Title: OKPAY deposit on exchanges
Post by: recypha on June 06, 2013, 01:32:10 PM
see thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=218299.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=218299.0) but Im noob here:

So the story was that OKPAY took bitcoin hiatus. Indeed okpay disappeared from both btc-e and mtgox deposit options.

But now it is back: both exchanges now have it in their options again.

But https://www.okpay.com/en/company/news/bitcoin-okpay-terms-of-use.html (https://www.okpay.com/en/company/news/bitcoin-okpay-terms-of-use.html) states:

Quote
Any financial transactions involving exchangers and stock exchanges trading bitcoin are now prohibited

anyone?

Don't use OKPAY. I've heard nothing but horrible things about them. You'll likely lose your money.

thanks for the advice guys but this does not answer my question.

They did good service to me until they stopped with btc.

what alternatives do i have to get money from a UK bank over to any exchange? (other than weeklong intl wire transfer)

You can SEND your money to a bitcoin address, but you have to be verified first.

I used okpay for BTC-E before, they worked good.
