The team behind Swarm city made an MVP a few months ago in order to provide a platform for users to hire taxi services, just like uber but without a credit card. Will this team have success in the near future?

I really want to think that Swarm would last a while though with Bitcoin being around, there's no point in having that Altcoin around.

I think public service like this is needed by many people. very good and interesting when connected with blockchain technology. But the problem is how to educate people to understand about crypto and how to use it.

Swarm City could have a chance especially in market where UBER has not entered, but I don't see them competing in the same market with Uber because  Uber will shallow them alive.

well its kinda the same with dovu. they trying to make payment become fair and more safety. i dont know wich one will be used by ubber. just hoping there will be a good one to be used by community

There's 0% chance that Swarm City would capture any market share from Uber.  Uber has unlimited resources, as does Lyft.

I'm pretty sure it will take a long time before another company can actually be a viable alternative to Uber. Uber made use of the technology before anyone else and they're way up ahead in the game right now.

We're in the early days of blockchain technology into effective functioning. As a part swarm city too has adopted the technology for an bigger growth in one among the largest service sector used by all class of people. If this doesn't reach out the people in short, nothing to worry as it takes time for everyone to realize the effectiveness.

I think this technology is good as alternative to uber because it is new and enhance and using cryptos than the old uber tech.

 I think you should compare it to another ICO hitting in December called GITTO. I translated their ANN and Whitepaper and I had some serious questions at first but the more I read the whitepaper (whilst translating it) the more I though it was good. They also have some good names with entrepreneurs who got bought out in multi million dollar deals.

Don't really know about Swarm City but I do know that if you're talking about Uber alternatives that this project is something to look into. They also don't limit themselves and offer a wide range of products to both consumers and businesses big and small alike.

Depends really. Uber and Grab though are taking the world by storm. This kind of industry is booming specially in Asia. And Swarm City could be a good alternatives specially people who have known crypto who are always using Grab and Uber as mode of transportation. If  they could just take a small percentage out of the two, then they will definitely make it. However, they should at least make a good marketing so that people will know that it has alternatives besides the 2 giant services now.

I believe that is too early for something like this .
Maybe only in test level.
There are many countries ,and the most people in them they dont even know UBER.
