Title: Why are allowed Store's topics in Auctions sections Post by: kolesozw on October 13, 2017, 06:44:04 PM Hello,
Why mods are allowing pure selling/store topics in Auctions section like those: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2263121.0 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2267317.0 OP is keeping the topic locked, then he's unlocking it just for bump and locking again. This is clearly not an Auction and must be only in Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Goods > Digital goods > Invites & Accounts Title: Re: Why are allowed Store's topics in Auctions sections Post by: AdolfinWolf on October 13, 2017, 07:06:45 PM Hello, Why mods are allowing pure selling/store topics in Auctions section like those: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2263121.0 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2267317.0 OP is keeping the topic locked, then he's unlocking it just for bump and locking again. This is clearly not an Auction and must be only in Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Goods > Digital goods > Invites & Accounts Have you reported them? I'm pretty sure noone of the moderators have seen it yet, which is probably the reason it hasn't been moved yet.. Not really a matter of allowing, but more like seeing it between all the other ""normal"" account selling auctions. I'm still wondering who would buy these accounts from a guy with 6 posts in total, 99% chance that these are hacked accounts, if he even delivers. Still wondering sometimes why the forum allows these guys to sell them like this :/ Title: Re: Why are allowed Store's topics in Auctions sections Post by: Welsh on October 13, 2017, 08:38:30 PM In future if you think something is in the wrong section, just report it to the moderators. You'll then find out whether it's been moved or dealt with a little later on. If it hasn't and you believe it should be then it might be worth messaging a moderator for an explanation. I'm sure they wouldn't mind explaining why. But, yeah these don't look like they belong there, so go ahead and give them a report.

I reported both of the posts yesterday, the one made by the newbie account seems to be pruned, and the ""shop"" thread seems to be moved to Invites & Accounts. Seems OP never reported them?? I also reported it is past. But the question wasn't about those two specifically. This is a practice in last 2-3 months. It's very easy to spot locked topics in Auction section with same author-last post. Like those from today: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2268896.0 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2272137.0 |
