is.Instead of getting some believers he would rather get tons of haters or critics for sure knowing that bitcoin community or believers wont really be easily be stunned on this fuds.

Well I guess he won't talk about btc anymore since his plan have succeeded. I really do believe that he just said those outrageous remarks about btc to cause more dips and then buy a bunch of coins. Or maybe he did it for his daughter who owns btc for her to acquire more during the dips. And seeing that we're currently at around 5.3K they got a great profit already so he decided it's time to shut up, lol!

Thankfully....he never had anything good to say about it but kept on insisting putting his petty remarks out there. I bet secretly he has invested and was trying to influence the market with his following

im not so sure though that Bitcoin would be accepted widely
across the world, it will be tolerated for sure but there will be
other government controlled blockchain currencies.

He cant really affect bitcoin users minds or to those people who do have strong hopes for bitcoin and those words of him would really be just a complete trash.No matter how those people or institutions would criticize bitcoin they cant completely stop it as long theres a strong support on it.I think he already give up on making some useless comments.

I doubt very much, he is the 60s and many old people of that time are supporters of gold, if you told me that he invests in gold would not be a surprise, but he invest in bitcoin is something unthinkable

Why the hell in the last few weeks are people so worried about his opinion? It's not like he's a prophet, so why are so worried about what he thinks?

Let's just say the when the IMF chief Christine Lagarde told Central Banks not to ignore Bitcoin and rightfully so, BitCoin is now at an all time high with more an more friendly regulation being passed by the passing days..

The first sensible decision he has taken for a long time relating to Bitcoin. When you have foot-in-mouth disease, you should refrain from opening your mouth any wider. Given Bitcoin's stellar ride, it was inevitable that he would be asked about Bitcoin.

Well, after his comments resulted into something he wasn't expecting, he decided to become silent about the matter.. or is he keeping his comments because his firm already bought loads in the background? ::) A typical banker's move, bail out and call it quits after you got what you needed. I do think that this guys would pose another FUD after a few months to get in and fall silent once more after they finished up buying.

Rule #1 guys, never believe in a banker's derogatory remarks re: rising asset.

He would not be in the top of the news all month if JP Morgan would not become one of the biggest investors in Bitcoin just two days after Diamon's words about Bitcoin and it's "fraud" nature.
I think he just got tired of all this critic in his address. he may stay with his opinion about Bitcoin, but he decided to shut up for better.

That is the best thing he can do, stop talking  ;D

Algorithmic liquidity provider Blockswater filed a complaint with the Swedish authorities against Jamie Dimon last month after he made the "fraud" comments. I wonder if that had anything to do with this. I bet his lawyers probably told him to shut up to prevent any bad PR or legal problems for JP Morgan. He should have known better, in any case.

Looks like Jamie and Bitcoin are inseparable. People just can't stop asking Jamie about Bitcoin, and he just can't stop ranting about it. He broke his silence after just one day. :D

That's what likely to be happen when someone is making a FUD. Now, he might be beating the odds of those people around him. Look what people made of what did he do and also for those Whales i guess he can't do anything about them.

I'm waiting if there is an image that will load because of the big space that's in the original post. Well he's not going to talk about bitcoin anymore because he thinks that he helped a lot of it with the current price increase and he still thinks he's the main reason of it. Giving bitcoin a lot of exposure that made investors love to investor more with it, I don't know if he do really have an idea that it's because of the upcoming fork. Firing an employee that trades bitcoin? Very professional.

He made a statement that it could trade for $100,000 before it trades for zero. The first part of the statement is going to become true. Even then I think he will rail against Bitcoin.

If it reaches $100k and bitcoin investors gains a huge profit from it, then you can't call them stupid. It is more than stupidity to compare Bitcoin and blockchain technology to Tulips, Tulips can't transfer funds anywhere. or rather has the capability to halving when supplies has already reach its maximum supplies. guess who is stupid.

Maybe he understood no one cares about his stupid opinions about Bitcoin, so he better shut up.
Anyway, he's right about "get someone killed". Yes, indeed Bitcoin will kill bankers like him.

Jamie Dimon does not have a clue what he is talking about,the only thing he can understand is that his financial company is not dealing with the most profitable asset in the world at the moment and he just want to shit on it  :D and so is the reason he is blabbering about it for a very long time and he thinks that bitcoin is used only by criminals,what a douche. ;D

He wants to create a Fud about bitcoin and hopefully to buy dip. in articles i've read Jamie Dimon daughter bought 2 bitcoins and i was like nah? Reverse Psychology.he wants to create bad news bout bitcoin so panic sellers will sell it early when the market is bleeding so that big whales will buy under the radar.

he may not talk about bitcoin anymore but he is now talk about how to make statement about making bitcoin price growing because he is already have some coins

bitcoin is already attached to his name and every time someone gets scammed either through ICO or pure scam, its jaime that's going to be remembered he can't be serious about not talking about bitcoin anymore. people will always think of him and will keep asking him about it. only to find out later he will be blamed by someone who listened to him about btc being fraud.

He is ashamed of himself now because in spite of series of attempts of criticizing bitcoin and hoping to bring it down the result was opposite instead bitcoin are now very expensive to start to invest. I'm so excited of where is JP Morgan now that he feels embarrassed too that their trust and reputation are now diminishing affecting more of their businesses. I would suggest them to invest in bitcoin now to cover up the losses.  :D :D

Well it is because he realized that all what he said was nonsense.  He will not talk anymore about it since no one would believe in him.  And it is all because people just learned that it is part of his style for other people to panic and sell their bitcoins and a great chance for him and his company to buy bitcoins.
