We got ripped off about a month ago. The scam wasn't to get a full BTC amount from us; atleast not in the end, they settled for the prepaid shipping which we sent along. In total they may have made a couple hundred USD. Escrow saved us the total amount, but we should have dug deeper and gotten the answer to the questions already asked.
