Title: Bitcoin is officially considered as a payment method by French Government

They consider it as the first decentralized electronic currency and officially talk about it as a new payment method on their information website .

This is just a good start, but there's no guarantee that they will decide in the favor of bitcoin in the future. It's possible that they (as other countries already started) will also start to develop the digital type of their own  national currency, and in that case they would understandably prefer their own and controlled digital money...

Are they just talking about it or is it accepted as an official payment method? As a key player in the EU it might have knock on effects around the continent
