Title: Yes, no or I don't know? (Newbie version)
Post by: mprep on June 06, 2013, 11:54:46 AM
I started a thread like this in the Off-topic sub forums but as some people can't write there yet so I made one here. The rules are simple: simply answer a question with a yes, no or I don't know and ask a new one. You can't answer your own questions. Ignore any question that don't have a possibilty to be answered with the before mentioned answers. If a person just answers a question and doesn't ask a new one, simply answer the question and ask a new one yourself. Let's go... Do you like beans?

Yes, Do you think Bitcoin will be one of the most used and successful currencies in the coming years?

Alright, it's on now. I don't know, do you think Litecoin will become more popular than Bitcoin?

No, but I think it will make a dent in the global market. Do you think anyone will successfully set up a UK exchange over the next year?

No, I haven't heard of any development which I consider worthy of creating a successful exchange. However, I could be proven wrong (I hope so). Do you think USB ASIC Block Erupters are profitable?

No, not with the difficulty rising as it is. Do you think that bitcoin will ever be accepted by the wider media as a legitimate currency?

WARNING! Don't answer old questions. Let's try to keep the train going.

Yes, but it has image problems which slowly need fixing first. Are western governments likely to accept and properly regulate virtual currencies in the near future?

Yes, the US government is already preparing for this. Do you think Bitcoin will mostly be used by criminals 5 years from now?

No, if it is still in existence 5 years from now it will have to be legitimate. Do you think it can become legitimate while retaining anonymity?

I don't know. In some cases yes such as dealing with select individuals and some cases no such as dealing with companies, who want a lot of info about you. Do you think AC (Abstract Coin) has potential?

I don't know much about the AltCoins (of which I presume that is one). I think it is likely that only one will make it big, and that as long as there is room for development of BitCoin, it is most likely that any good innovations in other coins will be brought into BitCoin when deemed necessary. Do you think that derivatives will ever be actively traded on cryptocurrencies?

No

Do you think there will be a better coin than BTC, as the alternative coins bring nothing special to the table?
