Someone explain how bitconnect ( the biggest scam in crypto ) is a top 10 coin with over a billion marketcap.  Are there really this many stupid people?

What happed man? You can share your story. I hope you didn't lose many on this project.

many people said like that, but many people said this project is legit too..
i think the main problem is their lending platform thats use HYIP marketing plan
but, this is about money, so people will come and joined for that

Sounds like NXT where it became a top 3 coin despite being a huge scam (now it's ranked 79).

Just looking at the BCC wallets, it looks like 93.36% of all BCC coins belongs to just 100 people: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bcc/#!rich

So even if you have just 1 BCC for $200, that doesn't matter as just the top 10 people alone have around 6 million coins out of a total of 8 million coins.

If that is not a scam, I don't know what is.

this is ridicilous, everytime the 100 people can dump the price hard and anothers people who hold a little BCC will cry..

From what I've heard:   they utilize bots to exchange between their own accounts to give the illusion of a lot of money moving around and increased value.

I guess it's because the devs own most of the coins. Nothing new for a pre-mined coin.

This is definitely scam, low volume, and many stupid investors.

I have never used bitconnect or read much about it. I was looking into that other HYIP control finance and almost deposited with them. Thankfully I waited and 2 days later they deleted their website claiming they would be back Nov 1. I was just glad I didn't get caught up in that hype, I now just focus on the main coins and a few alts. It's like the wild west out there.

Hopefuly not a scam, i have friend that invest in bcc for a contract of ten months. It is not encouraging to hear that my friend is scammed. But if it does a scam let us inform other people about it and give them knowledge on how it is done.

Bitconnect is just another HYIP with high return claims in the face of cryptocurrency. Only few people have control over majority of its supply, it was just another cloned coin and offers nothing other than being used for ponzi looking lending feature they have.

The key, I think, is to understand the project. Everyone has a different view of the problem

The biggest scam?  How i wish i have known about bitconnect since January .

I've been invited y my friends to join this Bitconnect as it promises 1% a day interest to the BCC invested in their lending platform. What they are not telling to their investors just let their investors find out is the the BCC invested cannot be withdrawn at a certain time. The minimum investment is $100 but you can withdraw your capital after 299 days.

They also brag that Bitconnect is now ranked #9 in coinmarketcap but their rise into the ranks are not really organic but because of HYIP. Good luck to those who invested and pray that they don't run away with your money. 

LOL, if you knew this in January, you may not invest it because it was exposed as scam, only a few invested it. But after they they hyped themselves.

Why do you think it's in the top 10 in coinmarketcap? this is getting old really, if you have a coin and few million dollars you have your spot in coinmarketcap. try mining and you'll see how does it work, I tried for a few weeks, it's a scam, I didn't invest, no body did. lol bitconnect.

I know some people made some money on this coin.
But, my intuition say to stay away from BCC. I cannot explain why ....

But I must say they did a very smart scheme, lending each other the same money (I suppose so).

Guys, I've been here for a while (2013) and let me tell you now: IT IS A SCAM.

According to their '1% a day on average' bot, if you invest $1000 now, in 2 years you will have $1,389,807.

Now without me having to explain all other reasons it's a scam (I don't have the time), please tell me how that is a REASONABLE and SUSTAINABLE investment.

They are clever at making it last, but it will blow up one day.

NXT was publicly announced, you shouldn't call it a scam only because only 72 people were first adopters. It is a real issue with the coin, but the technology itself is legit.

Don't know why these so much noise about bcc being a scam. We all knew that it's a hyip right when they did their ico almost a year ago.we also know someday it's gonna crash.we also know a lot of people have gotten rich off the scheme and a lot of people are still getting rich. So if u think u have the courage to get into the scheme fine. If u don't stay off.my only advice is if u have made money from bcc please withdraw ur initial investment and some to hedge against if and when it crashes.another coin is regalcoin which is consider as bcc 2.0.it rose from $1.2 to about $40 in less than 14 days it's ico

Yes, the above post is right.
Money rules apply in any business.
If you are in profit or made much more ... just withdraw the initial seed money and play with the house money.
I am just angry for myself that I didn't jumped in the ICO times. Now, I could be in profit, nicely.  :P
But, in my opinion, now it's too risky to jump in to this ocean full of sharks.    ;D

The price is heavily manipulated so there would be people like you who ask about it and the guys that lurk this place deposit their money to purchase the coin.
